flokii: Reason I never supported Obi from day one, never even considered him as an option at any point because of his role in killing our local industries with importation..
What the incoming GCFR needs to do is increase the import duty and levy of certain items to like 85 - 90% to discourage the importers and then stop anything import duty exemption except for machinery that we can't fabricate here in Nigeria.
Nigeria will work by fire by force.. You prefer to kill human being instead You think inflation is just an economics term lol As bad as Tinubu is, I’m convinced that he too would reject these closed-border policies implemented by the worst federal government in the history of our country. He can’t afford not to |

To lessen confusion and chaos, rules and processes exist to keep societly orderly. You get Straw man argument lol If everyone does it correctly they will get identical results. They are legally allowed to analyse public information too |

BluntCrazeMan: Good Morning Nairalanders.
This Thread is for all the people who are eager to see to the end of the results as they were Uploaded into the IREV-Portal..
Many people had earlier asked me how I was going to do the Collation of the IREV Results. The truth is that,, we are many,, and we still need many more people, so that the collation can be concluded as quickly as possible.
It is a Collation Engine, and a lot of people are needed at this very moment in order to “CONVERT” the data from their original photo-format to “Categorized Text” data, which the machine can easily collate.
To join in the Collation, go to this link below:
https://forensic.nigeria2.com/
It is very easy. You don't need to sign-up in order to start.
For more information, find Mark-Essien on Twitter. (https://www.twitter.com/markessien)
THIS IS A CALL FOR A PATRIOTIC HELP.. PLEASE DON'T FEED WRONG INFORMATION INTO THE FIELDS PROVIDED
The Photo Below was released after about 60,000 RANDOM polling-units had been collated.
So please, help us to finish the Collation as soon as possible.
And for those people who are advising us to use “Data Extractor” Apps, and “Text Recognition” Apps.. The truth is that: these Apps can make mistakes. These Apps can change 141 votes to 41 votes. Which is strictly not acceptable in this particular case.. Amazing work here. Thanks for sharing. God bless you ❤️ |
Politics › Re: 3 Possible Basis For Court's Upturning INEC Election Declaration by wegevv: 9:46am On Mar 09, 2023 |
PointB: It's no news that INEC declared Mr. Bola A. Tinubu as the winner of the Feb' 25th elections. Sequel to that, some presidential aspirants have approached the court to examine sensitive material used in the election. This is a precursor to filing appeals for a redress. While we don't know exactly what the various party will be asking for, however based on several commentators on the matter, notably Former Attorney General, Mr, Michael Aondoaka, one can see the various possible angles for upturning the pronouncement of the INEC chairman.
1. Inconsistence in announced and transmitted results.
A notable inconsistence between belatedly transmitted and announced result was recently circulated online. It was the case of Obi Akpor LGA in River State, where LP were clearly short changed in favour of APC. As citizens statisticians continued to pore through results uploaded on the INEC IREV server, expect more of such inconsistences. The potential for this to reduce the number allocated to the supposed winner, while swelling the number of the supposed losers, is a very important result of this. Lagos, PH, Benue, Plateau, Akwa Ibom, are among states where the LP might garner more votes than currently announced for them. And extension, APC losing more the lead margin. Debit APC, Credit LP,
2. The Conjunctive Clause 'AND' FCT
Never in the history of Nigeria's checkered electoral history has AND assumed so much importance than now. English scholars, quasi-lawyers, and professional lawyers all however, seems to agree with the former Attorney General, Mr, Michael Aondoaka, that AND FCT is a conjunctive clause, implying obtaining 25% FCT votes is the NO 1 requirement of the election (in a manner of speaking). Incidentally, the APC candidate Mr. Bola A. Tinubu did not meet this basic constitutional requirement. It's an understatement to say that INEC hastily announced him winner, in the dead of the night, even before the first cock crow.
3. Electronic (Non) Transmission of result It's not necessary to go into the nitty-gritty of the electoral law to determine whether transmission in Realtime is mandated by the law or not. What is important actually is what the electoral body established as part of the electoral guideline. Without gainsaying, the INEC Chairman severally announced, in different fora, that the result will be transmitted in Realtime from the polling station. This is the understanding of the candidates going into the election. Did INEC transmit the Presidential Result in Real Time as stipulated in their own guideline? NO. Clearly this is like a case of dribbling the candidates and electorates. INEC broke it's own rule. This is clearly a major reason for upturning the result as declared.
That said, what is expected of the three main candidates as this unfold?
First LP - Obi
Mr Obi will definately argue that he be declared winner of the election, based on number of votes cast, cos it's most likely the recomputed results will favour him
PDP
It's in the interest of the PDP to go for a re-run, as they might likely come second, when all the illegal votes might have been stripped from the APC candidate.
APC
APC will either push for total cancellation and fresh election, or argue for the court to overlook all those infraction, and continue with business as usual, as there is not precedence for upturning of a presidential election by the court in Nigeria. It is not clear what they will opt for.
Citizens
Waiting with bated breath, Great analysis but… On the FCT thing I think that is done. I was one of the people that started questioning that requirement on here, even before the election, and still believe that the English written in that section requires 25% in FCT. But it turns out the courts have already previously made an interpretation so they will likely go with that precedent I’m pretty sure this is why you won’t here LP or PDP argue injustice on that basis. That one looks to be settled unfortunately |

Jones4190: 1. Before they start misleading you that Peter Obi did something that no one has done in our political history, let me educate you.
In 2009, feeling betrayed by his Party, ANPP, then General Buhari, formed CPC from the scratch with nothing. INEC approved the registration on 28 Dec. 09.
2. With that Party GMB contested elections in February 2011. He won 12 states, got the threshold of 25% in 17 states, and got 12,214,853 votes, which is 31.97% of the total votes cast. No opposition has performed that well in any election in our history except in 2015 when the same Buhari
3. now of @OfficialAPCNg defeated Jonathan. It was during that election that Datti Baba-Ahmed used Buhari's photo to win the HoR elections.
So while Buhari formed a party from d scratch with which he did so well, PO joined an already existing party. Labour has been winning elections.
4. The current DSP, Omo-Agege got elected into d Senate under LP, Gov. Mimiko got elected Ondo state governor under the LP. So go check d results of PMB and PO and see who did better.
The problem is most of you think Nigeria started existing when social media came into existence. This is why it’s a waste of valuable energy conversing with some people that view things differently. Because you can twist narratives and words to frame things however you like A former President and military general teaming up with dissenting members in his party, many of whom were also already in power to create a new party just to have a different leadership, over 2 years before the election, is not the same thing as what LP and Peter Obi did But you already know that. You’re just dishonest. Do you though ❤️ |

Politics › Re: How Obidients Set 6 Million Crucial Ballots On Fire by wegevv: 5:07pm On Mar 01, 2023 |
Nwaetche: You are talking nonsense.
PDP is supposed to zone the presidency to the South and even microzone to the South East but the argument of folks like you was that an igboman cannot win election in Nigeria.
Obi jumped ship and use an unknown party without any structure to perform even a par with a fulani man on a well established party with structures across Nigeria. Even as LP candidate, you wrote him off and as featherweight who cannot make any meaningful impact. Kwakwanso with the same mindset as yours even called in Andrews liver salt.
What does this election show?
1; It shows that an Obi as PDP presidenatial candidate and possibly with a Kwakwanso as VP would have won with a landslide.
2. Above all, it shows that anyone irrespective of your ethnic background can win an election if he/she has program that resonate with the masses as well as track history to run on.
Even with his structureless party, the ruling party has to rely on massive, primitive and crude rigging to win the election. Obi is relative young in nigeria political parlance and would one day make it as I see him as a determined individual who geniunely wants to serve his people and his country.
So stop yarning nonsence. As much as it pains me to say this, the truth is that Kwankwaso would lose his cult like status in Kano and nearby areas if he ever accepted to be VP to Obi. He is as popular as he is in those places because he is the type of person that would never accept to be VP to an Obi. It’s sad but it’s true. So your hypothetical scenario is just not founded on reality. Obi can’t inherit Kwankwaso’s votes Atiku also knew he could not convince the core northerners that voted for him to vote for Obi. Not right now anyway (and maybe not ever, who knows). Obi had a slim chance because Kwankwaso and Atiku were also running. But even if the election was fairer I suspect he would have fallen short of the spread like the polls predicted and lost a runoff against Tinubu anyway. Where I’m not completely sure LordAdam16 is correct is that PDP would have easily beaten APC with Obi as VP and no LP. The campaign would have played out differently and Tinubu could have transformed his “emi lokan” cry to a southern message. But since 1999 the South has ruled for 14 years and the north has ruled for just 10. Obi could have used that messaging to try and convince the SS and SE to be patient. Tinubu’s MM ticket would have made it easier too. We will never know how that would have played out but in hindsight it does feel like a PDP with Atiku as President and Obi as VP would have had a much stronger chance than LP ever had. Big lessons for all of us from this election. Anyone but APC ❤️ |

Who were the PDP VP candidates in 2019 and 2023? Are they not Igbo men.
Ekweremadu that is languishing in a UK cell was DSP for 3 consecutive Senate terms. Anyim was SP and SGF. Jonathan and Obasanjo did not marginalize Igbos.
Be patient, allow us to retake power and manage VP slot. Una dey form strong head. Na Amadioha go punish una.
You rejected Vice President-Elect for Presidential Candidate.
Tinubu that is President-Elect today, did he not beg for VP in 2015, before handing it to Osibanjo? Just to get to the center. I don't want to be diplomatic: You guys are F**LS! That's the obvious truth.
North will not share votes in 2027, 2031, and 2035. We'll see how you'd use 6 million votes to win Presidency. Anuofia!

DeOTR: It's limited to 2021 which means the bot "cannot give accurate answers to queries that would be connected to events after 2021", so what's your point? The model was trained from sources like Wikipedia, books, news articles, scientific journals and git repositories. Again, it was trained on available wrong submissions like the ones being peddled here and there by your likes. Does it make an authority to explain our law? No. I use the chat bot daily and I know about it better than you do. Again, how does "25% in 2/3 of 36 states and the FCT" come to mean "25% in 2/3 of 36 states and 25% in the FCT"? Even a Mathematical model would represent that statement as 0.25 * (36 + 1). We're talking about matter of law interpretation in English, you're bringing an answer from a bot that most probably got trained from data from Wikipedia. How ridiculous? Again, the English language meaning of that section is simple. The AI chatbot shows that. My project example shows that. Ask 100 English scholars to interpret just that section and virtually all of them will say the same thing. You need 25% in FCT. So the burden is on you guys to prove that the constitution meant something else. But in terms of English language from that section. The meaning is clear. Replace states with something else. Replace FCT with something else. The meaning is remains the same PS: I like how you tried to pretend that you knew the data only went up to 2021 when you basically said the opposite in your previous post lol. pquaver: English here is clear.. But English context gives its meaning.. FcT is like a state in Nigeria with special status.. 36 states and FcT... FcT is inclusive in the " 37 states" of Nigeria. Do u now get it.. No I don’t accept that. FCT has no gubernatorial elections or Governor. It really isn’t a state. I understand the argument you’re making but I could also say that FCT was given special status here because the President appoints the minister that governs it. We have to respect what the constitution says in plain English and not apply reasoning from outside it ❤️ |

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Wins FCT Presidential Election by wegevv: 12:21pm On Feb 28, 2023 |
LordAdam16: I don't think there will be a run off.
No President has failed to get 25% in the FCT. So this legal dispute has never cropped up before. But the Courts can interpret it any way they choose. Since the Tinubu camp seems to hold sway in the Judiciary, they should get a favorable disposition. He got 25%+ in more than 25 states.
That said, if some states are canceled, we might head to a run off, regardless of judgment.
Unfortunately, the law is also not clear on who goes to runoff. The Aso Rock cabal and powerful Northern and Southern interests will want it to be between APC and PDP. But the APC camp will want it to be between APC and LP. Obi will sweep the South and part of NC, but the core North will vote Tinubu en masse. Not even Atiku can convince them to vote Obi. That's when you'll start seeing 1.5m votes from each Northern state, although the South can play that game as well.
-Lord Let's be clear though. There is only one English language interpretation of the constitution. There should be a runoff But it is not beyond APC to rig that too Anyone but APC ❤️
