mrvitalis: Them course apc to make wrong decision
Why give them tax break when you can give them low interest loans to expand?
Did this people in Tinubu team actually know the basics of developmental economics?
The decisions they are taking is shocking really makes absolutely no sense... Companies already have means not to pay tax if they don't want to... What you should so is ways to increase payee tax that's the tax that can't be written off, profit tax is not important
It's sad seeing this people destroying our economy gradually
Our GDP would be below 200 billion dollars by next year at this rate Always claiming that you know all. You ought to apply for world Bank president's job. Low interest loan for expansion? Is it a long term solution or short term solution? |

festacman: The President and his advisers are a huge disappointment so far. I mean nothing to offer in response to economic challenges that were obvious even at the point he was campaigning.
Zero vision. Zero roadmap. Just imposition of taxes and senseless distribution of rice. Future looks bleak. Sad, sad situation. I refuse your assertion. The future looks great. There is no reform without pain. Someone had promised that he would change Nigeria from a consumption to a production nation. Did that person understand what pain that is in it. The president had option.....take the easy route out and become popular and Nigeria gets worse on the long run. Take the hard way out and become unpopular for now but lay a foundation that Nigeria will forever be grateful. This was his Lagos option and today everyone is singing praises about Lagos. Only tough leaders can do what he is doing. He is aware that he is endangering his political career as he's presently unpopular. The informed and neutrals can understand him. Do you know what it means to pay $5billion Dollars inherited debt within one year? The airlines that packed up because of debt are back. It's not a joke to reduce your usage of 97% of your revenue to service your debt to using about 65% of your revenue. All within one year. The honest state governors are paying salaries regularly and executing projects. Where is the money coming from? Reverse subsidy removed and every budget - federal, state and local government will collapse. |

How can a whole IGP of Police come out bold-faced to tell people not to protest for fear that criminal elements could take advance of the opportunity? Isn't that clear proof that you, as an IGP, have failed in your responsibilities? Why is the Police trying to push what is his responsibility on the people looking to freely exercise their right to protest? So to you the police should have enough manpower to cover every street in Nigeria. |

I mean why do you people ask the dumbest questions ever? You should demonstrate what you preach. You are in another land built by several years of sacrifice by others. It is because of this sheer reality which is the vast majority cannot afford even 1/20th of that cost. The reason the North is being prioritized in such a way must already be clear to anyone at this point. The government fears northerners than southerners. Kobo... you live abroad.
