If you think your job, daily bread, fun, that ends with you is more important that the collective destiny of all black people all over the world, ....think again! I'm amused at our selfishness and myopia that have brought us to where we are as blacks in the comity of nations. I'm shocked at the self-centredness of anyone who doesn't seem to realize that injury to one is injury to all. |
Ok. |
Man's inhumanity to man. How blacks hate black more than whites hate whites. |
TIMELY INTERVENTION 12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14¹² KJV 23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. 1 Corinthians 10:23-29 (KJV) 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Ephesians 4:14-15 (KJV) 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV) IF YOU CAN'T REMAIN CHASTE, MARRY (NOT FORNICATE) 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 KJV BECAUSE THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3¹ (KJV) If you're a saved soul, the Holy Spirit will lead you into the truth, so that you won't be tossed here and there by every doctrine that could destroy you. |
Interesting15:God bless your for this awesome intervention. |
MasterRahl:We Africans must get our priorities right. The world has since left us in one spot. |
African leaders must be re-educated that the world is essentially not a global village wherein in you've got friends and trusted well-wishers in a communal setting --with the UN as our village amphitheatre where the elders periodically meet to discuss 'the way forward for the good of all. Enough is enough! The international community is essentially a jungle in which the winner strives to take all. There are no emotions, but protocols are set up to reflect great culture of mutual understanding and respect. It's not so in the real world. Wake up, African leaders and the lead! You must always suspect external actors as desperate invaders, usurpers, and sharks, who would stop at nothing to achieve their capitalistic goals even if it means having to destroy their economic friends tactically. You've got no permanent friends but interests. Be woke! Save the continent! Eternal suspicion, and not mere vigilance, was the price of freedom, as Thomas Jefferson said. |

WaleRock:2 Timothy 4:3-5 KJV 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. |
The bulk of the wealth of a child of God is invested in heaven. 1. The believer knows enough to not hold on to it but to use it for the specific purpose for which God provided it - the disobedience of which leads to one's deviation and destruction 2. The believers knows that it constitutes distraction when it gets amassed up to a point -- everyman has a price, they say** 3. Such a believer knows well not to be a stagnant water that stinks. The wealth we have is essentially not ours, we're merely treasurers or conduits through whom God blesses others. "He that watereth shall be watered also himself."-Proverbs 11:25 Moving on, And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Matthew 19²⁴ Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21 (KJV) CHASING WEALTH IS IDOLATRY Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. 1 Corinthians 10¹⁴ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6³³ ** EVERYBODY HAS A PRICE, AND CAN FALL 8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: 9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. Proverbs 30:8-9 (KJV) 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. Corinthians 10¹² (KJV) WHATEVER GOD HAS NOT GIVEN YOU, YOU DON'T NEED IT Psalm 127:2 King James Version (KJV) 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Matthew 6:25-26 KJV |
Matthew 7:15-20 King James Version 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Proverbs 13:20 King James Version 20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. |
Matthew 18²⁰ For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. My home perfectly served as our church today. And when the churches are reopened, we'll not forsake the gathering of the brethren: Hebrews 10²⁵ (KJV) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. |
akymolawale:The richest and most influential men in the world can never be featured by Forbes. They're above such narratives. The Gates are not among the 13 most powerful countries in the world - who own all central banks and control virtually everything, from food to technology to entertainment to the media, etc. Rothschild Astor Merovingian Van Duyn Rusell Rockefeller Onassis Li DuPont Freeman Kennedy Collins Bundy By the time you become extremely rich, you'll have had favours from a member of at least one the aforementioned families. Take it or leave it! |
What's the business of Nigerians with the personality of the pilot in the light of the big controversy surrounding the Chinese doctors/contractors/whatever? |
Righteousness89:Thank you. This is Wisdom! No need to get too emotional. Justice can be secured through better ways. We Africans and members of other races that identify with us can sustain a peaceful protest till the whole world's attention is secured. That's what will put an end to the racial prejudices. |
Seeing so many comments indicating how many people condone these acts of indiscipline and abuse of office shows how we always end up having bad leaders in Nigeria. Only one of these 16 charges is enough to drown public servant in sane climes. I'm really amused by the absurdity of corruption encouragement. |
emkz:Gbam! You're such a sound intellectual. Thank you! |
That's if PDP refuses to sell their game to the usual, rich customer...allegedly o. |
GamalNasser:We need more intelligent people like you on this platform. It's called false flag - an old tactic that's still very effective today. The dems have been loosing black supporters lately due to the successful efforts of a woke few to enlighten them. Facts have surfaced that blacks have had it better under Trump than under Obama. Ask your black friends in the States to be honest they'll come bare. The people must come to the point of refusing to believe everything they see on mainstream media. There are very powerful forces messing with our minds through the media. The nature of our reactions to their news products is their ultimate goal. If you want to know the real truth, don't be too emotional or dogmatic. This senseless and irrational - see-me-a-Trump-supporter-killing-a-black-man - is obviously not what it seems. |
There's also gospel entertainment that usually give glory not to God. They're designed for people to have fun, while they make the entertainers and stars rather than ministers. We must be careful of such songs aren't inspired by the Holy Spirit. |
Thazard:You're most welcome. |
There are certain exercises and food regimens that will surely help. I can't remember many of them, you could Google it up. If your jump can't put finger on your ceiling jump jump jump everyday until...well, your finger may not reach that particular ceiling but you'll definitely growing taller due to the constant stretching. Sleep early: height increases faster while we're not on our feet; sit down when you can. Make sure you stand up every 20 minutes to maintain a health body as well. Forget about genetics and work on yourself. It's being achieved by many people. But if you still like your height, be charming, loveable, charismatic, self-less, indisposable. Trust me, nothing is more charming! The concept of good height will always bow to the timeless concept of being irresistibly useful to mankind. |
samorobo:Thank you for the correction, bro. |
hammerP:POINT OF CORRECTION! Lagos IGR is more than enough to cater for its needs. By the way, there's oil in Lagos, Ondo State. Needless to mention Dangote Mega-refinery in Ikorodu-Lagos where oil from Southsouth will prefer to refine their crude oil. Please note those facts already! I can give you figures if you so need it! |
Amatarasha:PLEASE STOP THIS INSULT AND SPEAK FOR YOURSELF ONLY! |
EdiskyHarry:By USA, do you mean the government of the country or some corporate borderless individuals? |
ATAKAM:Gbam! |
I can't patronize China's phones again because that's one of the ways to empower a country desperately trying to literally colonize Nigeria and the whole of Africa. Secondly, their products especially those targeted at African markets are in laughably substandard. Thirdly, they don't use these phones in their own country. Fourthly, for being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands by allowing Covid19 to break out and ravage the world. We're all entitled to our opinions. |
For those equating money to success: Some people are so poor that the only thing they have is money. Money is not equal to success. You may not need more than N1,000,000 as cash in hand to fulfill your own destiny...that doesn't make you a failure to your maker. But if you go out of your way to seek money for self-aggrandizement and personal pleasures only, you're a failure. If you're blessed with wealth BY GOD, it's not for you only, but to pass most of it along... that is true SUCCESS. You're just a treasurer for God. But if you hoard it, you're like a stagnant water that will definitely stink. Becoming a slave to money is not worth it. Let's first correct our belief system |
light099:Thank you. High time we evolved at least for the sake of posterity. The people of the future rely on us to discuss thiings that will ensure their welfare and security. |
akajesus1020:Do your research and discover that there's essentially no difference between the two examples. Only one is more subtle and unassuming. Enough said! |
Bevista:A word is enough for the wise. As adults, when a stranger gives you a certain gift, you must be grateful. However, this gifts keeps coming. For instance, the gift is toothpaste that you can't sell, but must only use...while your number concern is malnutrition. You eat only once a day and that single meal is low in nutrients. The kind man knows your true needs even as you're obviously malnourished but insists that you continue to brush your teeth with his expensive toothpaste which can't be sold. Africans must think. Nothing on the international arena is free. You must manipulate the unsuspecting to grab what you can in smooth ways. It's called 'raison d'etat'. The world is truly at war - economic war... while some have even deeply more serious agendas. If you see a successful capitalist who becomes philanthropist, you've almost lost the game, especially if you're the beneficiary. |
