There are also those who may give correct prophesies but it doesn't mean they are true prophets: Isa 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? Why should we go to those prophets? Should a people not seek unto their God? But now the question is, How do we know they are not God's prophets? So when you see someone whose teachings depart from the Bible, it is because they don't have the testimony of Jesus Christ,they don't have light! many events, miracles etc are not in the Bible but all our doctrine should be based from the Bible: 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. The pattern of things in heaven is very clear in Revelation 4 and 5. No saints, No Mary. Where did you get the idea that Mary can hear your prayers? She is waiting for the judgement like any other person who lived and died on earth. |

His arguments that TB Joshua is a prophet is not based on sound doctrine but on feelings. The Bible says there will be false prophets and they will deceive many. On another thread I have asked you to describe the ones you know even if you don't mention them by name. You mentioned Pastor Kun but I'm asking about the false prophets that are deceiving many, not an individual on NL. If you cannot identify false prophets by their fruits, then tell us if you agree with the Bible on the presence of false prophets in the Church or keep quiet, otherwise you can expect those who can identify false prophets to do so. Read Revelation 4: It shows the pattern of things in Heaven. No Mary, No Jesus. And then Revelation 5 reveals the Lamb of God, The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David. Why didn't Revelation 5 describe Christ as the Son of Mary. Why in the 22 chapters of Revelation there is no Mary? Because: Mat 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! Peter did not discredit Paul. Jesus did not discredit Paul (He had a chance in Revelation). Paul's teachings came DIRECTLY from Jesus. Act 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. If you want to discuss anything to do with Christianity, why do you want to set aside part of the Bible? 1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. My advice to you is that for each topic that you do not understand, open a thread and ask a question and we will correct you. Apart from that, I think you could look for a forum of "like-minded believers" to discuss with. Most Christians here believe in the whole Bible. Google "Paul the false apostle". That will lead you to people who will be able to discuss the Bible and what it says about marriage and sex, excluding Paul's teachings. However, if you want to try one last time to understand Paul's teachings, open a thread for each topic and MAYBE we will answer. Maybe, because I think you are intentionally trying to derail people by raising silly issues. |

If there was a church that could have rejected Paul, it would have been the Corinthians. Ironically, it is the Corinthian Church that was rebuked the most for fornication. He could have seen anything but let us remember that[b] even Satan has transformed himself into an angel of light[/b]. He could have seen satan in the form of an angel in order to deceive the masses that an atheist went to heaven as you guys are speculating now. I don't know where he went but it doesn't help to speculate and it doesn't matter what he saw because even Satan can transform himself into an angel of light. |

They are not wrong. The last days started with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The last days started when God started speaking to us through His Son. Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass[b] in the last days[/b], saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; In Matthew 24, the Lord Jesus Christ prophesied not only the end of the world but the future of the world. We take it for granted that there was World War I and II, earthquakes taking place all over and diseases everywhere and the gospel has spread through all corners of the world. These are things we take for granted but only God could know those things. They are not the end of the world but the future of the world. The end of the world is: Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. That is the time when everyone will be expecting Christ and many will be deceived with signs and wonders: Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. The scripture was written for Christians, to be used in conjunction with other scriptures. It was not written for the Islam courtrooms to defend Christianity. It was written in a way that it can confuse those who were not ordained to eternal life: Isa 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Christians obviously understand, in the light of other scriptures, that they will not receive many wives in this life or in heaven. But they will have many houses, brothers and sisters and mothers in the Lord. There is no such thing as wife in the Lord. I don't know what you guys want the scriptures to say but there's no hint of polygamy in Christianity. neither in this life nor in heaven: 1Co 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. |

my brother, i am truly happy that u no longer suffer from anxiety but you stated that God "healed" you but the anxiety wasnt completely gone how can the almighty God heal someone and the person still remains the same? truth be told, it was the medical and psychological treatment you recieved that helped you gradually overcome your anxiety.No, I suffered from a serious case of anxiety disorder for 17 years. How would I know the difference between the demonic anxiety that I had and the normal anxiety that people who don't have anxiety disorder experience? The medication only[b]controlled it[/b]. That's why the psychologist expected to see me again the next year. He knew that it takes years to treat such a condition. I saw him in those 5 or 7 sessions in the space of three months or so. And how do you explain what I experienced as being filled with the Holy Spirit? The only explanation I can give you why "the anxiety was not completely gone" is that anxiety is something that we all experience to varying degrees in our minds. However, a demon of anxiety (linked to demons of fear) can also insert feelings of anxiety into one's mind. Once that demon was cast out of me by the Word of God, I continued to experience the normal anxiety. Anxiety is a cycle when you experience it once that experience will become the feeder for the next anxiety. You are basically anxious about anxiety. I know that I am a new person because previously if I was in a shop and I heard an explosive sound, I will react with fear as everyone else does or even when I come close to being involved in a car accident. But now I get a different "vibe" in those situations. I am more calm, no rush of blood, no thumping heart. I have overcome all fears, even the fear of death. You are able to find holes in my testimony because I am telling the truth. If the aim was convince you I would have ommitted to say that I still experienced anxiety for a while. But my intention was not to tell convince anyone but simply to answer the question "Who has experienced a miracle" And remember the miracle is not that I no longer suffer from anxiety. The miracle is what happened on those two consecutive nights. Not at the psychologist's room but in my room while reading my Bible. |
