What is governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state waiting for?

He has been relunctant for political reasons on signing the ban on open grazing into law as agreed by the southern governors in their meeting in Asaba, Delta state.

Governor Obaseki is PLAYING THE GOOD BOY FORMAT by not wanting to offend President Muhammed Buhari government in Abuja FCT.

But governor Obaseki forgot that Edo people are suffering insecurity in their farms with kidnapping going on in the Benin-Auchi-Okene-Lokoja-Abuja road.

Now Ondo state is enjoying relative peace thanks to Amotekun and the ban on open grazing.

NORTHERNERS ALLOW IGBO MAN TO RULE NIGERIA even if it is for 4 years.

I am so shocked to read in the news that governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state is campaigning for the governor of Bauchi state, Alhaji Bala Mohammed to become President of Nigeria.

We all know the careless utterances of governor Bala Mohammed especially when he threatened war against the south and southern governors for banning opening grazing in their state.

GOVERNOR WIKE WHY MUST YOU SELL SOUTHERN OPPORTUNITY TO THE NORTH AND BETRAY YOUR FELLOW SOUTH.

IF IT IS THE NORTH WILL THEY ALLOW A SOUTHERN POLITICIAN TO TAKE THEIR POSITION?

I am not against Professor Yemi Osinbanjo for the position of President of Nigeria.


But for fairness and justice the Presidency should go to the south east.

Yes they should allow an Igbo man from the core Igbo speaking states of Nigeria to rule that is a man or a woman from any of these state, Anambra state, Enugu state, Ebonyi state, Abia state and Imo state.

Why are the northerners afraid of an Igbo man ruling Nigeria?

THE YORUBA HAVE HAD THEIR THEIR TURN THROUGH, ERNEST SHONEKAN, OLUSEGUN OBASANJO, AND PROFESSOR YEMI OSINBANJO ( present Vice President )

Igbos should be allowed to become President of Nigeria even for at least 4 years and let see what changes they can bring to Nigeria.

I think yorubas have had their turn especially from ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.

I thought spinal cord injury can not be treated to enable a patient resume normal life unaided with a wheel chair.

I am wondering why musician like Mr Ayefele spinal injury is still confining him to a wheel chair.

Can't the same medical technology help musician like Ayefele?

Or is it that the situation of Ayefele is very severe?

Bashir Tofa was a very peaceful man just like the late President Musa Yar Adua.

After he lost to Chief MKO Abiola in the 12th June, 1993 Presidential election he never cause trouble.

He accepted defeat unfortunately the General Ibrahim Babangida ( rtd ) military administration annulled the election despite being one of the freeiest election in Nigeria.

President Olusegun Obasanjo did not allow this officer reach senior military rank that is at least a major general or admiral.

He just retired them because they held political appointment.

It was being alleged Obasanjo action was to create professionalism in the military. But other saw his actions as selfish and self centered.

I am sure ex- military officer like Brigadier general Buba Marwa (rtd) will not be happy with Obasanjo.

Obasanjo benefitted from the coup of 1976 that installed him as head of state.

He also benefitted from the annulment of June 12 1993 presidential election acclaimed to have been won by chief MKO Abiola.

Obasanjo reap from others misfortune.

The only time he suffered a near death situation was during his trial for involvement in coup

I hope the nairaland member who said drilling borehole is a complete waste of money and time because of coal and other mineral on the ground.

He should tell us where they source their clean water from to sell to the public.

Why can the government extend a gigantic pipe to get such water for public use

Not only Enuguooo, people living in Lagos , Irawo Community , Ikorodu LGA, ; Bako Estateooo, Unity Estateoo, Ondo str etc dobt have clean water to bath.

Water tankers that usually supply them with water at the rate of N5000 per 1000L (Pet Tank) just increased their price to N30,000 and people can get water to do anything.

People that managed to get water sell at the price of N200 per 25Litre ,
The Lagos state Government Should please come to our aid

We that live in Benin city, Warri, Sapele, Effurun, Ekpan, Asaba etc will have to thank God for free water.

You just dig a few metre deep to the ground of your well or do borehole deep to the rock you just struck water.

But this is not so in some parts of Nigeria.

The government of Enugu state should engaged the international bodies through the federal government so that clean pipe borne water is made assessible to the good people of Enugu state.

I am completely disappointed with ex-governor Chimaroke Nnamani for failing to develop Enugu water resources.

He was busy launching empty building and then fooling the Enugu people with the word TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

Whereas he did not achieve the basic thing Enugu people would have remembered him for.

During ex-governor Nnamani tenure crude oil was selling for between N100 Us dollar and N150 Us dollar.

What did ex-governor Chimaroke Nnamani did with the huge amount of money the Enugu state government received from the federal government?

Why not leave all this sectional promotion for the next government so that proper promotion can be conducted.

They know that next government will not exactly follow Buhari style of government that is why President Muhammadu Buhari is such in a hurry.

Things are happening round the world.

The Pastor even acknowledge it himself that he knows he will be criticised for doing it.

And he certainly was criticised even in nairaland.

His reign was very short and this was because he ascended the throne at a very old age.

I extend my condolences to his immediate family, the Ibadan people and the Oyo state government on his demise.

May God Almighty grant his soul eternal rest.

At least President Buhari and governor Obaseki have taught you the process for dealing with godfather.

Obasanjo unlike Buhari endorsed godfatherism where he played a key role in removing ex-governor Ngige of Anambra state for disobeying his godfather like Mr Uba.

President Olusegun Obasanjo also went as far as conniving with those who killed chief Bola Ige.

President Obasanjo connived with the strong man of Ibadan politics, late chief Adedibu to remove his godson, governor Rashidi Ladoja of Oyo state.

If ex-governor Chris Ngige is looking for big guys in Nigeria that removed him as governor he should start with Ex-President Obasanjo who played a key role in the events that played in Nigeria where governor was removed.

The Anambra monarch and traditional institution including state and local government politicians also were co conspirators with Obasanjo. I agree to some extent with ex- governor Ngige that the politicians who participated in his remover had their eyes on the Anambra state treasury.

But that is not all as I have mentioned earlier.

Even Obasanjo played key role in influencing the election of governor of Edo state, professor osariemen osunbor. The same professor osunbor as governor of Edo state was removed via court process under the government of a new president of Nigeria President Yar 'adua.

This brought in governor Adams Oshiomole in Edo state.

Oshiomole forgot the difficult road he had passed through.

Infact, he fired himself to become the CHIEF GODFATHER GENERAL in Edo state after the well-known Mr Fix it, late Chief Tony Anenih.

Thanks to President Muhammadu Buhari and the courageous governor of Edo state. governor Godwin Obaseki, Comrade Oshiomole is quietly licking his wounds maybe vowing never to attempt godfatherism in his lifetime on earth.

Tony Kabaka who was his foot solder to ex-governor Oshiomole has repented asking for forgiveness from Edo state government.

He even went to pay Christmas/New year homage to governor Obaseki.

Kabaka was presented with a cow by governor Obaseki.

Godfatherism has a bitter consequences for those who practiced it. Most times it does not work.

Even guys like Tinubu is facing challenge to his status as godfather in Lagos state.

I hope ex-governor Oshiomole of Edo state has learnt some bitter lessons from his past atrocities.

But I blame ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo who is presently over the throat of Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark over resource control and ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who failed to approve the 2014 national conference report handed over to him.

These two ex-President of Nigeria who are from the south never amended the constitution to make way for resource control or state police.

They short changed the south because of ignorance and fear of their paymasters.

They were actually dancing to the tunes of the northern oligarchy till their tenure expired.

TILL DATE, EX-PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO REMAINS AN UNREPENTANT DISCIPLES OF ONE NIGERIA WHICH IS DRAGGING NIGERIA BACKWARD.

Insecurity will continue to remain a problem in Nigeria except the northern ruling oligarchy change the template upon which Nigeria is being governed.

TODAY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS DEVALUED THE NIGERIA NAIRA which continues to go down everyday against the US dollars, British Pound and European union Euro.
