The Senate can reject or appoint any SCOTUS the POTUS NOMINATES, that is how the constitution works when APPOINTING SCOTUS.

You are just arguing with yourself. No one is debating with you who has the powers to nominate and who had the powers to appoint a SCOTUS. What people are debating is what reason did Mcconnell give for not screening the judge appointed by Obama, and what reason did the same McConnell give for wanting to screen the judge appointed by Trump now?

He is very right, nobody released the virus, it's a pandemic it was prone to happen . Pandemics had been happening since the creation of the earth, and coronaviruses had been with with us since the dawn of human history. In fact coronaviruses are fairly periodic and the world was ripe for a major one. Lots of experts including Bill Gates, had been warning of an imminent outbreak and our ill preparedness to deal with it.

An unknown number called my line this afternoon and claimed he credited my phone with N500 last night, and that I should send the credit back. I checked my messages and true there was a N500 VTU credit from about 10 pm yesterday. I did not notice because I always use special plans like extra talk, in which I credit once a month. I also always credit my account directly from my bank account, and have not physically bought credits for over 2 years.

I honestly don't know the implications of sending credits to an unknown number using one of the banking platforms - apps or USSD code. If the guys disturbs me too much, I will just go and buy N500 recharge card and send the code.

Has anyone had similar experience of someone claiming to send credit to your phone by mistake and ask you to send it back?

hi everyone, it's been long I made a post on NL.it due to tight work schedule in the quest of struggling to make a living.
This issue about SARS that is currently trending,I know a lot of Nigerians are agitating for sars to be banned,and it's seems the IG is on cause about to do it because It is on news that sars and the IG intelligence squad banned from conducting stop and search operation on Nigerian roads.
Before we jump into conclusion about sars we need to get our facts right.
*Most of these guys agitating for sars ban are all Yahoo boys.
It is a very very worrisome trend in Nigeria whereby you see young men and youths that ought to be filled with knowledge and ambition all thinking about going to HK to learn yahoo Nigeria had never been so bad like this.how can a 15yr old boy that ought to be learning a skill and reading his books be thinking of how to pick and buy Benz?

You are wrong on so many fronts that it seems you either are a SARS operative yourself or your are paid to carry out propaganda campaign for SARS.

First of all, according to the constitution, your are innocent until proven guilty. But, SARS has reversed that to you are guilty until proven innocent. SARS pronounce innocent youths guilty of cyber crimes based on age, fashion sense, car driven and hair style.

SARS has left the reason they were created, which is to confront armed robbery and violent crimes and have digressed to cyber crimes. SARS operatives are not trained in cyber crimes, so they just use their AK47s to Blackmail, extort, rob and kill innocent youths. You can't fight cyber crimes with AK47, you need to train in software engineering and hacking tools s to catch cyber criminals. Have you ever seen SARS arraign any suspect in court? They can never win a conviction in court, because first they have no evidence to present in court outside your phone or laptop which was collected at gun point without a search warrant. A good lawyer will dismiss that evidence based on technicalities - illegally obtained evidence.

Thirdly, not every youth with flashy cars and expensive phones are into cyber crimes. In this age of the Internet, many young men including teens are making huge sums in software engineering, digital marketing, website design, Forex trading, online marketing, etc. I know a barely 19 year artist that sells his artwork all over the world. He is doing very well. My wife advised him not to buy a car if he values his life and peace of mind because of SARS.

Lastly, yes I know a huge percentage of our youth is involved in yahoo yahoo, but unleashing an armed forced on them is not the answer. It's not a violent crime, and I have not heard any yahoo boys using guns and knives to rob people. What the police need is a special unit dedicated to catching cyber crimes (and I think such unit exists within the EFCC ). They need to invest in sophisticated computers and hacking software in order to monitor and gather concrete evidence of cyber crimes that is admissible in court.

Here in Nigeria where over 95% are religious, almost all the crimes of corruption, human trafficking, murder, prostitution, etc are committed by deeply religious people.
