Everyone is looking at me like I'm gonna pop anytime soon. My husby practically worships me now , if I cough... Ghen gehn, if I'm eating and I sigh..... Corner eye, I want to pee, he will be looking at me funny...I'm not even allowed to settle fight between my 2 older kids cos he doesn't want me shouting
If baby now kicks hard or BH hits and I squeeze face, he will be like "what are you 2 doing to yourselves there?"
If I venture call him when he is out of the house, he will soberly answer the call..... I be like... Dude chill, baby isn't due for another 6 weeks, don't go and get hbp before then.

And so the Prince decided to show face yesterday 9th September as against 6th Sept scan gave us....weighing 3.5kg via VD no tear.

I'm so happy and grateful to God for this journey, for the grace to be happy enough to overcome my fears and try again. I'm really overjoyed! For every mama battling with loss or ttc, Jehovah overdo will address your cause!

At first I thought it's too early to register not until I saw someone announcing that she is May team. So I hereby come out of my closest. I am a first time mama and in team May by my calculations.


So I started taking folic acid a month before conception, was told to add vit B complex but I don't like the smell so yet to buy it sef.


I'm a pineapple lover but having read from posts here that it's not too good, I will stop it for now.

I feel free no stress only the heaviness of my breast(I hope it reduce sha because it's too early to carry the load upandan )

Now I can't say no to Oga, bedroom matter is almost everyday. I hope it's safe.

Carry go mama. But if you feel pain or some discomfort at any point then press the pause button.

Join me in thanking the lord for answering my prayers sisters.
My ttc journey for a second baby started in april after my first turned a year & six months in March.
As usual we bd in may but my period came, in June I bought omega 369 nd started taking till ovulation nd I stoped, my period still came.

Then in July I hd hormonal assay done because even
after weaning my baby, I still bring out milk when I press, the result came back that my prolsctin was a bit high with 30, I placed myself on bromegon nd had a hvs done which revealed a scanty growth of staph, I treated it with cef iv, my period still came even though we bd.

Then came August, I decided to let God be God by stoping all medications, I prayed my rosary everyday, visited the blessed sacrament in the chapel nd attend weekly masses, we bd during ovulation nd after I started taking vit b complex one tablet morning nd evening, zinc tablet 20mg daily for ten days nd vit c I000mg and Viola !! I missed my period. I tested today circle day 29 nd saw two red lines staring at me mamas.

It means Big Fat Positive sweetheart. Congratulations and like the other mama said, do a blood test tomorrow or wait until Monday to do it for confirmation.

The second line will keep getting darker as the days go so if you don't want to do blood test, you can do another urine test after some days for a darker line.

Lord you are so merciful. It is indeed a September to Remeber our GTC sisters. More BFPs we ask Lord!

Good morning mama's. Happy rainy Friday. Pls, when is it safe for a preggy mum to start taking pepper soup and pineapple juice or fruit?

It's best to steer clear of pineapple especially it it's your first time as it may dilate the cervix. Body differs and it might not affect you like it did not affect my co wife. But better safe than sorry.
Wait until 36 weeks.

For pepper soup, I started taking mine from 1st trimester. The difference is that I made them myself and so I only added uda, ehuru and uziza seed in minute quantity and it was mostly catfish pepper soup.

If you must, it's best you prepare it yourself as joints and bars may use those ingredients in large quantities which might not be too good for you.

Got to the bustop bought suya 200naira stood at the mallams place and ate it bought rice and went back home this was around 9.30pm on Friday
Immediately I got home I felt cold all of a sudden I called my elder sis she said I should rush down to mums place in case of anything we both can go to the hospital since hubby was not around still no pain. Just carried my cross bag and left for mums place immediately I got there my gigina started aching me no waist pain my contraction was 2mins apart cause I was calculating it thinking it will be like 30mins or so but before I could say anything the contraction just kept on coming non stop my mum just said she should go call a mid wife around to know if we can start going to the hospital
She came back in split seconds with the woman the woman told me to lye down only for her to check me and she saw the baby's head she just told me if I have the urge to push I should go ahead that's how my miracle baby came out with no tear just like that. I give all glory to God for safe delivery and for locating pregnancy thread which helped me through out my pregnancy journey.

Thank God with me as my baby boy arrived this morning. It was not easy but it was worth it. All glory and honour to God. Mum and son are doing great.
