Politics › Re: Biafra: Kanu Rejects FG’s Request For Secret Trial by vivalavida(m): 2:08pm On Feb 19, 2016
Meanwhile, Kanu, through his lead counsel, Chief Chuks Muoma, SAN, vehemently opposed the application which he said grossly lacked merit.
He argued that section 36(4) of the 1999 constitution made no provision for masquerades to testify in a trial ‎involving an alleged act of treason.
“An accused person under our jurisprudence and justice ad‎ministration must be confronted with his accusers eye-ball to eye-ball.
“My lord we operate an accusatorial‎ system of procedure under the common law. Justice must not only be done but must be seen to have been done.
“It is not within common sense to malign and accuse someone in public and apply to try him in the bedroom. Having been accused in public we want to also be tried in public.
“We therefore urge this court not to allow masquerades to testify before it. We want to see their faces and ask them questions. As masquerades, how will the court be able to gauge their demeanour and body language? Is it by the rhythm of their dance steps?
“The tenets of justice outweigh this application and we urge my lord to reject it. It has no merit whatsoever. Secret trial is for terrorism charge, it is not for the type of offence for which these defendants were charged.
“Secret trial does not apply in a case of treasonable felony or involvement in alleged ‎unlawful society. During the trial we will prove to them that we are not an illegal organisation”, Muoma added.

It took the national assembly and citizens just a few days to start spotting the multitude of errors.

A finance ministry manned by competent people should have spotted these errors in a matter of hours.

Yet again Kemi Adeosun the incompetent, is displaying her stupidity. Of course the Mumu at Aso did not help matters by appointing his ministers months after his inauguration and being a dunce himself.
What are we actually calling errors in the budget?
What we see in that budget is fraud. A well co-ordinated fraud being put in place to fleece the nation of her resources. The noise from the populace concerning the budget made those ministers disown their budget. They all knew those figures where in that budget.

I wont advise anyone to buy this tablet.
Internal memory is 8G but the actual working memory is 2.9gig. My contact is occupying 2.4gig. I dont know the quantity of contact i have that warranted such a memory size. The available memory ffor my apps to function @ any given time is about 800mb. Once i open my whatsapp and bbm, under a few minuttes,i start getting prompts that i have low storage memory. The phone starts dragging and everything slows down. The applications even start closing. I am not a heavy user of phones. The apps i have are the normal apps i need such as my facebook, linkedin, whatsapp, wechat, bbm. I havent rooted the phone before. I dont even know how to and i dont care to. This is dissapointing. If at the end of the day this sh.it keeps acting this way,i will break it
Politics › Re: The 2016 Budget; 1,800 Pages Of Putrid Mess by vivalavida(m): 1:50pm On Feb 13, 2016
That our national budget has been treated in such a shambolic, scruffy and scornful manner, the only inference that can be drawn from this whole nauseating episode therefore is that Buhari and the government he leads, has shown a contemptible level of irresponsibility and incompetence.

And that is the truth!

I feel like smashing this inote on the floor right now.
I keep getting a prompt which reads phone storage space is going low. Please delete some data to ensure phone stability. I have deleted almost all my apps which arent many because i am not a heavy user, even reformatted my sd card. Switched my phone on again and am trying to download the basic apps i use such as whatsapp only for the same prompt to come again. The phone is just useless now.
The contact storage seems to be the problem. I dont understand how my contact storage is eating up almost 2.4gb of my internal storage memory..

Someone should help me out

TYPICAL IMO STATE.

The Government that does not care about the people offends doctors, they take it out on the people.

Then when the sick Imolites die due to the neglect, these same Doctors would be at the funeral struggling for Ofada rice and sauce with other mourners.

So they cant think of a way to pass across their grievance directly to the government without making the people who support them to suffer. angry

Meanwhile, didnt they vote for Rochas?

Fact! Many Nigerians errorneusly believed that SE is only interested in business simply because they dominate in the SME's & retail sectors nationwide. In reality, both in the private & public sectors eg in places like Lagos, P.H, Abuja etc, there are as many Igbos as there are others, even the indignious ones. In times past, business was seen as a means of livelihood for semi illiterates but today, things have changed, many Igbos after acquiring university degrees, discovered that there no jobs or even when they are employed that what they earn is just a fraction of what those in business earn! Today many Igbos on graduating now take over family businesses or branch-out in a more modern way. Yesterday, I went to buy laptop but during discussions, I learnt that he graduated from FUTO(same as I) in 2008, his outlet is just like office, he drives a honda EOD, is married & living very comfortably. I also ran into my old course-mate, he is almost through with masters but sells stock-fish!!
If that your friend who sells stockfish is in owerri and an ex futite,i know him. Meaning u studied geology

Despite the interference of my igbo folks in this thread which is quite a normal occurrence considering the normal di..ck measurement between both tribes, i love this thread. People have woken up to the reality on ground and have started asking question about the status quo on ground,

In igbo land, there is an adage which goes thus *onye ajuju anaghi efu uzo* meaning he who asks questions dosent get lost on the way. I wish you guys success as you do this inquest considering the falling standard of education in your region.

Anambra from what i learnt has got a good network of roads even in the interior hoods. Roads bring bout development

Some in imo state my home state should start something like this.

Ujoatu and Abagworo are sycophants who only care about that fat ass in douglas house.

Someone should take up the mantle and showcase my state. Do it like this guy does. Focus on one area at a time. We have our strong points which is tourism and entertainment. Focus on those areas. Create threads about investment opportunities in imo state. Showcase the development of villages/town one at a time.
I believe someone will. Happy sunday
