PhonesRe: How Can I Remove The 'sent From My BB Signature'? by walcolm(m): 10:23am On Mar 18, 2013
trae_z: No offence but this is the most laughable thing I've heard in the past 12 hours. So being a tell-all BB user is a standard for judging top of game degrees. LMFAO.
if you want to learn, you can learn or you can go about in your ignorance thinking you're all that
PhonesRe: Airtel Internet Is Presently Slow And Crappy by walcolm(m): 7:03am On Mar 18, 2013

PhonesRe: Blackberry Z10: Blessing Or Curse by walcolm(m): 8:12am On Mar 15, 2013
its really appalling how selfish you android and iPhone people are...have you ever put yourself in the shoes of those who use BB?

BB users pay N1200 for 1GB of data with Airtel for example and is barely able to use 100MB of that data in a month because the device just doesn't have the capability to use up the data and the bulk of the data it uses is even compressed further to reduce the data footprint, that comes to effective data cost of N12/MB. you guys pay N3000 for the same 1GB of data which you use up bringing your cost to N3/MB

yet all you people do is come here to whine and cry about injustice and how BB users are getting a better deal without taking the time out to do the math. so who's getting short-changed nah?

finally a BB device that brings a better experience to the BB ecosystem comes and the networks that have been benefiting from taking money for data that never gets used are now quickly turning around to reduce BB data even below what you people ave been using yet you still come here to whine angry
PhonesRe: How To Initiate Mobile Number Portability In Nigeria by walcolm(m): 4:21pm On Mar 14, 2013
hillsate: for real?
The more this MNP does not make sense.
of course it makes sense...why would airtel give you N100 airtime when you paid that money to mtn? when you port your line from one network to another, it must be on a clean slate...you cannot be owing them (postpaid) and its your responsibility to make sure you use up your prepaid airtime before requesting the port
PhonesRe: Airtel Internet Is Presently Slow And Crappy by walcolm(m): 4:17pm On Mar 14, 2013
Did any body get a call from Airtel that they need to register their number again because Airtel lost the information in their database?
PhonesRe: How Can I Remove The 'sent From My BB Signature'? by walcolm(m): 6:48am On Mar 14, 2013
Encoredme: Simple! Not everyone is a bb fan so seeing such a thing will just put them off as I use the email function to upload posts to my blog. It is quite unprofessional and uncalled for to indicate where I sent the message from.
actually, you're wrong about the bold section of your post above.

if you're a blogger, and you post from your BB (indicated by the signature line) it tells your readers you're on top of your game whether you're in the office or on the road and they can be sure you're going to provide responses and clarifications as the need arises. that is the type of thing that earns you the respect and trust of your readers to keep them coming back to your blog

if i was you, the only part i'd remove is the name of the network provider and leave it as such 'Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone'

your supposed 'embarrassment' by the signature is a self inflicted situation not backed up by real life hard data
PhonesRe: How Can I Remove The 'sent From My BB Signature'? by walcolm(m): 6:22am On Mar 13, 2013
trae_z: Duh! Lols. Recipients would be like we get he message already.

Peeps should learn to rummage over their devices when they get them, that way learning many tips that will guide you as you acquire more devices. Cos for example this question is a fairly easy one that one conversant with his/her phone would be able to solve by self..
most people don't take time to learn how their devices work.... that's not news but your post doesn't answer my question to the OP
PhonesRe: Galaxy S IV I9502 Photos Leak!!! by walcolm(m): 6:14am On Mar 13, 2013
@OP,

it will be nice for you to create proper threads rather than copying articles from the internet to ramp up your thread count

it is really annoying angry.....most people here can find the information in 90% of the threads you have created on this forum from their real source on the internet

you need to stop being an echo

the OP was asking how he could share a NL post to his facebook profile
PhonesRe: How Can I Remove The 'sent From My BB Signature'? by walcolm(m): 7:00am On Mar 12, 2013
Encoredme: I use a BB curve 2. Each time I send a mail it automatically adds this: Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone provided
by Airtel Nigeria. This sometimes is very embarrassing. Pls NLers how do I fling it off?!
why do you find the comment embarrassing?

retrieve the email password first the proceed to retrieving the twitter password. the process is the same
PhonesRe: How Can I Retrieve My Twitter Password by walcolm(m): 1:02pm On Mar 03, 2013
You need to remember the username you used in registering the twitter account and the email address attached to the account.

when you select the forgot password option, you input the email attached to the twitter account and a reset information will be sent to that email address

PhonesRe: Mtn-Nigeria’s Blackberry 10 Plans by walcolm(m): 3:49pm On Feb 26, 2013
Brainrex: ^^ And Galaxy s2,s3 I phone 5 users can't afford bb?
i use Samsung GS3, i have owned every generation of iPod since the second generation and currently own the iPad3. since the iPhone was released, i have never liked, will never like or use it. that doesn't mean i will go into a forum and use the features of the iPhone i don't like as an excuse to abuse people who use it. what they use is their choice and when push comes to shove, there's no one device that can give you everything you need not to talk of everything you want from a mobile device

The BB has always been my main device since the Storm 1 despite having other devices along side it because that's my choice.

but people who have not tried to use another platform go about abusing the people who use them when they are totally ignorant of what's happening there
PhonesRe: Help!!! I Have Murdered My Phone. by walcolm(m): 3:15pm On Feb 26, 2013
yep, when all is lost and your device is dead, you can always flash the factory ROM back to the phone to go back to the basics and the try again
PhonesRe: Blackberry/andriod Which Is Good For A Nigerian University Student by walcolm(m): 3:10pm On Feb 26, 2013
you can't go wrong with the android ecosystem for your needs as a student.

android is also economical for you. there are many variants of android and they are quite cheap
PhonesRe: Mtn-Nigeria’s Blackberry 10 Plans by walcolm(m): 3:06pm On Feb 26, 2013
mr.drizzy:
so thats ur summary on ppl against the brand .CHILDISHNESS..#SMH#
what other conclusion can you draw on people who have never used a BB but hate on people who use BB?

what i have found is that most of the time, these people cannot afford a BB. their inferiority complex makes them feel people using BB are 'oppressing' them

or how else can you explain the dumb comments about BB and BB users on this and other threads in this forum and other forums on the web?
PhonesRe: Mtn-Nigeria’s Blackberry 10 Plans by walcolm(m): 2:58pm On Feb 26, 2013
ibietela2: Leave that Guy. This is one of those guys that buy B.B with no BIS only to sleep with girls.
lol...if there are girls out there who sleep with guys just because he's holding a BB, then i guess you might want to get yourself a BB to get some action for yourself.

i sleep with classier girls. Girls who have their own expensive toys and don't see a BB as a status symbol but rather a necessary tool that helps them get things done
PhonesRe: Mtn-Nigeria’s Blackberry 10 Plans by walcolm(m): 2:54pm On Feb 26, 2013
luluosas: Shut that your crappy mouth up if you don't have anything to say.
Bright De Gea: You plank, you are an illitrate, we're talking about truth and reality here and you are talking about girls and Tecno, don't agree that RIM is fucking you up?, then remain dead and buried you fool, if i hear you talk shit about Tecno again, you will regret ever joining nairaland
Loosers
PhonesRe: Mtn-Nigeria’s Blackberry 10 Plans by walcolm(m): 8:50am On Feb 25, 2013
rman: A lot of BB haters think by telling others they are wrong, will somehow, make them feel they made the smarter choice.

People should by phone that serves their daily needs and suits their pocket.

BB Z10 is not meant for everyone. If you can't afford it, stick with what you think is fair.

Coming online to call a company dead or rubbish because you can not afford their product is childish.

BB Z1O can be compared fairly with SGS3 and Iphone5 ( two great phones ).

We can all come online and rant but the reality on ground in Nigeria's phone market today is that BB is still the number one selling smart phone.

With the Z10 they will probably win back some of the customers that wanted a powerful tool which the old BB OS7 did not deliver. It is not everyone that intrested in BIS.
you have a good point.

most of the guys who come on threads like this to make noise about not using BBs are loosers who can't afford BBs. (the most annoying ones are the techno users grin). i'm sure some of them could not get with some girls because those girls preferred guys who use or can afford BBs

just generally ignore them because they don't matter. Because some m0r0ns say BB is dead doesnt mean its dead
