We want more threads like this grin. I'm not from either tribe but I like to watch by the corner.
Funny thing is that whether you're Igbo or Yoruba, any crime you commit is credited to Nigerians. There's no Igbo passport or Yoruba one.
Christianity Etc › Re: On Demonic Afflictions by vislabraye(m): 1:43am On Apr 06, 2013
Let's distinguish the causes of diseases:
It could be a natural phenomenon or supernatural. But in both cases, Jesus healed them.
There was a boy Jesus healed of epilepsy. The cause of the disease was a demon as recorded in the bible. Other times, Jesus healed those that were naturally ill.

I know of someone who was healed in a church of heart problem. In fact, the cause of the disease was demonic. A prophesy was given that her family member was behind her sickness. She was even discharged from the hospital to a prayer room. More than 20 years ago, and she'll still kicking on strong. She has even outlived some of the doctors.

Op I want to assume that you provide for her the best way you can and that you're romantic( ie spending time alone together, visiting the beach, cinemas etc)
I don't know why she would suddenly become frigid.
It could either be this:
1. Psychological: You may need to visit a therapist.
2. She may be seeing some1 else. Its a big possibilty. I hope you find out if its true.

Women are very territorial. In the animal kingdom, its the male that exhibits such xteristics, but humans are different.
May be you should look for a time to talk to your friend that won't bother her.

Goke7: But there are still friendly games ahead of which he can still make that feat, I think the guy is just been too hasty and not willing to understand, we cannot risk our very important games because of some recording breaking adventure.
You've made a lot of sense.

Its usually hard for a player to swallow it when another younger player is replacing him. Yobo should understand and he shouldn't be hasty to go to the public.
Fact is that Yobo being on the bench in the tournament was the best decision Keshi made. And if Keshi has found some1 better, shouldn't Keshi play him ahead of Yobo?
What Keshi did also happened to him. The last time SE lifted the trophy, Keshi was on the bench. Keshi didn't play much game in the USA94 world cup.
What I understand is that players would always have egos. May be Keshi should carry them along, but that shouldn't stop him from doing what he ought to do.

freecocoa: If only people know the power of communication, how will someone know what's in your heart if you don't tell them? I mean his dad is not a mind reader, talking to him will go a long way in helping the OP.

Who knows if his lack of being able to speak up is what's causing the distance between him and his dad\brother.
How can you make such wild speculation that his inability to speak up is the cause of the problem.
Would you love your introverted son less than the extroverted son?

@poster: Just blank your mind. Its very difficult to be in the position you find yourself. I think there's a root cause.
Does your father think he's not your true father? ( I know this question may be harsh). Cos I see no reason why he should behave the way he does.

Romance › Re: Typical Conversation Among Ladies & Guys : True or False? by vislabraye(m): 6:46pm On Apr 04, 2013
Guys could be very funny with greetings.
I use to call one of my friends, "public enemy". He calls me the same. We laugh over it.
I told one of my friends, "bring your fine cousin come make we talk"
He told me, "I don call am. She dey put on G-strings"

But women could be so strange at times. When 2 beautiful women sit together, they begin to size themselves.

I want to digress a bit. I would never forget what happened some years ago. My sister, me and her husband all went for a show in PH. It tirned out to be very crowdy and there were no chairs to sit on. Fortunately, I saw a group of ladies sitting together and they had an extra chair.
When I asked for the chair, they willingly obliged. I took the chair and gave it to my sister who hadn't a chair. From no where, one of the girls stood up and told my sister, "stand up from my chair." It caused a minor drama.

musiwa20: look at this 2 picture of the USA and nigeria soccer team.. You will notice that.. the legs of the USA team is longer from the pelvic area. while the nigerian have shorter from the pelvin..

the reason is the food the west eat compare to nigerian.. in the west people eat lower Carbohydrate food ... but more of protein food.. protein food grows the body.. highly Carbohydrate food do not make the body grow but strength mostly the muscle.. soccer players needs more muscle ..

and since nigerian have shorter pelvic to foot length.. they are more balance to the ground and people find it difficult to take the ball from them or push them down..

I'm also ambidexterous. I use my right hand to write but use my left hand to wipe my assss. cheesy.

On a more serious note, I don't know why many Africans are superstitious. Why major on the minor, and minor on the major. Is there anything intrinsically wrong with left-handedness. Abi is it a different God that created them?

I think this is the woman you're talking about.
I agree with her to a large extent, though its not absoluite. A lady as well as a guy can have a large pool to choose from in school.

Princeton Alum's Advice To Students: Find A Husband On Campus Forget Facebook's Sheryl Sanberg's message to women on "leaning in." A Princeton University alum is telling women to go in an entirely different direction. She is stirring up controversy – on and off campus – with her dating advice. Find a husband on campus now! That's Princeton alum Susan Patton's bottom-line dating advice to the young women of her alma mater. Patton says pick a smart husband before you graduate, because later the choices just get slimmer. In a letter published in the school's newspaper, Patton wrote, "Forget about having it all, or not having it all, leaning in or leaning out -- here's what you really need to know that nobody is telling you. For years (decades, really) we have been bombarded with advice on professional advancement, breaking through that glass ceiling and achieving work-life balance. Here's what nobody is telling you: Find a husband on campus before you graduate. Yes, I went there." Patton added in an interview, "These women on these college campuses, they graduate, they spend the first 10 years post-graduation developing only their careers. So now they're in their early 30s, and their options of eligible, marriable men have compressed." Her other advice is think about dating in your freshman year. By the time you're a senior, your male classmates have four classes of women to pick from. As you can imagine, not everyone agrees with Patton's motherly advice. "I don't agree with that," relationship expert Karen Ruskin said. "Actually, when it comes to intellectualism, although certainly having similarities could help a so-called future relationship, the fact is being an intellectual equal doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to have a happy and healthy and successful marriage." Patton defends her views saying it is just advice, take it or leave. Patton was one of the first women to graduate from Princeton. She is divorced, has two sons, who are Princeton grads, and runs her own human resources firm.
