I support this statement OP.....use that energy you used in monitoring her and going to her office to get to know very well. Probably get to know her parents or guardian also. It's possible that your son smokes too and even into more dangerous stuff which you never suspected but this girl has given you an idea of course. She might be a good girl if you take the pain 5o know her very well. I am happy that she's still polite to you despite the knowledge that you don't want her. Often when it comes to relationship, what people don't want is what we Men always love to have. I am talking from experience and this story is almost the same with my story before I got married. My wife smokes and dresses like queen Latifah and also sleep over in my house cos she was still a student then, my mum felt irritated about all these and told her not to come over again...My mum is a Jehovah witness, so you can imagine. She continued coming and I continued sneaking her in not the house and funnily whenever my mum decides to stay in the house throughout the day, she goes hungry throughout that day cos I would have gone to work and all she does will be to remain quiet in my room, no access to the kitchen or the sitting room and no noise making or answering phone cos Mum must not hear. So fortunate for her that Mum travelled out and after some years we got married but I stopped all those habits before getting married to her. I stopped the smoking habit and the manner of dressing....we have two kids now and 14 years up the ladder together and Mum has come to love her also......that's just the way it's with Mother's.....so caring and seems to know the best for their son even though they might not......

You are just like me before I woke up to reality. We hate to see people in financial pain especially when we have barely enough to help them. You need to learn to say NO and also to give what you can give and not what they demands from you. Forget that loan story that would pay back. Who pay back in Nigeria? Even if eventually pay back, either short payment or bastardised mode of payment. Personally, I have written off some millions of Naira taken from me as a loan.....these are loan that's ought to be paid back in just two weeks plus interest but 4 years on the line, no payment and debtors will even refuse picking your calls....drag police into it was another problem, police siphoning money from me to arrest, to mobilise, logistics etc....got tired and name it a bad debt....that's the story of Nigeria situation, people borrow even with good intention of repaying but business is really bad and uncertain in Nigeria.....Take care OP....You are good and rare.....

I feel your concern with the security lapse Nigeria has degenerated into. Lagos is still more safer than any other states in Nigeria presently and again Uber is very safe even though you still need to be safety conscious.

E-hailing rides are atleast 80% safer than the usual cabs that doesn't have identity or profile and you can take care of the rest 20% safety protocol yourself by been very careful. Good luck to You and stay safe while being in Nigeria.

Hi guys, I need experiences from people flying into Nigeria(MMIA) Lagos.
My family is not going to be able to meet me at the airport this time and I am weighing up my options with transit.

I have a friend who said he knows someone that does transportation that he can come pick me up and take me to an hotel, however I am a little skeptical with that option with the high rates of insecurity in the country.

My opinion is that sometimes being annonymous to your service provider is better, but I am a little concerned with the security level of Uber in Lagos.

Are uber drivers known to kidnap their clients particularly people boarding them at MMIA ?
Can uber hold their drivers responsible if something untoward were to happen to their clients, or if they are known to connive with kidnappers etc ?

I just need experienced info and also from uber drivers to make a better decision.

Yes, very possible to use the same car you are using for bolt for uber. It's even perfect cos it makes you to be mindful always of the maintenance cos Uber doesn't joke with their standard unlike Bolt. Happy ride my brother and please be careful and be safe out there....

This is a stupid write up by the OP. How dare you assumed Uber and bolt drivers are poverty stricken cos of your gf? let me educate you a little. I once engaged in Uber driving in Lagos as side hustling some years ago and presently have fleets of cars registered under bolts in Lagos and PH. My drivers like most drivers in this bolts ride system are educated and decent people. Most do it cos of a financial challenge they are trying to overcome and some just for the fun and to keep body and soul together. I don't look down on my driver's cos I have been there and I know the KOKO.....most of these guys are decent and educated and I can bet better than you in several ways. As for your slutty girlfriend, give her more time cos I sensed she's angry that you are always faking busy by not picking and dropping her...she definitely needs you more and also warn her to stop being seductive to random guys....some girls does terrible things when alone with a guy especially at the night ...Don't trust her too much or you might regret it soon ....

Just what I intended to write. Your Dad's situation is sympathetic and made me to remember my own Dad too before he died. He was paralyzed and couldn't talk or do what he used to do before the sickness. His own got so bad that beside the paralysis, he also developed HBP and also infected kidney. All these happened within a very short time. He goes for dialysis 2 to 3 times a week and you can imagine the expenses. My Dad felt so bad cos I'm could read him and understand him even with that lost speech. He was absolutely in pain.....this is a system man, a yuppy, stylish and handsome for that matter and now seeing himself depending on people to walk, eat,bath and even to ease himself.....he was like dead but still living. Anyway, don't let me add more to the sad story....he died during dialysis and I believed he did that so as to protect us from the everyday pain cos he tried to pass a message to me some hours before the Doctor conducted the dialysis on him and I never got the message until when he died right on the dialysis machine.

Euthanasia is illegal in Nigeria but with good arrangements, it can be done and just regards it as Mercy death....that's the solution and if you are my type that regards Death as ephemeral. Then think about it but only with trusted and close family member like your mum before discussing with the Doctor. Death is short live just like lives. We transform when we die into a higher or lower being depending on our character when alive.

No good father or parent would encourage you to spend all the fortune they made through the years on them if eventually they become vegetable or allow you to exert all your own resources or even stop living cos you are trying to gather resources to take care of them despite the facts that the sickness is beyond redemption. Death always the end. Therefore, why turning a whole generation of descendants into a recluse poverty stricken family.

The hospital would make it faster and easier. I think they'll put him to sleep first, then inject something that'll stop his heart. Thereby, he wouldn't even feel anything.
