You guys should stop quoting this of a fellow.
Don't you all see the shameless charlatan for who he is?
You are just fueling the extremely cheap publicity he craves for on this forum - commenting on EVERY thread, praising and typing prayers up and down and quoting 1/3rd of every main comment in a thread. Such an immature and pathetic human being

Science/TechnologyRe: Cloud Seeding Used To Stop Rain As Atleast 43 People Die In Indonesia Flooding by vivaciousvivi(f): 9:24am On Jan 04, 2020
kingreign:
NaCl (sodium chloride aka common table salt) is hygroscopic, meaning it absorb moisture from its surrounding and from the atmosphere around it. The knowledge of this property of salt is what is used to 'seed cloud', cloud seeding is a process of spraying chemicals usually NaCl into the atmosphere to absorb atmospheric precipitation. This will induce changes in rainfall or snowfall pattern and time.

Previously, Silver iodide or potassium iodide etc were used for this purpose.
Wonders will never cease.
Man has technology that can control weather?!
Please do give update in Jakarta if / when it works

Explorers:
Shark repellents such as Sharkbanz have been developed to send out strong magnetic fields.

The Electro-magnetism sent out by the device overwhelms the electro-receptors that sharks uses to hunt.

As shark approaches the shark repellent band bracelet/anklet, it detects these signals.

This then confuses the shark and effectively blinds it, vastly reducing the chances of an attack.
So that's what that thing is! I have often wondered. For a while I thought it was a brace so they wouldn't loose their paddle boards when a wave hits or they fall in cos it's sometimes attached to the boards. Silly me grin
Thank you jare

Yes i do. The movie that really upset me to that point was A QUIET PLACE. HEREDITARY was silly too. Have you seen A QUIET PLACE?
Yea I have.
Strange...It didn't upset me at all. Though it did make me think about possibilities of such a thing happening.
Hereditary upset me greatly, I won't lie.

What's your preference? Paranormal, slasher, zombies & vamps or horrors with religious undertones ?

Finally! Another female who is just like me. I love horror movies. I can't even really contribute to this thread cos I won't know where to start. A movie I saw earlier this year that upset me to the core was Hereditary. I can't place my finger on why but I deleted it from my archives when I was done.

After introduction the next thing she said is, you are not my type, you are too ugly to be my boyfriend.

My people, pls am I too ugly to be this lady boyfriend, cause I need to ask someone because I don’t have any girlfriend that I can ask
You are NOT ugly.

9jatriot:
They should go and pay the custom duties before selling the cars. They want to sell the cars without paying the required custom duties so that unsuspecting car buyers will be stopped along Benin road and made to go and pay the required sum. I support custom holding dealers responsible rather than individuals who confidently go around thinking the dealers have paid their duties.
You are getting some things wrong here though. Most of the affected dealerships were for brand new automobiles. About 3 Sundays ago, Customs swarmed and locked up dealerships. It affected major dealers like Stallion and Elizade as well. Some of them had complete duties paid. They didn't smuggle them in. They just wanted them all to come back and start declaring their assets as opposed sending their staff to do e-checks individually. It was strange.

How ever what happened to the donor? is he now faceless?
He is late. The dying sometimes sign papers that gives hospitals and their families the authorizations to donate their body parts, tissues and organs to others. That's why we have heart and kidney transplant waiting list etc. Chelsea was on the waiting list for 6yrs before it got to his turn. There is a fair amount of legal, medical (blood work, tissue acceptance test etc) approvals that take place with very few donors and unfortunately; far too many recipients.

4 bedroom duplex N30 million? Where? Lagos? Lmao
Its a terraced duplex and not a stand-alone.
Also you can see its not very big - even duplexes get levels.
Location also matters.
Moreso, a lot of RE companies allow you to spread payments - 60% or 70% upfront and take delivery of the house.
Its quite possible.

CrimeGold Toilet Stolen From Palace by vivaciousvivi(op): 12:01pm On Sep 16, 2019
Police are trying to recover a toilet made entirely from 18-carat-gold said to be worth around $6 million that was stolen Saturday morning from Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England, the stately home where former prime minister Winston Churchill was born.
The fully functioning toilet was installed as part of an exhibition by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan titled "Victory is Not an Option," which only opened to the public on Thursday. The palace remained shut for the rest of the day Saturday, a spokesperson said on Twitter.
Solid gold toilet to land in English stately home

Dominic Hare, CEO of Blenheim Palace, said that the artwork, titled "America," is valued at around $6 million.
Thames Valley Police received a report of the toilet's theft at 4:57 a.m. Saturday morning. The thieves left the scene at about 4:50 a.m., according to a statement posted online. A 66-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft.
Detective Inspector Jess Milne said in the statement: "Due to the toilet being plumbed in to the building, this has caused significant damage and flooding," adding, "We believe a group offenders used at least two vehicles during the offense."

The art was by Maurizio Cattelan and he has stated after learning of the theft "When this morning I was informed about the robbery I thought it was a prank and it took me a while, after a few checks, to come to the conclusion that it was true and it wasn't a surreal movie where instead of the jewels of the crown, the thieves went away with a b***** toilet," he said in a statement. "I always liked heist movies and finally I'm in one of them." In a direct plea to the thieves, he added: "Dear thieves, please, if you are reading this, let me know how much you like the piece and how it feels to pee on gold."
