If GEJ is smart, he would avoid making controversial decisions. No matter how much we want to argue in his defense, there's a moral issue with his action.
Sometimes, I don't seem to understand him. His decisions always lead to criticism.

Science/Technology › Re: Pygmy Sperm Whale Butchered On Lekki Beach by vislabraye(m): 2:02pm On Mar 15, 2013
I can imagine how whale pepper soup or whale suya would taste like.

I don't think the whale was dead, they killed it.

Car Talk › Re: Leaked Images Of the 2014 Range Rover Sport by vislabraye(m): 5:47pm On Mar 14, 2013
I don't think a car like Range Rover should keep bringing out new model. They should only upgrade the engine performance and accessory if need be.
I prefer the looks of the Range Rover Sport. Its masculine and sexY.

@topic. But can't our artistes be more creative? It's now becoming a trend to host reality shows. Before it was and still is clothing label.

One needs to be extra careful. Whenever I get down from my care to open my house gate, I turn off the ignition. It has always been instinctive for me.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Vs AC Milan : UCL (4 - 0) On 12th March 2013 by vislabraye(m): 12:04am On Mar 13, 2013
Too disappointing for Milan. They easily threw away a 2 goal advantage. They almost did the same against Arsenal last season.

Nairaland General › Re: 10 Ways To Remain Poor by vislabraye(m): 4:22pm On Mar 10, 2013
Some if not all the xteristics the op mentioned are the reason people remain poor.
But I would prefer "How to get wealthy".
I can just imagine what it would be like to be the owner of Facebook.
Fact is, everyman should take his destiny in his own hand. Any one who loves pleasure would remain poor.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea To Sell Torres For £15 Million ? by vislabraye(m): 4:06pm On Mar 10, 2013
2scorehigh: Please, is Torres now a slave?

I thought it's only slaves that can be sold?

Hmm...football is another form of modern day slavery.
Football is slavery, then what do you call banking where you have to buy everything on credit?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea To Sell Torres For £15 Million ? by vislabraye(m): 4:03pm On Mar 10, 2013
Liverpool has duped Chelsea and no guarantee of the purchase.

Giving a car is not bad, but sending a 30 man delegation to Dubai is silly.
I'm sure they will want to fly first class, oh I forgot the governor own a private jet and he can loan it to them.
These governors spend money as if its their own.
This is what happens when you are an illiterate who doesn't care or keep a close eye on things or trust people too much ... SMH!
It can happen to any body. Igbo guys especially the illiterate ones are not illiterate when it comes to money. Most likely he had other investments and he can't run all by himself.
@topic, 1.4 billion naira is not up to $104m. That's wrong calculation.
Romance › Re: Why Men Like Confident Women. by vislabraye(m): 6:02pm On Mar 08, 2013
A confident woman should be able to look a man that she loves in his face and say,"I love you." Since she's confident, she should toast any man she wants to.

A confident woman should be able to try out new styles with husband.

A confident woman should buy her husband gifts.

A confident woman should volunteer to join the army and be in the war front.

A confident woman should be able to take riskier jobs.

In fact, a confident woman should not be a feminist because she can do what a man can do and even better.
Politics › Re: Ezekwesili Replies Sanusi On $45bn Reserves by vislabraye(m): 5:50pm On Mar 08, 2013
mikeapollo: Dont mind this attention-seeking woman. She was the head of the so-called 'Due Process Office' under Obasanjo when over $16Billion was spent on power projects with nothing to show for it. Some of the money was even paid to fictitious and non-existing companies.

She belongs to the Obasanjo camp....together with Fani-Kayode, Soludo, El-Rufai and Ribadu etc. They are making noise to seek attention because they are no longer favoured by the government.

During the power-probe, she rushed down from US to come and defend Obasanjo.

A few weeks ago, she was at a PDP event to celebrate Obasanjo, and she was eulogising Obasanjo to high heavens, despite all the corruption in his govt.

I am not a fan of GEJ or PDP, but I dont like hypocrites. When they were in govt, they were telling us that all was well....but all of a sudden, they have turned into 'emergency activists' because they are out of favour. HYPOCRITES!

Any good follower of International Economics knows that Nigeria was able to save much because the price of Oil went to as high as $140/barrel during the economic boom of 2003-2007. It is common sense that the external reserves would be negatively affected when the price of oil fell to below $40/barrel for about 2 years.

Ezekwesili will be embarrased if Okonjo-Iweala comes out to debunk her claims.....afterall, Okonjo was the Finance Minister and the person who allegedly helped her to get the WB job, and invariably her senior too

The FG should ignore her. She cant even face Sanusi
Any one who praises OBJ is suspect. Its difficult for me to trust any one of them, either Ngozi or Oby.
This debate should be a means to an end and not a spectacle. I want everyone of them probed. Oby should be made to give an account of her stewardship.
Romance › Re: Why Men Like Confident Women. by vislabraye(m): 5:31pm On Mar 08, 2013
AjanleKoko: I'm not so sure Nigerian men like confident women, to be honest undecided
Nigerian men love confident women. There's a big difference from confidence and pride especially when the woman is doing well.
Confidence and humility are two rare combination.
Politics › Re: Fashola And Rochas Okorocha Visit Ladipo Market. Pics.. by vislabraye(m): 2:24pm On Mar 08, 2013
dolphinife: Whenever Fashola take a decision that will change the lives of people permanently and positively. People tends to cry foul. The question is dat is Ladipo market an Igbo market? Definitely NO. The problem these Igbo people have is dat they believe they are the only tribe dat knws the formula for business success yet, their people do not measure up to the first ten richest Nigeria. If you are looking for shrewd businessmen, come to Yorubaland.
That's a point. The fact is, were other tribes affected?

Did Lagos State analyse the complaints? Destroying a hundred houses is no small thing.

I don't absolutely agree with op. AIDS is one of the most lethal diseases but its only contracted through blood transfusion and sex.
Contagious diseases would include: mumps, conjuctivitis, Bubonic plague, chicken pox to mention but a few.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Vs Real Madrid - UCL (1 - 2) On 5th March 2013 by vislabraye(m): 9:39am On Mar 06, 2013
As a fan of football, the straight red wasn't worth it. Nani went for the ball and his feet weren't to high.
Similar thing happened when RVP was given a red card against Barca. That single decision cost Arsenal some vital goals cos Valdez na basket.
Well, UEFA conspiracy is not a new thing.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Is Dead by vislabraye(m): 11:38pm On Mar 05, 2013
What a pity. It seems after cancer is death. Cos most people who are diagnosed of cancer, usually die after a while.
