Open Letter to Homophobes
Far too many people play God and dehumanize Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans, and Intersex people throughout the world, in every culture, race, background etc.
The discrimination is so bad that it leaves many LGBTI people wondering and asking questions. This letter to Homophobes is being reproduced to answer many questions people have asked me.
Both heterosexuals and homosexual people, People of all faith have claimed that homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance.
Dear Homophobes,
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your bigoted rhetoric, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, they are clobbered with Leviticus 18:22 which clearly state it to be an abomination...End of debate.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Laws and how to follow them.
1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odour for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problems are my neighbours. They claim the odour is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
5. I have a neighbour who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2. Clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it?
6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there 'degrees' of abomination?
7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle-room here?
8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?
9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev.19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help.

AIRPORT is much different. That Ajah road was built by Jakande many years ago. What this government did is to build toll collection centers. The roads are not even bigger. Just one Local Government, you have 3 toll gates and you think its all okay.

Now Lagos state says they used the tax money to build the roads. But you still collect money on each toll....

I just got a job in a growing indian telecommunication company in VI as a Graduate Trainee Network Engineer. I am a 2-1 graduate of Elect/elect and the only experience I have is computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

It all started after the submission of my application and I was called for an interview.

The indian interviewer made me realise that it's graduate trainee level I can be for now since I don't have a Networking Experience and that I will be on probation for 6months before appraisal and subsequent upgrade to a full staff and the monthly salary is 50k .

The story changed when I was called to the office for further briefing the following week about the offer when another Indian guy interviewed me and told me that the actual salary for trainee is 40k and asked me when I would loved to resume?

My main problem is I'm staying far and my t-fare to and fro is 16k/month.

Please guys help me review the offer. Is it worth it? God bless you as you do.

Am sorry to say this but I think that we (IGBOS) should be ashamed of ourselves. You left your home land and went to another man's land to sort for greener pastures (understandable). Instead of you to make the wealth and come back home to help develop, invest and plan your homes, you chose to make it and called it a VIlla (instead of village). Look around you, see the beautiful structures you've built on another man's land. Look at the nemesis that have befalling most of you in such land. Some lose their investment to BokoHaram attacks, now you're on bragging rights with the yorubas. How silly can we be? Please re-map your plans and send it down home. We need those hotels, churches, schools, hospital, companies and all those structures that you guys have built on those undeserving land back home. If such can happen, the Igbo nation will be a Dubai that people pay to come and visit. God bless the IGBO NATION!

It won't be realistic to do so..... You can't live your biz and come back home. Igbos are making a living in Lagos and they have integrated best in Lag than any other parts in Nigeria. So i don't believe what you're saying applies to Lagos.....

By the wsy, the relationship of the Igbos and their host is symbiotic. Igbos need them too the way they're benefiting from them..

I have not heard of something like this oh.... What most people do is fix traditional and white wedding with 2 to 3 day difference.

If the space of waiting is not long, let the guy just chill. But traditional wedding is as legal as white wedding as far as Gid is concerned.
