Programming › Re: [Advice] For New Programmers, what server-Side Programming Language Is The Best? by winterfell007(m): 7:53am On Oct 08, 2019 |
MountainView: It depends.
Let me tell you why I said so.
1. For web applications that are expected to handle millions of server requests, One would go for a programming language like Golang, Java, and probably JavaScript (NodeJS) but again it also depends on how you want to scale both vertical and horizontal.
2. For Web Applications that would require the aid of AI/ML, and expect to handle millions of synchronous requests, then I'd go for Python/Django together with ML libraries in Python.
3. For Web Applications that would require the aid of AI/ML, and expects to handle millions of synchronous requests, then I'd still go for Golang, Java and probably JavaScript(NodeJS) together with ML libraries in Python and call these libraries via API's written in Python(Flask).
4. For web applications that won't handle millions of Synchronous requests and doesn't require any form of Automation, PHP will do just fine.
Remember, all these depend on how you implement your server infrastructure/architecture i.e vertical/horizontal scaling.

MissyB3 I like your suggestion. I'm currently learning PHP. But some presumed 'experts' tell me PHP is a dying language and that you should concern yourself with Python, please how true is that?? |

NwaAmaikpe:

I'd never understood how men find women who don't use makeup attractive? I'd never fully understood how they'd even feel something for a woman whose face is as bland as someone being prepared for embalming.
Religious doctrines are our undoing. Nowhere in the bible was makeup outlawed. How will women who can't paint their faces make a colorful home? You are wrong. These women are a rare gem to behold, they are the diamonds in the rough in the world filled with superfluous 'make-ups' that tell so much of lies rather than truth and social media propagating to much of online fakes. I might not be a member of the church, but I must confess, I admire their principles. It gives me hope that in a world filled with so many lies, they are still real people |

johnmattew: dumb..ask yourself why Brazil moved it's capital to Brasilia and why Indonesia is do u ng the same I wouldn't know about Brazil but in the case of Indonesia, the major reason for the relocation of the capital city was due mainly to coastal erosion and overpopulation. The country needed a new land that has a higher meter above sea level |

Success1020: Typical Igbo family meeting. Go to every Igbo family, even 5 yrs old child is seated. They sit down and discuss. Their father allows them to offer their views. If the father suggests something that doesn't make sense, the children will overrule him and he will accept it. Not like the feudal system in the North, West, and Edo. Your tribal slur. You are completely meaningless if you can't make any contribution without raising any ethic sentiment |

Akanapiaigwe1: partial judgment from big brother both should have been disqualified
it happens in football in situations like this both should be shown a red card
I repeat no human being can withstand that provocation by mercy the thing is that she perfected her plan because she knew that Tacha will react come on who will keep her cool when hair is been thrown to your face
as a non-fan and neutral both should be sanctioned BBN didn't act wisely here Biggie acted fairly if you ask me. C'mon this is Tacha's third time she'll be cautioned in the House by biggie. Biggie had sanctioned Tacha twice for acting unruly and had her suspended with a strict warning that if she commits again, she'll be disqualified. Obviously, Mercy has just be cautioned once, this would probably be her second time which would warrant a suspension. Tacha is a loose psychopath and truly deserved what she got for being unable to put her attitude in check |

NoSidonLook: I think the southeast is really doing well in the football business and growth in Nigeria
then the south to some extent
Aside MFM Fc (which is privately owned) I don't think there's any other south Western club in the top tier in the Nigerian league
All hands need to be on deck for sports to thrive in Nigeria. No matter the location
I believe a good and healthy sporting atmosphere in the country would go a long way in reducing unemployment and contributing positively to the economy
Kudos to Rangers
You've started again with tribal slurs... |

Spain spends over 110 billion dollars on health. Nigeria spends 10billion dollars or less on the same health. As an example.
Let's face facts. We are not rich. Until we become an industrial nation....we are not rich. 10billion dollars on health? I'm not sure Nigeria spends up to 50million dollars on health. 724 billion nairas shared? For a country like Nigeria, that's insignificant. We need to be sharing at least 1.5 trillion a month to make any significant impact. We need to widen the agencies that bring in money to coffers of government. Make them more efficient |

Some people have more than she has yet given less than she gives.. giving is a personal thing, we don't tell people how to spend their money, that's my point. But making money out of the society, isn't personal right? I thank God Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Zuckerberg don't think the way she does. They have contributed more to humanity and they'll always been remembered even in the next century. Tiwa will probably be forgotten in a decades times. Simplyleo: There are igbos and there are igbos.
What you see here is the brainchild and handwork of the real igbos whose aim and purpose in life is to be great mostly by providing essential needs of mankind within their environment.
For instance, the white inner singlet I use is those ones sold N500 max, I don't patronize the so-called superior that go for as high as 2k. I buy at least a dozen of this my brand at a time with 5k and I'm satisfied. This is how I benefit from the Igbos and they, in turn, make their cash, no issues.
But the miscreants you see on the streets and social media calling themselves Igbos are nothing but criminals in search of an opportunity to swindle their fellows and that explains why they keep drumming for war anywhere they go because they easily "make" some cool bucks during any chaos. The looting of Shoprite in the wake of a xenophobic attack in SA is a case in point.
God bless the real Igbos.
Finally, igbo amaka. Will you stop being unnecessarily boastful. Must everything be riddled with ethic sentiments?? For your info, there are a lot of rice mills located in another region. Nothing special about this one |
