The high cost of credit is due to how the monthly allocation is paid out to the 3 tiers of government.

The dollar earning from crude oil sales is dished in naira to the 3 tiers of government.

So, let's say the government pays out $2b this month. The government will pay out $2b x 360= $720. If it's $3bn, then $3b x360= N1 08trillion..

These payout leads to excess money in circulation which can lead to high inflation. In order to subdue inflation, the CBN increases interest rates high enough to mop up excess money. Since the CBN rate is the benchmark which is high in double digits, commercial banking rates too will be high.

Soludo wanted to change the system and end the excess money by paying the 3 tiers of government in dollar certificates which can be converted to Naira at commercial banks. This does not lead to any excess money

Better,it is as if dollar is now chasing Naira and will firm up the currency. And best of all, since there's no excess money in circulation, the CBN can end it's tight monetary policy and lending rates will begin to drop.

However, the governors didn't like it and YarAdua sympathised with them. Remember,it is redeemable only in Naira and not dollars.

This is also Henry Boyo line of thought too.
I hope we have a govt that can give this idea a chance ....
Maybe it will cure the excess money problem facing by CBN for a decade...

I have learnt not to take all these international/world agencies serious. Most of their predictions always fail to hit their target.

IMF wanted Nigeria to take loan with a lot of conditions (e.g, increase tax, removing subsidy, privatizing of some national assets, etc), Nigeria rejected their offer and they predicted we were going to have problems. Less than two years of their offer and prediction of bad outlook for our economy, we bounced back and have actually done far better than anyone expected.

On the other hand, Greece and Argentina listened to IMF/World Bank and both countries keep sinking since then.

So, pay little or attention to these agents of doom.

You should focus on the message....
How will a country move forward with large infrastructure deficit, acute power supply shortage and security challenges.....
Just tell me exactly what PMB is doing about the above listed problems.....

In all honesty, i had always known that Dany was going to turn mad, the excuse of doing what is necessary doesn't cut it. Thankfully, the show writers proved me right. I have my reasons....

1. Ever since those dragons matured, Dany has been burning people everywhere. At first, it seemed like she was the savior of the world, so a lot of fans didn't pick the clues that the writers were dropping. The burning of Sam's father and brother was a very strong message about a potential Mad Queen.

2. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Dany was hellbent on ruling the seven kingdoms at any cost, which is why Varys was bothered about her state of mind. Remember that Varys served under the Mad King, and a lot of others after him, so he clearly saw similar traits between father and daughter. Jon's refusal to be King made Varys even support him the more.

3. Dany rarely made decisions herself, which made me believe she wasn't worthy of being queen. She was excellent at saying 'Dracarys', but when it came to the major decisions that didn't have anything to do with execution....there was Ser Jorah - King of the Friendzone -, Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, Missandei, Lord Varys.

4. It wasn't necessary to burn down Kings Landing with all the innocents in it, but she made up her mind to do so because they didn't love her and to spite Cersei. Isn't that madness?, the children on the streets had absolutely nothing to do with the power tussle.

5. When she told Jon to hide his true identity, it was clear that insanity was already rising in her. She was desperate to rule the seven kingdoms and was going to do it at any cost.

Please your opinion is needed if you have done the business before. Keeping money in the bank is riskier and meaninless as they only debit you at every giving chance than to add interest to your money.

Storage biz is simple ....
You buy during harvest period & store.... when price has crashed.
You sell when price increase....
Be prepared for the risk...
if price crashes below the purchase price...
Or if price remain stagnant.... for too long....

I don't quite agree with this notion of yours.

If there's one thing I've observed, is that the night king is a coward. And like all cowards, they usually hide behind others.

Jon wasn't his primary target, yes we know, but this same night king stood his ground facing Dennys dragon until she used fire on him. Why didn't he command his undead to come to his aid. I believe he wanted to prove a point which is he's immune to fire.

If he could defeat Jon Snow. The night king would have stood his ground and face him regardless of whether Bran was his primary target or not. Don't forget, Jon wields a valerian steel sword which proved to be deadly against the night king. I believe that why he raised the dead to battle Jon.

The night king is a first class coward.

Discretion is a better part of valor .....
