Business / Re: Does Travelling Abroad Truly Guarantee A Better Future? by Walala(m): 4:38pm On Nov 09, 2011
coogar:

nobody in nigeria can even tell you that answer.

freedom of information is zero. if you try too hard, they will misinform you.
shouldn't there be a government service that one can task to provide this kind of information so foreign investors can know?
some people will say glo. others will say mtn, some others will say cobra.

i have been asking various people this information, the point is many don't even know the difference between speed(bit/sec) and size(bytes).

Its an absolute shame because everything i use at home from tv, to home office to play station to apple stuffs all run over the internet and the thought of letting go of some usage because some company gives me only 5Gb of data a month is crazy. What ever happened to Adenuga's glo marine 1 cable that was supposed to break new grounds in terms of data?
Phones / Re: Blackberry Internet Vs. Smartphone Internet Data by Walala(m): 4:10pm On Nov 07, 2011
What is the best service for Iphone? Relocating to Nigeria and my iPhone is everything to me in terms of connectivity so i need at least 2GB monthly. Any ideas please? Also any ideas for Ipad data bundles? Any ideas for home office (wireless) with unlimited data?

I have my own business and its mainly run online so I am expecting a big challenge either financially or speed when it comes to data access in Nigeria.
Family / Re: Help! Mine Jobless 18 Years Old Brother Just Bought A Car Worth 5million Naira by Walala(m): 3:25pm On Oct 28, 2011
I think you should advise your parents that this money that has no legitimacy is a risk and while they can keep enjoying now, when katakata bust and their 18 year old son is somebody's wife in jail, you will have no part of it.

However if the money is coming in now, advise your brother to save and invest in property or something that he can always fall back on and you can handle his investment when he heads to the drag net.  Most billionaires have done some shady things in the past and that is where they made that first windfall to get into bigger things so advise your bro to start thinking that way because he will not listen to you whining about him quitting his venture.

Also when a younger sibling starts to make more money than an older one, there is that little bit of envy that even you cannot deny because family members will gravitate to him and ignore you like you be shit for floor.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Vs Arsenal (3 - 5) On 29th October 2011 by Walala(m): 3:11pm On Oct 28, 2011
Chelsea should run riot against these gunners but our defense has been suspect too hence the no clean sheet this season.  But we are fighting really hard under AVB and that spirit will carry us through.  This is the difference under AVB versus Ancelotti because players know that their place is not guaranteed so they work hard.

Starting eleven

                                             Cech

Ivanovic       Luiz     Terry (old Man)        A.cole

Mireles          Mikel             Lampard (another Old man)

Anelka                                                        Mata

                               Torres   grin

I have a 2001 Lexus car and a 2011 Toyota camry, what is the total cost of clearing each. They will be in a container with my furniture, bed, dining set, electronics and other house hold items. I am relocating back home. One guy told me it would cost me 2.4 Million naira to clear all items.
Politics / Re: cc by Walala(m): 3:36pm On Oct 17, 2011
You Igbes are very crazy to think anyone is scared of you.  First of all Hausa and Yorubas have Islam in common so they will always be aligned.  We Yorubas are the ones that keep Nigeria together because we can deal with both sides.  I am yet to see an Igbe man and Hausa man be close friends.  But you will see Igbe guy speaking Yoruba trying to hang out around Yoruba guys and also Hausa and Yoruba guys hanging with each other as well.

If war starts, all we have to tell our Hausa brothers is that any attack on us is an attack on Mohammed and they will unleash Jihad on these stupid igbe fools.

Biafra set you fools backs 100 years because the rest of Nigeria hates you and have seen that your best ain't nothing order than starvation of your people and CANNIBALISM (bloody animals).  All you will do is starve your kids and eat each other when we trap you in your zone.
Culture / Re: Ekele (greetings, Well-wishing, Compliments, Regard, Salutation) In Igbo Culture by Walala(m): 9:06pm On Oct 14, 2011
Who cares, I would never be caught dead speaking that irritating language.
Culture / Re: Is The Igbo Language Dying? by Walala(m): 3:09pm On Oct 14, 2011
Yoruba language is seen as cool that is why artists like Dbanj, Ice Prince and Wizkid use it freely in their songs without even considering those that can't speak it. Even Tuface ,a non Yoruba sings songs in Yoruba. This is not an insult to Igbo people because it is just what it is. When people speak Igbo, they are seen as "Raz" or Illiterate just because of the tones that exist in the language and how it sounds.

The Igbo language will not die but you guys have to find a way to make it cool so that others can use some words. Words like "Porokotom" just sounds raz.
Celebrities / Re: Comic Actor Baba Suwe Arrested With Cocaine At Lagos Airport by Walala(m): 11:13pm On Oct 13, 2011
Please help count how many "Igbe" people vs Yoruba people are shown in the report below.

"He gave the names of those on death row as Kingsley Okonkwo, Michael Titus Igwe (Real name-Izuchukwu F. Ezimoha), Uchenna Cajethan Onyenworo, Ekperedike S. Olekama, Adam Wilson (real name-Emmanuel Okari), Hillary K. Chimezie, Eugene Ape and Humphery Ejike.
Others on the death row are Okwudili Ayotaeze, Obinna Nwajiagu, Daniel Enemuo, Fredrick Lutter (Real name-Benjamin Obiora), Sylvester Nwaolisa, Gabriel Nnadi, Dennis Anumona and Ikenna Ezenwune, while Stephen Rashid, Joseph Ndaba, Ken Michael and Obinna George are currently serving life imprisonment.

He disclosed that most of the convicts, who are currently languishing in Nusakambagan Island prisons in Jarkata and other parts of Indonesia, were arrested shortly on arrival to the country and without them hearing Indonesian language, they were sentenced to death, without allowing them to take plea or have fair representation from legal practitioners."
Celebrities / Re: Comic Actor Baba Suwe Arrested With Cocaine At Lagos Airport by Walala(m): 11:07pm On Oct 13, 2011
It will be recalled that Samuel Iwuchukwu Okoye and Hansen Anthony Nwaolisa were on June 26, 2008 executed by Indonesian authorities for drug trafficking.

BY and Large, Yoruba drug lords target Europe but those stupid "Igbe" people always moving drugs to countries that kill for such offenses.
Celebrities / Re: Comic Actor Baba Suwe Arrested With Cocaine At Lagos Airport by Walala(m): 11:03pm On Oct 13, 2011
How dare you bastard "Igbe" people talk about drugs like you are not the kingpins who do this the most. Google Nigerians on death row in Thailand or Indonesia and count how many are yoruba vs "Igbe". See example below

"Iwuchukwu was condemned in March 2005 by the high court in Singapore, after he was found guilty of transporting 727.03 grams of heroin into Singapore and is currently awaiting execution following the death sentence pronounced on him."

Who the hell names their child Iwuchukwu sef?

This act is very typical of Yorubas, including Inbreeding. Shameless pigs.

Your great great grandfathers and your future generations are pigs and will remain pigs.  You bloody illegitimate bastard.  I swear these igbo boys are full of "igbe".  No wonder your women are after us, matter of fact I have one coming over tonight.  I will do her extra hard in memory of you.

LMAO.  I have always said it that these Igbo dudes have no swag and they don't know how to approach babes so they resort to rape and other atrocities against women.  Thats why Yoruba guys are taking over their women because we just have that swag,  tongue tongue tongue  And for you female Yoruba infidels that choose to hang out or roam with the beast just think of when they go loco as usual and have 210 rounds of sex with you in two weeks.

Soon theives in Nigeria will start sending out tweets and texts that we are coming through so be ready and nothing will happen.  Can you freaking imagine 2 hours and no police in sight.  SMH.

Is this robbery stuff rampant or once in a while because I am relocating end of the year but me I fear armed robbers O.  I have never been robbed in my life and don't want to experience that evil.  I keep having nightmares that one day robbers will come to rob me and the robbers will be someone I know because i have many old neighborhood friends who have no jobs and will probably end up being robbers.
Romance / Re: What's Your Definition Of Being Single?( A Single Person) by Walala(m): 7:16pm On Oct 03, 2011
Whenever I meet a pretty young young woman then I am single regardless because I just have to tap that.  They don't call me "Animashaun" for nothing  grin grin grin grin.  I have to let most women enjoy some of the blessing that God gave me down there.

Guys, if you want to speak the truth about how you feel about women without no politically correct nonsense, go to the blog http://nigerianamericanboy..com/ to chat.
Business / Re: Is Cyber Cafe Business Going Extinct In Nigeria? by Walala(m): 3:14pm On Sep 30, 2011
Cafe or no Cafe, my question is that is Internet fast in Nigeria now because the last time I came, i was appalled?  I'm relocating to Lagos and if there is anything i hate in life it is the lack of access to information on the web.  I am willing to pay 30k per month as long as it fast.  My speed here is 65Mbps for downloads and 18Mbps for Upload but when i research online for Nigerian providers, i see speeds of kilobytes instead of Megabytes.  shocked shocked shocked

If people have affordable and reliable access at home, why would they need cyber cafes?

Also i thought Globacom's marine one fiber optic cable that he connects to London with was supposed to change the game in terms of data connectivity?  Any major difference since he deployed?
Romance / Re: Singles Only: Are You Tired Of Being Single? by Walala(m): 2:48pm On Sep 29, 2011

Foreign Affairs / Re: Troy Davis Execution, What Is Your View? by Walala(m): 3:00pm On Sep 23, 2011
On another note, the white racist that killed James Bryd was executed on the same day and for his last meal he ordered:
Two chicken fried steaks smothered in gravy with sliced onions
*A triple meat bacon cheeseburger with fixings on the side
*A cheese omelet with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and jalapenos.
*A large bowl of fried okra with ketchup
*One pound of barbecue with half a loaf of white bread
*Three fajitas with fixings
*A meat lovers pizza
*Three root beers
*One pint of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream
*A slab of peanut butter fudge with crushed peanuts

The meal was at 4pm and he was scheduled to die at 6pm. WOW
Foreign Affairs / Re: Troy Davis Execution, What Is Your View? by Walala(m): 2:52pm On Sep 23, 2011
This dude definitely DESERVED TO DIE simply because you cannot go around shooting people anyhow and thinking you're just a gangster then when its time to die, you start acting like a lil bit*h. I watch the show 48hrs on A&E and all you see is these young black kids killing each other left and right with absolutely no regards for human life but once they are caught, they start crying and calling for their mama. He got what he deserved for shooting another individual in the face earlier that day and the same gun was used in the officer's shooting so its either him or the guy he gave the gun to and that dude should have been killed as well.

“Bullet-proof charm exists but it is not easy to come by. On the OPC leader that was killed as a result of using the charm, the one they did for him was fake. He should have tested it first on an animal before asking someone to shoot him,” he stated.

grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin. The other herbalist said he should have tested it on an animal so he should have worn the charm on a goat and then shoot the goat first? LMAO

Clap for yourself. Good job
The sad thing about this is you can't get a quality woman, its got to be one with low self esteem so she can accept every BS you throw her way. Which means you never get to fully enjoy what heights your marriage could have reached.

You know those old men that end up being single and lonely late in life, making a fool of themselves throwing money and all possilbe to get a lady to smile at them? Look at the mirror long and hard now cos in future tht will be you and you wont like what you see.

Women are fake and only go for the money and the comfort it provides.  I can never be lonely in my life as long as i keep getting that $$$$$$.  The only guys that are ever lonely are the broke ones, hmmm, ever wondered why that is so?

Marriage is a game and who said you have to play fair.  I love women and will keep conquering them until I am a six feet under.

For more information on what men really think about women, check out my blog at http://nigerianamericanboy..com/
Romance / Re: Guys/ladies: How Many Affairs Are You Willing To Forgive? by Walala(m): 3:04pm On Sep 20, 2011
As a Yoruba guy, I already know I would cheat and my partner will forgive because i got that "Gwap" $$$$$$.  My forefathers have always been randy and the conquest of women is seen as a sign of wealth.  Cheating is very necessary for a man to remain sane in his relationship as long as you use a condom and protect yourself and your wife.  Any lady that still believes that her man will not cheat in their marriage can call me so that I can sell the Third Mainland Bridge to her.  shocked shocked shocked

Women are like cars and even people wey get ferrari dey tire and then go buy new car even if it ain't as good as their ferrari.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: UCL: Chelsea Vs Bayer Leverkusen (2 - 0) On September 13th 2011 by Walala(m): 9:43pm On Sep 12, 2011
Lampard is a waste of space in Chelsea midfield and I really hope that this is his last season at Chelsea. We should have sold him to Madrid when Mourinho wanted him.

Torres just released a statement saying our midfield is too slow and old and I agree with him; If we want our 50 million pound man to score, then we need a play maker to pass the DAMN ball to him.

Starting line up should be:
Cech, A.Cole, Terry, Luiz, Ivanovic

Mikel, Ramirez and Mireles

Mata Torres Anelka

Chelsea win 3 1
Career / Re: I Hate My High-paying Job. What Should I Do Please? by Walala(m): 4:28pm On Sep 01, 2011
My problem here is how is 210k naira a high paying job?  That like $1300 a month which is what someone working as a security guard in USA makes a month.  Our country is DEAD if 210k is a high - paying job in an MNC.  I am planning to relocate end of the year and I already make equivalent of a 1million Naira per month here in the states, so i was dreaming hoping to make at least 750,000 naira a month to at least justify my move.

Why are professionals so underpaid in Nigeria?

Anyway per post, since everybody dey talk say there are battalions on the streets looking for jobs everyday, I will advise that you don't quit your job and keep saving and try and strategize what your next move is. DO NOT QUIT without having a plan.
