helinues:Another one desperate for tribalistic back and forth lol. My condolences but you’re getting none from me. I love you too ❤️❤️❤️ PS: be careful I hear hatred can be addictive ❤️ |
ekolobaba:You are so desperate for tribalistic tension lol. Sorry I don’t have it for you so go and engage someone else for your fix Me as I dey like this I love you die ❤️❤️❤️ |
This man is always twerking for attention |
Lol is this real? |
Faiththatworks:Where is Buhari’s blessing? 💀 Abi that APC failure too much to shallow? 💀 |
SAAAdeboye:I just want to understand if this is the type of leadership that Kwankwaso believes in? Because Nigeria can not afford to allow another incompetent strongman even dream about being president ever again after the monumental failure that was PMB |
seunmsg:Oh they certainly have a case of rigging and literally every Nigerian knows that including you lol But it is very hard to prove because the rules favour the physical copies that were manipulated. I’m an Obidient who thought LP had a good chance before the election but I’m now convinced APC could very well have won (on a second ballot) without rigging. Thankfully APC’s thuggery now means that PBAT has a weak mandate and that’s a blessing to us all because the last president was given a strong mandate that made him arrogant in his incompetence. God bless Nigeria ❤️ |
Workch:I have similar issues with fellow Christians on this side. I believe it’s okay to encourage other Christian’s to live Christ-like lives but for those who aren’t saved that really shouldn’t be a focus at all because ultimately the Bible says you can’t be saved by works alone. Focusing on the sins of non-believers is kinda pointless because even if they stopped sinning entirely but still don’t believe then they still aren’t saved. Christians do have a duty to spread the gospel though but I believe that is through their lives, testimonies and prayers rather than judgement and focusing on the “bad behaviours” of non-believers Christianity is one of the easiest religion to disprove, however it's difficult to disprove the existence of a god. I am even bothered about disproving one because it doesn't matter to me.I disagree, I believe Christianity is the most fundamentally sound religion but I’m obviously biased. Even putting my personal conviction aside, I’m convinced you’re underrating how hard it would be to disprove the existence of the God that Christian’s believe in, as well as Jesus who Christian’s believe is God and is the only way to salvation. Christians are judgemental and very annoying. Most times they think their is the universal truth and they want you to live by the rules of their Bible. It's where I start having problems with them. They think that they know all and their Bible answers everything when it's obviously not true.I agree some Christians can be judgemental and it’s really not useful at all because like stated earlier there is really no reason to be judgemental or try to control the behaviour of those that don’t believe. That alone won’t save them according to scripture anyway so it’s pointless and the wrong angle to take. But I believe irreligious people pick on Christianity because it’s the most fundamentally sound and that tendency also fulfills what scripture says about persecution being part of the Christian experience but I don’t expect you to buy into that if you’re not a believer I live in Lagos, I have not seen a Muslim trying to convert me, I can't count how many Christians who have done that. And the wa they go about it, they make you feel like you are living a miserable life without Jesus. That's annoying and it's why I don't fancy Christians. That’s simply because scripture encourages Christian’s to spread the word to the ends of the earth. If you can accept that Christian’s truly believe that all men have sinned and falling short of the glory of God and that Jesus is the only way to salvation then you can appreciate why they would want to share this message to the people they love and care about. So while I don’t think it’s helpful for Christian’s to try to force non-believers to live their lives in a certain way, they are certainly expected to share the gospel i.e. the story of how man fell from grace with God and how Jesus was sent to save us. They will also inadvertently share why they believe this (their individual testimony) If you don’t believe any of it then I can see why it would be annoying. It’s as annoying as pro-vaccine people pushing the jab on anti-vaxxers (I’m not taking a side on the vaccine here lol just an example). Ultimately we all have to tolerate each other ❤️ |
ogododo:Good. Would be concerning if the people of Kano were comfortable with their Government declaring buildings “illegal” without court judgement and demolishing them at a whim If anything it is the demolition of buildings bought by private citizens in good faith without any legal process that is “illegal”. Anyway these type of politicians should never ever be allowed to enter the federal government. Nigeria must never make a mistake like the incompetent PMB and his failed administration ever again |
Iceberg3:The northern leaders that gave us the incompetent arrogant failure that was PMB and supported him for 8 consecutive years are now irked by PBAT for no just reason, other than appointing competent people to run the country for once lol. Doesn’t that speak volumes. Yet everyday on here all you’ll see is tribal nonsense between southerners. And if we’re being honest it was started by Tinubu himself as evidence by most of his people engaging in the same nonsense on twitter from way before the election till today. So I have little sympathy for him. PS: PBAT has done well so far. His weak mandate is a great blessing to Nigeria. The last president had a strong mandate and that fuelled his bigotry |
BigBlackPreek:PMB finished the country with his ineptitude and incompetence but it’s “that region” that is your problem lol If Soludo decides to contest I’m sure you’ll find a reason to hate him too. I don’t doubt your creativity ❤️ |
DMerciful:Okay sir sorry to disappoint you ❤️ |
DMerciful:Okay sir please show me how to be more Obidient lol ❤️ |
Workch:I don’t believe in any “all powerful pastor” my friend, I believe in an all powerful God. It’s cool that conclusive empirical evidence is your style but that’s not how the Christian faith works because it is individual. You won’t be able to disprove any persons individual experience to that person because they experienced it and you didn’t. Faith is individual. If someone was physically healed from a disease they were told was incurable there’s not much you or anyone can tell them to disprove their testimony. Showing them a video of a pastor who couldn’t do healings in a laboratory set up by atheists won’t change a thing to that person. Their faith is individual to them. I doubt many Christian’s are trying to make their faith a universal truth. If so they would be in a lab doing experiments with pastors rather than sharing their individual experiences. They share their personal truth which can help others find this individual truth too. Ultimately Christian’s believe it’s God that saves. You can’t logic someone else into faith unfortunately which is why I’m not really trying to do that here. Just explaining how I believe it works But people of faith also have a right to influence law, culture and norms just like everyone else. We are all being “subjected to” each other to use your own phrase. Most people believe murder should be illegal. In a democracy it’s perfectly okay for someone to believe that because of their religion and someone else to believe the same for another reason. |
Workch:I think you’ve misunderstood the general point of my message lol I’m not trying to give you evidence that God exists. Maybe read what I wrote again. My first line pretty much admitted I can’t. I’m saying that I believe faith is individual for everyone. I didn’t expect you to take what I wrote as conclusive evidence lol. That’s not how it’s meant to work. But you also can’t disprove the testimonies that many people have experienced first hand. |
senatordave1:Lol we’re slowly learning in real time Obi is still in court so let’s see how that goes. I can’t see much hope for him unfortunately because it’s Nigeria but also because it’s very difficult for him to prove he won the election like he said. I still support him and while there’s plenty evidence that the election was rigged in favour of APC I haven’t yet seen any conclusive evidence that Obi won the election outright. So his best hope is for a rerun or a disqualification of Tinubu (both seem very unlikely to me) In some ways that is also his best hope for 2027 and beyond: Another four party election where PDP and NNPP field heavyweight northern candidates. He will have to try to get into the second ballot against anyone other than Tinubu because Tinubu is strong in both the south and the north while Obi is very weak in the core north So even if Obi somehow manages to unite the opposition (NNPP, PDP and LP) against APC, he will still struggle. The incumbent effect is real too. I watched so many polling videos before the last election and one thing that surprised me was the number of unexpected people that admitted they voted for Buhari in 2019. Pretty sure there’s a psychological thing where some people just vote for the man currently in charge. The power of the office will also give PBAT advantages. So I’m not that hopeful about an Obi presidency anymore but let’s see. Ultimately I’m very happy that the current president has a weak mandate because that is forcing him to work. Buhari had a strong mandate in 2015 and that made him arrogant in his incompetence. PBAT is clearly far more competent than PMB but is also under real pressure from the ongoing litigation to perform. That is good news for Nigeria ❤️ |
Workch:I’m not sure there is scientific all conclusive evidence that God exists. I don’t believe that is how God intended “faith” to work. There also isn’t scientific all conclusive evidence that God does not exist. Now many Christians have their own personal encounters that is enough for them. Imagine experiencing what Paul is described to have experienced in the Bible. That would be enough individual evidence for many. It certainly was for Paul. These testimonies are not enough to conclusively prove to everyone that God exists but they do encourage others who then go on to find their own individual experiences and faith. I’m sure you’ve heard many testimonies and while they obviously won’t prove anything to you try put yourself in that person’s shoes next time. For me I’ve also found that the Bible is more correct about many things (inter gender relations, tolerance, attitude under subjugation, etc) than the mainstream ideology atheists tend to subscribe to. I used to buy into many liberal ideology (e.g. blank slate theory) that majority of atheist in the west subscribe to. But I’ve realised many of these are idealistic thinking not built on truth. And finding the truth has led me back to the scripture and God. Life makes a lot more sense now and I could not be happier Ultimately Christians can’t answer all the questions. Paul himself admitted in Corinthians that “we only see a reflection as in a mirror” and we only “know in part”. We don’t have all the answers and that’s okay. It’s not like science can either |
senatordave1:Fair enough. I’m now on the same page tbh |
Peter Obi closed his case without calling a single polling unit agent? Is this a Joke? https://twitter.com/ThatIsokoLawyer/status/1672289506584608790
What’s the point of calling a polling unit agent for “he said she said” nonsense? |
senatordave1:Not calling you a liar but if someone read your posts here they would think you hated Obi more. Just the way it is as it’s those two candidates that have the most presence online. Tinubu’s supporters have acted much worse if you asks me |
ThatCEO:Because I said it was admissible shey lol Just setting the record straight as regard to wikipedia that some other people mentioned my bro |
senatordave1:Most BATists people hate Obi deeply too, far more than Atiku. It's a natural consequence of their bruising battle in south (which has a heavy social media presence) before and after the election. As the 'winner' Tinubu should be doing his part to unify the country but based on the behaviour of his people online he has clearly chosen to go in the other direction. He can't blame anyone other than himself if that backfires |
respect80:It has been there for a while, since March 2021 at least. Possibly much earlier Wikipedia history is open to all
|
ehissi: keymatt:Wikipedia history shows the name has been on his profile for a long time, at least as far back as March 2021 (possibly much longer).
|
Fulaninigger:He is positioning for presidency in 2031. Tinubu didn't officially hold any office from 2007 and now he's president. Buhari didn't officially hold any office from 1985 until he won in 2015. Vying for presidency is a full time job in Nigeria. El Rufai must be worried about Kwankwaso which is why I believe he made those controversial comments about MM ticket in Kaduna and nationally. He is battling Kwankwaso for Buhari-style popularity in the core north with the sort of messaging that is popular there (it is what it is). He will put forward his competency to the south when the time is right (looks like the southern population tend to care more about that than religious sentiment). It would be interesting to see if Kwankwaso declines any ministerial position PBAT offers him too. Kwankwaso would be well positioned to lead a united opposition in 2027 depending on how PBAT's administration goes. It would be easier for him than any southern candidate against Tinubu. It's probably why Tinubu is trying to bring him closer. |
Reinaldo:Indeed. The African lion would stand little to no chance against a Grizzly or Polar Bear |
Penguin2:They should continue the rhetoric If Peter Obi loses in court I doubt he will run again in 2027. Even an idealist like him knows he’d struggle to beat an incumbent Tinubu especially in a two party race. In that case I’d bet good money that Tinubu’s main opposition in 2027 would be a northerner and if that northerner is formidable in the core north then the shift in tone of Tinubu’s foot soldiers towards the SE will be dramatic By then it might be too little too late |
StreetFight:A Northerner could very well be the main opposition contesting against Tinubu in 2027 Tinubu’s people could very quickly find themselves changing their tune towards a particular region if that opposition is formidable enough in the core north If PBAT continues performing I’ll personally be obidiently batified because lord knows the country can’t survive another round of PMB level of incompetence but the stupid games some Tinubu supporters are playing on here and on twitter could very quickly backfire |
