My Sìgìdì is been prepared. You forgot that the pipelines were built so many years ago. The deterioration has been going on but successive governments never thought of replacement. They concentrated on presenting themselves as doing good by satisfyingly immediate consumption. Now the neglect of past years has caught up with us. This is what is happening to your economy. You neglected your today in yesterday and if you do nothing now you will neglect your tomorrow today. |

Sangoamadioha1: It is the total cost of making the product available. It includes the cost of the product, the shipping and offloading the product. The shipping cost and port offloading cost, that would be eliminated, should reflect on the price of domestically produced fuel. I understand the meaning but your earlier statement painted a different picture. Basically the difference in cost between an imported and locally produced product is the elimination of shipping and port of landing associated costs. All the same weldone. |

So what this man is doing is playing jokes with the demands of the people of Nigeria. Better question is must they even be a part of the Nigerian government? The protesters should start by asking their representatives to amend the constitution so that the requirement of one minister per state should be removed. The size of the legislature should be cut down. |

You don’t mind that there’s fuel scarcity and very expensive to buy even when available After all the high expectations of Wale Edun, I’m very disappointed he has been a failure this far with Tinubu Macro policy issues and economic management principles is not the same as one man making a personal economic decision. You can decide to put your hand in your pocket and bring out money to spend or change your expenditure pattern. This is not the same as fundamental macro economics. |

APCNig: Okay nah.
Dangote should learn how to compete with others. The monopoly that he has criminally forced on Nigerians for decades is over.
Imported Fuel will come in, he too should compete with the price of the imported Fuel.
If Tinubu no give his friends license to import Fuel, shey na him enemies he go give? Dangote is the largest private employer of labour. If he had settled for importation will he be able to employ such large labor? Wouldn't it be easier for him to import petroleum products rather than all the hassles of establishing a refinary? Who will lose? I support the continuation of his monopoly which comes with employment and heavy payment of taxes. That's how productive capacities are built. |

Will the importation cabals allow this to happen? They want quick fix. Just buy and sell. China locked up their economy for years and became a production based country. It was initially painful. Their products looked substandard. They were begging nations to accept them.
Our nation just wants foreigners to come and produce natural resources, export and use it to import finished goods. Our taste is up to high heavens. |

Does it mean that if someone from another region becomes the president, LGAs from that person's region will have the highest allocations? Let's call a spade what it should be called! All I see here is a president enriching his region at the expense of others.
Top 20 highest allocations go to Lagos State LGAs?? Haba mana!!! Hahaha.....the criteria is in Nigerian law made several years ago. It's in your constitution. |
