I know we all have the fairy tale dream of meeting the love of our life, falling madly in love, getting married and having kids. Some have even visualised the number of kids - two boys and two girls.

However, we must all face the hash reality that not everyone will get married or even have kids.
As such everyone of us must have a backup plan.

My plan has always been to adopt a child even if I get married , because obviously I'll be marrying in my 40's. So whether I have a child later or not I planned to adopt an older child like 8-10 years old.

So what about you, any plan B?

I think OBi is a much better choice the Southeast can produce that the rest of us will support their ambitions.

Much better than Ayim at least. I feel though it's the rightful turn of the Southeast but they should show us seriousness by presenting a credible candidate like Obi then other regions will get behind them.

The first cockcrow signifies pre-dawn. That happens around 4-4:30 am while the second crow tells the neighborhood it's time to get off the bed and hit the day...

These days however, maybe because the use of bedside alarm clocks has grown to be the common waker, it seems the 'natural alarm' has gone extinct! Or is it that the rate of consumption of poultry has rendered the Rooster an endangered bird?

However, you missed out something you just talk about rooster that is male fowl. You did not digress to native fowl or agric fowl.

Corruption is the cause of the inability of the Edo state government of governor Godwin Obaseki to pay salaries of lecturers.

Government revenue is leaking into private or individual coffers while the state is bleeding and dieying in silence.

The corruption did not start with governor Obaseki administration it is rather an institutionalized practises or conducts which had been exhibited by previous governors that ruled Edo state both military and civilian.

Corruption has been institutionalized in our governmental, private and business circles in Nigeria.

It is now an industry in Nigeria despite the effort of the President Muhammadu Buhari to wage war against it.

In the case of the Edo state government it is on record that the past governors did not save money for future development of the state.

Edo state with its small crude oil and gas should be able to pay salaries of its workers.

Another cause of this problem is the setting up of a second Edo state university in Iyamho, Edo state by the then governor Comrade Adams Oshiomole.

That university was renamed Edo state university Uzarue by the government of governor Godwin Obaseki.

I do not think Edo state needs a second state university. That is stretching the resources of Edo state as per funding and payment of lecturer salaries.

The Oshiomole administration should have jettison the idea of setting up a second university.

All he need to do was to upgrade the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

But he was desperate to provide a university for his Etsako people in Edo north even though the finance to fund it was not readily available.

Now the poor Edo state government can not fund the University at Iyamho and the Ambrose Alli University at Ekpoma in Edo state at the same time.

Politicians should learn how to manage resources efficiently by providing the dividend of democracy in terms of infrastructure, save money and use that money to develop their state.

Engaging in money laundering is a way to self destruction as a nation.

Any attempt to steal money or mismanage money meant for the development of states in Nigeria has drastic consequences for the people of the state.

Countries in europe are not that rich but the little money that comes in they manage it.
