It is amazing how the term "SEMITE" refers to people belonging to several ethnic groups, arabs, Akkadians, cannanites and jews included, but the term "ANTI-SEMITE" is synonymous to those who hate jews alone.
I don't hate people for their ethnicity, I hate ideologies (wahhabism, zionism ect ect)

The JF-17 is not a MIG-21 hybrid. Shape, aerodynamic design, power pack and avionics are different.

The JF-17 has a confirmed Air-to-Air Kill, the JF-17 was part of a strike package that bombed India in operation swift resort. The JF-17 carried out numerous CAP missions after operation swift resort. The JF-17 has carried out multiple CAS and bombing missions against the Pakistani Taliban and other terrorist groups in Pakistan.

On the origin of the JF-17, it is a joint project between Pakistan and the CATIC group in China. China owns all the IP certificates, and is in fact the OEM of the JF-17.

On the back of the Chinese aviation industry, the JF-17 which shares a lot of components from the J-10 has considerable support. It is not a Pakistani plane.

The F-7 was a stop gap plane, it was never intended to replace the MIG-21. The JF-17 fulfils NAF capability for a modern light multi-role combat aircraft.

The JF-17 can be equipped with Aselpod advanced targeting pod, providing NAF with high performance electro-optical reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting system.

The JF-17 is can also be equipped with Indra ECM pod.

Pl-15 advanced BVRAAM missiles and High Precision air to ground bombs, dumb bombs & similar JDAM bombs.

come to think of it must all countries bow to Democracy? what if they have better options and it works for themhuh
Apply this same logic to the laws he is abolishing ? Are the laws working for the people of that country or not? Are they happy with the abolishing?
Are their own laws not more successful in curbing crimes than ours?
Why is he "reforming" the laws? Is it only to appease the western world or certain set of people?
Foreign AffairsRe: Saudi Arabia Abolishes Flogging As Punishment by Whyem15:
Good, but when will they abolish monarchy and move to democracy? Or when will they stop sawing people to bits in their embassy, or when will they s :-Xtop jailing activist, or when will they stop blowing yemeni school bus and starving the yemeni people?
The crown Prince's has been decieving the word with the sham he calls reforms so that he will be accepted and supported by people all around the world. For close to five years now, he has only allowed women to drive, allowed women to enter stadiums and abolished flogging. If he is serious about reforms, he would have released the thousands of political prisoners he jailed because they dared to criticise him. He would have stopped the war in yemen and he would have renounced monarchy and called for elections. He should stop being an hypocrite.
Laws are changed by Parliaments or popular referendums in the "civilised" countries he is pretending to emulate, not by a de facto leader. We will never know the public opinion of the saudi people but thousands of people who hates other people and see other peoples' cultures will come here to masturbate.
Some peoples defination of "civilization" is European culture, anything outside of that is uncivilized to them.

Foreign AffairsRe: How American Forces Will Crush Iran Decisively In A War by Whyem15:
All that Iran needs to do to win such a war is to sink enough ship in the strait of Hormuz that will make passage for any ship impossible without damage to the hull of the passing ship. It is easy and Iran is more than capable and willing to do it. That alone will destroy world economy and I wonder how a US president will survive that. Even if Iran is subdued after that, it will take years to either clear the strait for oil tankers to pass or construct pipeline from Asia to Europe where it can then be shipped to US.
This will happen in future because Israel will push a stupid US President to do it. US will collapse and Israel will be the new world power and Iran will be destroyed. That is Israel's plan for US.
Christian Evangelicals support zionists because Christians believe that the jews must dominate the middle east and the world (third temple prophecy) before Jesus returns,
Jews believe they have to dominate the world for their own messiah that they've been waiting for to come and they can't do that on their own so they are using Christian Evangelicals the same way Christian Evangelicals are using them.

You would've sounded smarter keeping quiet than this obtuse explanation of yours.

A negative oil price means that offtakers no longer buy a particular blend of oil while producers continue production leading to stranded vessels that can't be evacuated.
Its a rare occurrence because hitherto, producers halt production the moment offtakers decline orders.
He is actually right. All US storage facilities are filled up and drillers are willing to offer money to get their oil stored up. It is only the US shale that has fallen beyond zero. This partivular type of oil is produced in the US

You sink ships and boats and shoot down aircrafts.
This is just an attempt to raise the price of oil. The fear of war with Iran has always lead to increase in demand for oil and thereby increase in price. It won't happen. Trump had is best chance to go to war with Iran in February, he wasted it for obvious reasons. Now is even a worse time.

Priorities bro, no one is invading our airspace neither does any of our neighbours have aircrafts that can dominate our airspace. When we have enough money and have satisfied all pressing needs, we can start feeding our "wants".
A multirole aircraft will do for now. Ending this bokoharam insurgency is topmost priority. After that, we can focus on detering our neighbours and their masters from thinking about invading or land grabbing. Then we can start getting platforms that will make them know we can r*pe them with ease.

They should just deploy a surveillance drone to follow the terrorist that retreated and keep monitoring their movements and intercepting their communications. They will locate almost all their hideouts in little time.

I don't think the NA media team is so dumb they will release statements like this if it isn't true.
A toddler can do better lying.
I am also not saying it is true but a lot of things could have happened. Maybe the terrorist had time to evacuate their wounded and mostof their weapons before retreating. Maybe our soldiers took the weapons for theirselves and didn't report it. The memo said they initially hought the killed 10 of the terrorist but later found several other bodies.
Count the number of weapons they reported to have been captured and see the correlation.

You are right and wrong. The drone you are talking about is multi role too. It can carry either armaments or surveillance equipment. So, when the Boko issue is gone, we can use the drones to keep an eye on our borders, or loan it to the police to track bandits. And in case of invasion, these drones can do a good job of either bombing the invading army to bits or performing a reconnaissance mission.
The airforce doesn't have much aircraft. But can you ask them what happened to the Jaguar aircraft we bought a few decades ago and why they were allowed to rot. And why maintaining platforms here is incredibly difficult.

However, they are buying the JF-17 and that is multi-role enough.
Quick questions, can the wing loong fire air to air missiles? Is it capable of taking on interceptors and other aircrafts some of our neighbours posses? What is the probability of it surviving the air defense systems of our potential enemies?
What is the max payload it can carry, how many bombs will it be able to drop before returning to base?

If we have excess money and already has aircrafts performing other roles, why not? It is even advisable getting it.
Note: transferring armed drones to the NPF when they are only using the helicopters they have for VIP transport is an irresponsible thing to do grin

Weapons procurement is not entirely based on current threats. Future possible threats, deterence, and countering enemies capabilities are also considered.
Buying 50 wing loong drones for $50million sounds like a good idea and would really help in the fight against bokoharam but considering the fact that the airforce doesn't have much aircrafts.
Are we going to deploy 50 of those drones if we get invaded by any of our neighbours? How effective would that be? How useful will they be in future conflicts that we might be facing? Does it go in line with our strategic plans?
Personally, I would prefer we have much multi role aircrafts first before we start getting dedicated ones.

What do you want me to say bru? There are bad people of all Races, just because you nitpicked a couple of examples doesn't mean every single Boer is like that. Even in Apartheid you couldn't just kill Black people for sport, in terms of the law Back people and White people were "equal" and I say that with quotations for a obvious reason. Thus if Farmers shot his worker for sport then according to the law he was supposed to receive the death penalty, whether that happened or not is another story!

Secondly since I must acknowledge the atrocities of white people, when are you going to acknowledge the atrocities of Black people?
The way non white people talk about racism ehn, you would think they are meek people who haven't perpetrated genocide.
Yes the whites perpetrated genocides and atrocities and should be called out for it but when are we also going to talk about atrocities perpetrated by blacks on blacks, Arabs on blacks, Hausa's against Igbo's and yorubas and vice versa. The point is that humans are just horrible and tge powerful will always attempt to prey on the weak.
Before the transatlantic slave trade, blacks were enslaving eachother. The old Oyo empire enslaved thousands from ethnic groups they conquered. Same with every other ethnic group that was powerful. We treat ourselves like trash and expect people of other skin color to treat us with respect. Few years ago it was South Africans versus other African nationals, now it is Chinese treating all Africans like shit.
Demanding for apologies won't change anything, we should rather learn from the past and prepare against whatever is to come in the future.

You may loose your head.

But if from the start thier formation is wrong, the vehicles soft and armoured aren't in any formation for defence or attack.

Just all vehicles bunched up, as if they decided to stop for lunch and were all of a sudden taken by suprise.

Then confusion and chaotic responses will take over.
You can fire an RPG while kneeling.
One RPG fired by the terrorists on one of the vehicles and most of those men are lost, this is what happens when they send guys with basic infantry skills alone to the frontline. I wonder where the 72 MSF guys are.

Is it expected from trained soldiers who are taught to take cover from a position where they can return fire immediately , change positions even under fire , maintain situational awareness while under fire, defend their positions even under blithering fire , take the offensive even under blithering fire , retreat / withdraw safely while under fire etc.

If soldiers can't do that , they have no business being soldiers. A soldier will always come under fire.

Reason if they don't do that they will get themselves killed and sadly they will get their comrades killed too.

There is a gun i always see in Chadian convoy, it is mostly manned by two persons and does not look like the regular AA Gun i see.

I dont know if that is Shilka too as i am not so good in knowing hardwares.
They use a certain antiaircraft cannon with two barrels, don't know the namw but it isn't shilka, shilka is self propelled, the one the chadians use is mounted on light utility trucks if I'm right.
It is the earlier version of the shilka- ZU23 2. It uses 2 barrels and isn't self propelled while the shilka employs 4 barrels and is self propelled

Cameroon recently ordered 300-350 of the ZSU 23 shilka(check Wikipedia), it is very cheap and hundreds could be delivered in a short period.

We need to employ more RCWS too.
Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Whyem15: 8:17am On Apr 16, 2020
It is because this strategy has been effective against few number of soldiers, that is why they have been attempting to use it on large numbers of troops. That is the only reason they've been killing large number of of Nigerian and chadian soldiers. Watched a video on Henry's thread where general Adeniyi was recording a video for his superior, from the video, it could be infered that the same strategy was used against them and they had to call for air support. It is not every time that the aircraft will be available, they should do more about countering this strategy themselves.
Also more wheeled vehicles should be deployed has the general reported they've had to change several hilux tires tyres, we have a lot of assets in the head quaters of other divisions of the army that will help a lot, I don't know why they are not deployed.

We just need to get lots more shilka guns and improve the armour, that beast was very effective when they were used, I know that some of them were destroyed, I don't know what happened to the rest.

Guess you are talking about suppressive fire
That and more, the soldiers were lying down because lots of bullets were being fired towards their positions, it is normal human nature to avoid danger, it can also be used against the terrorist. If they are given the notion that those soldiers won't stop resisting, they will reconsider their strategy. If enough bullets is fired towards their positions too, many of them would seek cover.
That is exactly the reason why one of the soldiers was asking why they haven't fired RPG. If about 50 RPGs were fired by the troops towards the position of the terrorist, trust me it will have a psychological effect on them and they might retreat.

Firing their weapons sporadically while being flanked, without seeing what they are shooting at? even if they did.
Why does that sound like a bad idea.
I mean, so they run out of bullets, then what? I would think that's the point you conserve your ammo, not waste it
The terrorist won't move unless they are sure the soldiers are helplessly pined down. If some of the soldiers shoot continuously towards the direction of the first attack, terrorist not seeing them would have the impression that the troops are more than they estimated or might have been reinforced. There is no point in conserving bullets when you are being surrounded.
Militants in the Syria and Iraq who are in supporting the government's fight against ISIS have been the most effective forces in the fight because they employ these terrorist tactics and are always on the offensive.

I may be wrong and would want to be corrected but a toy drone from Ali express would help in knowing the direction the heat is coming from and helped save lifes almost effortlessly.
The use of different kinds of drones for surveillance in this war can never be overemphasised.

The video is proof that our troops will always be at a disadvantage when on the defensive. Take the war to them, isolate and neutralise continously for months, let intelligence agencies together with law enforcement search every liberated settlemets for those among them who will have joined civilian population waiting for the military to leave before regrouping.
I don't know whether the military doesn't interrogate those among the terrorist they catch. Most of them Won't talk without being made to but I trust the boys to know how to handle cases like that.
We just need to change our strategy in this war.
