LIRS has no case against such ladies and men especially where those items they flaunt are gifts and the persons have no source of income.

VAT was paid on such items at point of purchase. So, LIRS should go to hell.

So you can say " I can swim in Benue/Niger "etc....borrow yourself brain now
It may be amazing to you but that is it: "I can swim in Benue or Niger" would actually be correct because those are the names of those rivers.

I am actually working with my brain intact but you don't understand.

femi4:
you can't. Is Benue same thing as river Benue or Niger and river Niger are the same
But the name of the river is Benue, the river in Niger is also called Niger, the river in Osun is also called Osun.

I believe that those arr the names of those rivers.
CultureRe: Ogun: The Only Yoruba Word, With 10 Meanings by Wallade(m): 4:37pm On Apr 27, 2019
femi4:
Ogun is not a river. You can only have "river Ogun" or Ogun river translated to Omi Ògùn
Really, I thought the name of the river is Ogun. The river is common noun of all rivers.

I think you can isolate the "Ogun" as the name of the river and establish that "Ogun" is the name of the river that passes through Ogun state.
HealthRe: Nafdac Denies Report Of 70 Per Cent Fake Medicines In Nigeria by Wallade(m): 4:30pm On Apr 27, 2019
I find it dificult to dismiss this report - https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2019/04/in-south-east-number-of-deaths-caused-by-fake-drugs-escalating/amp/ - without verifiable and scientific evidences. NAFDAC is trying to dismiss something that is almost glearing for whatever reason.

Do periodic random and stratified samples of drugs in the market across the country and conduct the Quality Assurance and Control checks against required specifications. Involve International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGO) and International Standards Organization (ISO) in the conduct of the research and checks.

Then NAFDAC can come back to address this issue. For now, I don't trust NAFDACs disclaimer.

Fixed! The last two are combination of pronoun and verb not one word
Your contrary observation is noted and well received sir.

However take out the "sweat", "climb" and "stab". Add the "river", you will still have nine (9) interpretations of same word. That is still amazing.

Their is nothing wrong if my wife have all her properties in her name and I will even have her use our kid as the next of kin not me but what is bad is me not knowing where her property are or trying to hide it from me
Please let her use her/your kids names only when they are above 18 years old. I would rather she uses you as next of kin tentatively till the child is above 18. It is easier to administer in case...

Please why 2k? Is that the price standard for dates these days? I am trying to understand this 2k obsession. Who are you guys on this forum? The 2k gang? huh

So I dress up for a date, then we go and drink water at Sheraton. Why don't i just drink my water at home?
Why not 2K? The date should be about the time, affection and chats but not really about the money spent on the date.

Moreover, there is no price standard for dates.

And hey, if you think such a thing is gonna happen and I'll come online and feed sadist like you,you better think again.
And hey i know this is an alternate acct grin grin
Given the statement in bold alphabets above, it is reasonable to conclude that your man sometimes acts childlish but you have your way of handling such developments without bringing it up on nairaland.

However, I believe that Gaspardd's way of handling it includes discussing it on nairaland.

Moreover, despite the age and maturity of a man, there is still a tendency for him to act like a child in some or rare instances.

Besides, can you define the word: sadist.

FYI: I maintain only one account on nairaland.

As it is now, my husband says he's taking me on a date, where would he take me to that he would spend 2k? Mama Nkechi's joint? Or to the roasted yam lady down the road? Let's just stay home and watch EPL mbok.
You and your husband can still enjoy a time out with 2k. A cup of tea or bottle of water at Sheraton Hotel and Towers is about 1K hence 2K for the both of you. You can sit out at the pool bar and have good time and gist while watching EPL.

In as much as i agree to this, but then its funny how NL makes me feel like what i did is woeful. That goes to show that NL is kinda of decoupled from reality.
Talking shìt with your friends is normal but as long as you know the boundaries. I wouldnt do sth of such if the guy knows this particular girl in person.
Do you realise that there is a possibility of moving that relationship with your girl to another level. If you end up in marriage to her, your friends should get to know her someday.

I must say that your "Kiss and Tell" friend would have to be matured to handle the imaginations and thoughts that will spring up in his head after/upon meeting her to prevent the lady from feeling embarrassed; him feeling awful or getting ideas.

You should know that his Modus Operandi is to always come and justify his actions.

He goes on a 2k date and then turns around and blames the girl for buying stuffs. Now he says hurtful things about "his bae" to his friend and instead, he blames her for going through his phone.

He is never wrong... always right
I should think you wouldn't do 2K dates; is that the honest truth?

Autojosh you better don't lose your relevance by focusing only on the areas yet to be completed.

Everybody living in Lagos knows the project is yet to be fully completed.

You don't have to show only the pictures of the places yet to be completed.

Your picture report should be balanced showing all the areas that have been done, which is providing motorists coming from the airport with smooth ride, and then the uncompleted places also.
Why should any sane person commission an uncompleted project? I don't understand it.

PoliticsRe: Jada Atiku's Birth Place Was Part Of Northern Cameroon- Premium Times Fact Check by Wallade(m): 6:34pm On Apr 15, 2019
cyrilamx:
Going by your question, was Ife central Local govt a different legal entity apart from pre independent Nigeria? Did Ife need a plebiscite to become a component unit of Post independent Nigeria? If PDP and Atiku had seen any loophole in the constitution against PMB, they would have exploited just like they did as regarded his certificate in 2015 and even now at the tribunal even though the SC had ruled in favour of PMB.

No one is disputing this citizenship of Atiku albeit by choice but He isnt a Nigerian birth. The 1999 constitution didn't include citizenship by PLEBISCITE as qualification for the Nigerian presidency. I can't find anywhere it did. Maybe the interpreters of the constitution will tell us. Until then accompany me as a keen spectator...
OK. Let me cut the chase, Atiku is a Nigerian by birth.

The fact that the 1961 Plebiscite provided the opportunity for the former British Cameroon to choose where to belong - Nigeria or Cameroon - and the Northern part of British Cameroon chose to remain Nigerians while the Southern part of British Cameroon chose to become Cameroonian made his village and state become Nigeria in effect. That means he is Nigerian by birth.

Besides, Nigeria was initially a British colony before it became Nigeria. Should we then conclude that our ancestors and all born In this land before Nigeria became a republic and independent are not Nigerians.

Atiku never had to apply for citizenship of Nigeria by referendum, naturalization or registration. He and everyone born in the former northern cameroon were all born in Nigeria especially because the village and place he was born is right here in Adamawa, Nigeria.

That means you dabbled into a mention you never understood its content. Even with the story he was born in 1946 in Jeda which is in Adamawa that was part of Cameroun before becoming part of Nigeria by plebiscite of 1961, you still arguing blindly? When Atiku was born, his birth place wasn't a Nigeria's territory. And by 1999 constitution, Atiku is not eligible to be president of Nigeria by virtue of the above findings....If that is too difficult to comprehend, I dont think I can help you again. Believe whatever you like, but dont cry later that PMB has muzzled the Judiciary to do his bidding ....
Good! I am testing your knowledge and cognitive reasoning. You answered correctly, especially given your statement that I made bold and I want you to note the statement in bold alphabets.

Please answer another important question:

If I was born in Ife central local govt of Ife prior to the division of Oyo state into Oyo & Osun state. Today, if I am asked where I was born, where should I say I was born?
