The thing is all these APC people in these comments will wish they had voted LP moving forward. The results go talk. LP go dey build where dem dey because they have something to prove, while people go dey dodge bullet for where APC dey.

I don talk am before and I still dey talk am again. If GRV run for Anambra, we go vote am. We need MIT brains at the helm of affairs, let others dey pay agbero their commonwealth.

Politics / Re: Zamfara Man Born In Owerri Has Right To Become Governor In Imo State - Igodye by webizone(m): 11:57am On Mar 14, 2023
I mean, he's not wrong because if he's good and the people love him, of course, he will be elected. Same goes for Imo indigenes born in Imo or elsewhere.

However, the problem lies in the institutions in Nigeria which is very weak. Like, if he, as a governor of the state begin making unlawful policies, can he be impeached?

If he commits a treasonable offence against the people of the state can he be arrested and prosecuted?

So, you see, it is in light of the absence of strong institutions in Nigeria that makes people suspicious of somebody who may be from another place making policies that would be detrimental to the people.

This is why Benue state is so easy to attack and why they always vote APC:

I have lived in Benue, and I can tell you for a fact that the place is VERY LARGE and the people are living in HUGE UNDERDEVELOPMENT.

These are the two big reasons why.

They live in communities so far apart, that it is very easy to overrun them very quickly because they don't get back up quick enough. Coupled with that, they are usually farming communities, just looking for what to eat from their lands.

Their roads are terrible, thereby making policing difficult. Network connectivity there is also one of the poorest in the country as well, so digital forms of security is also difficult. Education there is poor too, so technically sound people from there are few.

These things also make it easy to rig their elections too, and there's few to challenge it. So their attackers chose well, no doubt.

The Benue situation is a classic case of Stockholm syndrome, when the oppressed is so psychologically brainwashed that he ends up loving his own oppressor.. we can definitely made a valid argument that the black man suffers from acute low IQ, look at Zamfara for instance...a state ravaged by bandits and the worst poverty index of its kind under the APC govt, yet they still voted the same party that has ravaged them for 8 years...at least some few Northern states finally woke up and voted out APC (Kastina tried).

As for Benue, the less said the better, your Plateau brothers are far smarter than you lots and understand the concept of self-preservation, Benue is the only state in Nigeria ravaged by the worst records of concerted fulani genocide on its indigenes in recent years under APC, yet here we are again. I wish them the best but they might as well start negotiating which lands they will share with the Fulanis cause things are about to get really bad for them.

This election has proved it that Igbos are coward..

Deep down their heart, they're not happy SS voted for tinubu, but they don't have such gut to call them out for betrayals. This is why they're calling out only wike, just to use him as bait..

Bayelsa
Akwa Ibom
Rivers
Delta

All voted for tinubu. So ask yourself, why Wike?

The other day, a pastor from SS origin told the Igbos in Lagos to leave. They couldn’t face him, it was yoruba they’re calling names grin

Despite that SS is nearer to SE, the Igbos have never for once called Delta a No Man's land. Why? It is because the Niger delta didn't give them such liberty..

Kano, just like Lagos is filled with all Nigerians. The Igbos for once have never called Kano a No man's land. Why? It is because northerners didn't give them such liberty..

The west is the only region that gave Igbos much liberty and this is why the west is the only region they're showing Shege. Had it been we placed them where they belong eversince, all of these wouldn't be happening..

I'm sure if Tinubu is from the SS, lord knows Igbos can't say a word!

Liar. Even my SS girlfriend support Obi pass me. Talk wetin u know, make I talk my own. You want to pit SE against SS, abi? E no go work. We don see all una hand finish. It will be a big shame when your principal is disgraced out of office as una no wan get sense.

Kobonaire4:
No, Obi lost the election

He lost it because of two things...he became the Christian and Southern candidate, and secondly and most importantly, he did not focus on the North.

Let's start with the second point. You cannot win an election in Nigeria without getting at least a significant portion of the vote in the Northern part of Nigeria. You cannot. Even Obasanjo knew that...that is why he focused a lot on wooing Northern politicans when he was in power, and even GEJ knew that...that is why he campaigned heavily in the North.

How did Obi do in the North. Badly. Very badly. Note that Tinubu did not win every state in the North, but he did win second place in many states in the North. That gave him at least 25% in many parts of the North...which when it came down to the wire....was very crucial.

When we kept on shouting that LP should get followers in the North, and should do active mobilization, people came and were abusing us to high heavens. Well, see how the poor campaign turned out. At the eleventh hour, the LP state chairmen were already predicting doom and gloom. They knew. Not enough mobilization, nothing.

And then let's be honest. Religion plays a part in Nigerian elections (which is why Tinubu ran to mosque to show face). LP , am sorry to say, made Obi the christian candidate. And they did that by being so abusive, and so insulting to Muslims...note...people whose votes you need....to the point that people thought that Obi did not like muslims. And the LP supporters REFUSED to listen to Obi when he told them to pipe down...they continued. Meanwhile, Muslims have ears and eyes. They heard, they remembered and they came out and voted.....and at the end, we lost a large chunk of votes that could have gotten Obi somewhere....because some jokes think that abusing religion works in an election.

Yeah, call a Muslim boko Haram (the same Boko haram that has killed many of them, and kidnapped their children), and all sorts of abusive languages..in a effing election year, and you expect victory?

(Remember why Buhari lost 3 times? Because in 2001 he came and said that he was going to impose Sharia on all Nigerians. Christians remembered, and never forgot...and it hurt Buhari well well...until 2014 when he woke up and changed strategy).

At the end, any LP supporter that comes and says they won the election , Im sorry, but until the evidence proves it, ye are just talking nansense. (And in this case, if the evidence proves LP won....when all the INEC documents get examined in court...I will be happy to eat my words, as I want APC out completely.) The honest truth is that to win elections in Nigeria, you need to be like MTN and you need to stop abusing people's religion and people's tribes and calm down. And you need to form alliances and stay in a big party.....because if Obi, Kwakwaso and Wike had not been so ego driven, and if Atiku had not been so 'I must be president in my lifetime'...APC would have been losing, and Tinubu would have been screaming that he was cheated out of victory .

Next time, let the opposition run as a united front. And don't attack anyone's religion or tribe for gods sake.

Really? So all the wins in North Central is not an indication that for Obi to have zero in other parts of the North it is manipulated? Are you saying there are no NC indigenes or even Igbo living in these Northern states?

Are you not aware that, usually, in some Polling Units in the North, people don't vote but you will get a single INEC official thumbprinting through lots of ballot papers at a go?

Are you also not aware that INEC itself declared that so many local governments in the same north will have no election exercise conducted there? How come there are now results?
