Health › Re: Real Story Behind Nigeria’s Drug Market Raid by Vision101(m): 3:15am On Feb 27, 2025 |
MadPolitician: NAFDAC made mistakes or maybe they intentionally wanted to hyjack traders goods for whatever reasons. They are using a good excuse to perpetuate evil at places like Onitsha.
The Onitsha drug market has thousands of shops. Many of those are selling drugs, others are selling other things. There is a very important need to find fake drugs and arrest those involved on that. Everybody agrees to this including most of the traders.
Problem is that NAFDAC invaded these markets at the wee hours of the night, blocked all entrances to the markets, and started pulling down shops and breaking into peoples shops without the owners of the shops being allowed to come around. How is that right?
Most traders have many millions in cash inside their shops. Most products may have been packed in ways that need explanation for the NAFDAC officials to understand. All that was required was the presence of the traders. If they are found to be selling fakes, they should be arrested and if not, their shops should be opened.
But NAFDAC officials prefer a gangster approach by going into shops, opening shops, taking whatever they want without the owners allowed to be present, when the owners are just a pole away..., that is nothing but an abuse of power! See one of them oooo. Killer |

Small Uber corolla is now 9/9.5 m yet some foolish ones will still vote this government in the next election, the idio.ts in nigeria are more than the wise hence the politicians will keep playing us fool The greatest mistake that Nigeria will make will be to bring in another regime in 2027. The results of the reforms are beginning to emerge. A reversal will seriously hurt the economy. Imagine going back to multiple exchange rate regime, fixed exchange rate regime, return of petrol subsidy, slow down of efforts to increase crude oil production, reversal of tax policies etc etc. Almost all state governments will be grounded, salaries will be owed, projects abandoned. We will return to the era of using ways and means to fund recurrent expenditure. |

This are market where they have to clothing section, building materials section, cosmetic section, foodstuffs station etc. Its a big market...
You can't close down the whole market instead close the affected section of the market.
What has someon who sells vegetables n red oil got to do with this matter that u close down sources of livelihood. Some of the fake drugs are hidden in these sections that you mentioned. |

The greed and faulty concentration of 100% of government institutions of Imo state in Owerri, but no consideration for what to locate in the other zones of Imo state to induce modern develooment in them.
It's the same stupidity which makes your lot say the FALSEHOOD "Imo state is Owerri and Owerri is Imo state." Go to Anambra and say Anambra State is Awka, and Awka is Anambra State, you will be pushed into the gutters. Hahaha who sabi Awka? Owerri has been notable since the days of east central state. You don't ask why because you people lack moral consciousness when you were forcing all government institutions that induce human and economic development to be located in Owerri. No consideration for other parts of Imo state. Those institutions located in Owerri are reasons why people of Imo State run to Owerri to settle. It's time to get campuses of thise institutions in Owerri be opened in other towns outside Owerri in Imo state. Is it only Owerri that owns Imo state? Hahaha...... it's not our fault. Na God give us. Nchenches: Imo most expensive to live in is a self-inflicted injury.
Before return to democracy in 1999, politicians of Owerri cornered 100% of federal and state government institutions and parastatals and located all in Owerri area. Rest of Imo state have to drift to Owerri for settlement.
Even till today, Owerri refused to stop cornering for location in Owerri any federal government development institution. The latest is a Federal university teaching hospital imposed upon Federal Medical Centre in Owerri, whereas there are too many locations in Imo state outside Owerri for the hospital. Excessive Greed of local rent collectors and native land owners. We have FUTO in Owerri, ALvan Ikoku Federal university, Owerri, Federal Polytechnic Owerri, Federal College of Lands Owerri, Imo state university Owerri, all federal housing estates to Imo state located in Owerri, all state and federal ministries and paratarals are housed in Owerri. Nothing, absolutely nothing left for any other place in Imo state to develop with. Are you jealous? I'm an Owerri man. Owerri is small London. |

It's just unfortunate that the government loves wasting the time and resources of the country.
I'm wondering how they want to collect the so-called damages from a company that has no presence in the country.
If there were actually smart, they'd have cajoled them to officially set up their presence in the country and they try to get this illegitimate damages.
Fortunately, they are not as smart as they believe. They forced binance to technically withdraw their services from Nigerians.
A fool will always blame everyone else for his inadequacies, so I'm not surprised. So you are smarter than all the lawyers in attorney general's office. You don't know that if the government wins the case they can use the judgement to pursue binance assets all over the world. |

The rapid devaluation of the Naira started in 2015 when the utterly incompetent, gworo chewing Fulani Herdman from Daura began ruining the country while Tulumbu stood by and hailed him as a genius.
Binance was not even in existence in 2015, but the Agbado tout wants to hang his blunders on them and make them a scape goat.
Maybe Nigerians will finally learn their lesson after 4 years of this MU-MU ticket inspired incompetence. Off point. Most of the special drugs that are meant for special cases are mostly without nafdac number because they are not every day market drugs. If there is scarcity of dollar, all sectors both private and public will increase their rate of dollar exchanging
If FG pegged dollar at N1500 for the 2025 budget, how much was the same dollar around October, November? I don't know why people believe that there is an award for hating their country. Meanwhile they don't have any other choice. FYI government didn't peg the exchange rate for 2025 budget as there is no more fixed rate. This binance man is lying: 1. How did he know that the equipment were unplugged? 2. Will the legislatures think that he is senseless that they will be demanding bribe with cameras around them? 3. Hence he knew what they wanted why didn't he play along, pay and use it now against them. 4. Why is he getting into Nigeria's political issues concerning government policies or no government policies? 5. Why didn't he raise this issues why in detention?
Bottom line: binance is a criminal financing organization. That's why they've convictions all over the world.
