FactBoyz:
grin... I am so so so happy of the events that took place at the state of the union address today.. Nigerian time 3 a.m. Trump addressed the nation on the achievements of his administration in
1. Providing millions of jobs for blacks, Hispanics and women an all time record high
2. Best US economy EVER
3. Best military worldwide etc
4. Kept all election promises..
5. Signed back act to allow prayers in US public schools.

For Nancy Pelosi and Democrats, they are not happy with all the good things going on in the states.. GO TO HER CONSTITUENCY IN CALIFORNIA AND SEE HOW DIRTY THAT PLACE IS FULL OF HOMELESS PEOPLE...

And finally, the media have been highly ANTI-TRUMP especially CNN, MSNBC, ABC News etc.

Trump is the real man!!!!!!!!! And Most Americans LOVE him.. Former Democrats are beginning to join him... Democrats couldn't even conduct elections in Iowa..

Buhari cannot even address the nation

God Bless Donald J Trump

Yea that's why he banned your Shithole country. You shameless Nigerians that still support this racist.

Where are the igbo leaders or are we going to say the fulani herdsmen haven't killed any igbo person? Where were the leaders in Benue when Fulani herdsmen were killing their citizens. Yorubas should be very smart to not react stupidly to these few killings because the igbos want to see the two tribes that they HATE EQUALLY shed each others blood. The unification between Hausa and Yoruba is fine and we can always work things out but the Igbo chest beaters are the real problem. Tell me of one time that the igbos have retaliated to anything the Hausa or Fulanis have done to them after the serious massacre of Biafra....

Nigeria is bad for majority of citizens and everyone needs the government assistance so please CAN YOU FOOLS KEEP QUIET and stop thinking you're better than anyone and lets work to fix the fu**ing shit hole called Nigeria. In 2023, voting for Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be the beginning of the transformation that Nigeria needs. He is the most educated president we will ever have and his records are there in Lagos for all to see.

Politics / Re: Okorocha: Igbos Will Get Nothing In Buhari’s Second Term For Not Voting For PMB by Walala(m): 6:05pm On Apr 10, 2019
Ryabcool:

First, Buhari lost my support a long time ago. Saying this now, so that anything I tell you will be seen as nonpartisan and what I truly feel.

When i said you don't have to like someone but you need to respect him, can you honestly say the igbo people treated yoruba with respect in the time of GEJ? There is even a thread where you guys mocked yoruba people when some elders went to complain to him about so little executive appointments in his administration. Did you attempt to bring yoruba people closer when your adopted son was in power? Have you forgotten when GEJ called SW leaders rascals? That big insult was what brought about the drunkard tag SW gave him. Instead of peace, there were threats to dominate yoruba people in SW and take over Lagos. Someone even tried to contest for governorship. In a ethnic society we have today, that was a big insult. There was no insult that wasn't dished here. I remember the famous "Eko oni ogbanje o" slang you guys coined here on nairaland.

Now I won't excuse some utterances that some leaders made. Eg oba of Lagos and his lagoon speech. But did you guys attempt to embrace us as brothers? Was there any dialogue or diplomacy? We were turned to a laughing stock and insulted

You can't treat us so badly then go ahead to call us betrayers when we decided to go elsewhere.

And now instead of trying to settle and diplomacy, you people are talking about using North to punish us. How do you guys want to progress when you keep fighting everyone?

Really, yoruba people don't want you to like them. We really don't care about your friendship. Just mutual respect is enough. If there is mutual respect for each other, there is no mountain that the south east will climb that the south west will not support.

It's not too late for the igbo race. Dialogue and diplomacy is not completely gone. Try to reason amongst yourselves, and come forward to the table. We are waiting to talk to you.

Thank you my brother....How can a tribe who calls you broke, slaves, cowards and all other insults expect you to side with them in politics? The fight the igbos want is with the North but they know they will be crushed with immediate effect because Hausa man na military mindset them get and how can they forget the genocide caused by the coward Ojukwu who ran away just like kanu. At least Kanu asked after the whereabouts of his dog.. grin grin when he ran to Isreal. So they pick the easy fight which is with us so they can have someone to beat their chest at. I have never seen them insult the Hausas like that or say Abuja na no man's land. Even when they are slaughtered in the north, na diplomacy them dey use try settle am, never retaliate and they are supposed to be warriors,,,LMAo.

But bro forget all that diplomacy talk...the hate in those guys is too deep and we just need to keep working with the north because what happened under GEJ is a quick glimpse of what will happen if these ingrates every get presidency...No one trust them and lets leave it like that...

These Igbo people are the most delusional people in the world and that's my conclusion. I am a Yoruba man in USA with no tribalisitic bone initially but after reading Nairaland and facebook comments especially since the election, i have never hated any group of people more than these ungrateful bastards. An election where two Yoruba states chose a Hausa man /Ibo ticket over their own Son / Hausa man {topic for another day} but yet we Yorubas are still being called slaves? What did you want us to do? vote all states in Yoruba land for man a named Obi whereas you guys voted overwhelmingly for your own son.

Okorocha is speaking the truth because a man cannot reap where he did not sow but i don't expect you illiterate igbos to understand that after all you are in another man's land and still being disrespectful to your hosts who have never attacked you or made life hard for you. And for those chest beaters saying they don't need federal government intervention or assistance and that Igbos have continued to thrive and are doing so great, please watch the video below and let me know if the people on there are not the so called Jews.... grin grin. Oti na Palestines you for call yourselves.

Culture / Re: As A Nigerian-american, I Would Like Insight On Which Language To Learn by Walala(m): 3:39pm On Apr 08, 2019
Even though I am a Yoruba man living in the USA myself, I think learning your father's language should be paramount because it can help fill a lot of gaps in your life and also the Igbo are very successful and take pride in their culture . Learn it and connect with your father's people. Plus i think they will disown you if you said you could speak Yoruba and not igbo.

But do not partake in all the tribalism that you might come across because no one tribe is better than the other..We are all Nigerians and one day we will realize that.

I have a huge house in Lagos and will be returning from USA to serve in Lagos so any corper (females only) that need accommodation should contact me asap and I will assist. Can only take in maybe 7 people at the most. You don't have to pay me anything for the duration . I am just helping out because Things are hard in Lagos. I also have multiple cars so we can arrange movement.

This NYSC thing is suffer-head because when i went to register in Abuja, the hustle was too much not to talk of a year of suffering in that Lagos Heat. I am scheduled to return to Lag on June 28th for picking up call up letter and then camp follows the week after but I am willing to pay someone who can do all this nonsense for me. Coming from America, I cant stay in no school or share bathroom e.t.c

Please i need a hook up with ppl who attend camp on peoples behalf. I already have someone who is going to do the one year thing for me. grin grin grin

Computers / Re: Internet Speed Rank In Africa; Ghana 1st & Nigeria 9th by Walala(m): 4:23pm On May 18, 2012
Akwasi:
According to latest statistics from Ookla’s NetIndex, Ghana has been ranked with the fastest broadband Internet speed in Africa.

Ookla is the global leader in broadband testing and web-based network diagnostic applications. Based on millions of recent test results from Speedtest.net, the NetIndex compares and ranks consumer download speeds around the globe.

From the results, Ghana currently has download speeds of up to 5.14 Mbps, ranking it 73rd in the world. The country is closely followed by Kenya with 4.94 Mbps, Angola with 4.53 Mbps, Rwanda with 3.28 Mbps and Zimbabwe with 2.98 Mbps in that particular order.

Other African countries with the fastest broadband speed include South Africa with 2.98 Mbps, ranked 6th in Africa and 105th in the world; Libya with 2.94 Mbps, ranked 7th in Africa; Morocco with 2.77 Mbps, ranked 8th; Nigeria with 2.30 Mbps, ranked 9th in Africa and 129th in the world; and Tunisia ranked 10th with 2.12 Mbps.

http://techloy.com/2012/03/12/africa-top-broadband-speed/

Most of you are a bunch of morons who have no common sense. Did you see the criteria that was used for the comparison? They used speed test .net tests and took the average so it is only right that a country like Nigeria where everyone wants to feel among and they go get internet but they get the cheapest kind and then they start to test their speeds because that's what everyone is doing so the low scores will bring down the other higher speed test scores. There is absolutely no way that Ghana has this speed and it is not tied to population or total number of internet users.

This is a silly report that does not include all the criterion used to derive such baseless results. Ghana will never grow like Nigeria and you can ask the USA who is more important in the world today. Nigeria GDP is $240Billion compared to Ghana's $37Billion. Even Lagos has a bigger economy than Ghana. *****Hissing*****

rokiatu: Damn another marriage thread, I am beginning to worry. What is happening to our young men?

You telling me they are all turning gay?

I am thirty years old and I am not gay at all. I am single and looking for nice woman but my criteria is not being met. I want a pretty, sexy (skinny waist with big ass and boobs); a woman that is in good health and good shape. A woman who has graduated from college (Masters preferably) and is working for a big firm and earning good. A woman who is prayerful and is from a good home. I don't mind a woman who is around the same age as long as the love is genuine and not a case of desperation to get married. Women of that age always seem desperate and pushy because my last relationship was such where every action was pushing me to the altar instead of getting to know one another.

Men of nowadays don't want to make mistakes and that's why guys are now getting married well into their thirties.
