I didn't have card so I needed to transfer to her from my opay I informed her and she gave me a monie point account for the transaction. So, I did the transaction and it went successful... I showed her the receipt, she checked her POS machine and responded that the money has not entered I thought it was based on network so I needed to be patient for a little while...after waiting for couple of minutes, I asked her to check again, this time around she went straight to her account balance and I saw that the money was not there...
I was worried, so I requested to see her transaction history, she was already advising me to go to bank and make complaints. I insisted on seeing her transaction history. She reluctantly clicked it open and I saw my name and amount with a pending transaction status tagged on it, out of curiosity, I clicked on my name and it opened to an interface with two options "accept" or "reject" transaction...when I asked her to reject the transaction let's see...she horridly seized the POS machine to herself immediately. Then I suspected that something wasn't adding up. That was when I created a scene people gathered, I explained to them and they forced her to accept the transaction... immediately she did the money reflected in her account. I collected my money and walked away thanking God for saving me...
Now, what actually happened was that, the POS machine has been preconfigured such that whenever a transaction comes in, the operator would need to either accept or reject the transaction before the money can reflect into his/her account...once the transaction is pending, their next line of action is always to persuade you to go to your bank and make complaints. Should you adhere to that advice and leave, they accept the transaction in your absence then change their location the next day.
Moral lesson: Do your transactions with trusted agent only especially when it has to do with huge amount of money...and always pray to God before leaving your house .

living2013: A bodybuilder in Bosnia live-streamed his ex-wife’s execution on Instagram before embarking on a shooting spree, killing two others and then himself.
On Friday morning, August 11, the man, named as Nermin Sulejmanovic, posted an exceedingly distressing video on Instagram, assuring viewers that they will witness a murder live.
The footage then shows him drawing a rifle and firing a round into a woman’s forehead. In the footage, the couple’s baby daughter can also be heard wailing.
Sulejmanovic, 35, admitted to leaving the infant alive.
‘I warned everyone that it would lead to this,’ the alleged murderer subsequently stated. She has been keeping my child hidden for eight days.
‘I’m getting ready to load my weapon and continue on.’
Sulejmanovic worked as a fitness coach but was also a gang member with many convictions for acts of violence, fighting, and drug trafficking, according to local media.
As police began looking for him in the aftermath of the broadcasted murder, the suspect posted another video on Instagram, claiming to have shot at least two other people while fleeing.
According to a police statement issued in the northeastern Bosnian town of Tuzla, three other people were injured before the killer ‘committed suicide after being identified and before being captured’.
Police did not immediately provide any additional information, but they did say that anyone who left supporting messages when clicking on the man’s Instagram posts on Friday will be questioned and potentially face legal consequences.
‘I have no words to explain what happened today in Gradacac,’ stated Bosnian Federation Prime Minister Nermin Niksic.
‘In the end, the murderer took his own life, but no one can bring the victims’ lives back.’
Authorities did not immediately provide any additional information or suspected motives for the shootings.

EmperorTolson: Daredevil armed robbers on Thursday 5th of August, 2021 stormed two banks in Iree in Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State killing a yet to be identified person believed to be a student of the Osun State Polytechnic located in the town.
The incident happened in the afternoon according to an eyewitness account.
The source said that immediately the armed men arrived in the town, they shot sporadically into the air to scare the passersby and the occupants of the two banks, UBA and Access Bank, where they carried out their operation.
Customers who were at the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) stands were said to have hurriedly left their transactions undone and ran for their dear lives.
Unfortunately, one of them believed to be a student of the institution was said to have been hit by a stray bullet fired by the robbers.
As at the time of filing this report, information on whether the police had made an arrest or not is still cloudy as the police spokesperson’s line was not going through.

George Galloway, a member of the British Parliament between 1987 and 2015, says President Bola Tinubu, whose victory in the February 25 election is being challenged in court, lacks the moral standing to speak out against the ongoing coup in the Republic of Niger. Mr Galloway, famed for his brutal candour, asserted that he only recently learnt that Mr Tinubu was a bagman for mafia and drug dealers. He said these were discouraging attributes for someone tasked with leading a country.
“To my absolute astonishment, forgive my ignorance; I had no idea that this man was a bagman for the mafia and the drug dealers in Chicago, Illinois, which doesn’t seem like a great qualification for the leader of Nigeria,” the former British MP said in episode 263 of his podcast, Mother of All Talk Shows (MOATS), aired August 9.
“These people are now talking about democracy in Niger; many of them don’t have the leg to stand on, do they?” Mr Galloway said, throwing a jab at Mr Tinubu’s so-called moral compass to condemn the coup.
The candid MOATS host said Mr Tinubu was still defending himself against a barrage of allegations that he rigged himself into power at the presidential elections petitions tribunal but continues to parade himself like someone upright to criticise the Niger junta.
