Greatsteps: I think the Lawyer will do well to ignore this surveyor. As you can see, this man is a distraction. I am richly blessed by our moderators education.
I want to ask a question though. My question is:
A) A bought ten plots of land at Oke Agbo, Ikorodu. I need the Land as farmland but meanwhile I want it surveyed. Please what range of Surveyors fee should I prepare for?
B) Will the fees be cheaper if I request that the 10 plots be lumped together and not separated plot by plot? Please I will appreciate any education in this regard. grin

LOL. U r just too impossible. I am a distraction indeed. Thats why you are asking a lawyer what fees a Surveyor should charge. You are funny. oops - kindly ignore me o. Next time you need the services of an engineer - ask from a lawyer how much he should charge. LOL. Some people need to go back to primary school.

I have seen a sick, bedridden American whose last words on earth were that he was proud to be American. I do not know any up-and-doing (perhaps the opposite of bedridden?) Nigerian who maintains that he is proud to be Nigerian!

Lie - How many Nigerians have you met on their sick bed? How many Americans have you met on their sick bed? How many Nigerians have you asked if they love their country Nigeria?

I have never in my life seen a Nigerian flag in the private residence of any Nigerian. According to the grapevine, Nigerians do not feel they owe anything to their country and/or government, no wonder they exhibit a persistent disconnect between them and the symbols of their country, Nigeria.

How many Nigerian homes have you been to? Lie.

Politics / Petrol Marketers And Artificial Petrol Scarcity - When Will This Stop? by werepeLeri: 8:59am On Aug 15, 2012
There is petrol scarcity in Abuja because the filling stations have decided to hoard fuel because of sallah - when will this craze for money stop? Yesterday, the filling station in front of my crib in Abuja had fuel, in fact they were hardly selling due to non patronage, but alas, this morning, the queue is as long as anything. They are deliberately creating the queue to make money, according to them, it is salah time. When will this stop?

Murtala Airport is a shame. Two months ago they were doing manual check-in because FAAN and a company were having a dispute. It took hours to check-in. Horrible airport. You still have to pull your shoes and walk the dirty floor barefoot for screening.
Officials and check-in staff are always in your face demanding money. "goodday sir, anything for us?" " oya do something, today na weekend ."

Even at Heathrow - you have to remove your god damn shoe- even if it is made of gold.

As expected - Nigerians rubbish anything that seems to praise sing the country Nigeria. Yet many of them has not even left their cocoon to compare what Nigeria has with anything else around the world. How many of them don even enter MMA before self? Soon enough, they will be saying Ghana's airport is better than MMA - when in fact, the Accra airport is not even comparable to MMA2, the local wing of MMA. How many airports worldwide have they been to? None.

Politics / 449 Candidates Jostle For Jonathan’s 100 Scholarship Slots by werepeLeri: 9:19pm On Aug 14, 2012
ABOUT 449 first class graduates from various universities across the federation on Monday, sat for an aptitude test meant for selection of candidates for the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for innovation and development.

Executive Secretary of National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Julius Okojie, who supervised the conduct of the test at the Chams Plc, an ICT firm, in Abuja, said 449 candidates were shortlisted, having met the selection criteria.

He disclosed that a total of 100 best candidates, who would emerge from the test will be awarded the 2012 version of the special scholarship scheme.

Professor Okojie, who emphasised that the selection criteria was purely based on merit, also debunked claims from some quarters that the criteria used for selection was a deliberate policy to marginalise some of candidates from certain parts of the country.

He clarified that the scholarship was for only students, who applied and those qualified were shortlisted for the test, stressing that, the Commission went as far as outsourcing an ICT firm to conduct the test, in order to free the exercise from any form of abuse.

He said: “That is why the membership of the committee of the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme comprises a professor each, who made first-class from the six geopolitical zones, so, there was nothing like marginalisation.”

He said the scheme was part of efforts to create manpower towards actualisation of Vision 20:2020 and the government’s transformation agenda

He said, “the Federal Government has plans to develop a critical mass of professionals, who will serve as catalysts of change and agents of scientific and technological advancement.

“This sustainable economic development will be achieved through the sponsorship of outstanding students for postgraduate studies in the top 25 universities in the world,” he said.

floriana: It is so disheartening watching the so called African 'Independent' television A'I'T these days. The most annoying programme being Kaakaki where the two weak presenters reason and talk like 5th graders reminiscent of kidivision 101 of those days. It is pretty much like what we witnessed in the days of the military when the '30M viewers' of NTA were fed thrash. Has NTA and A'I'T merged or what is really happening?

whats d point? Judging a whole TV station by one single programme is utter nonsense.
