PoliticsRe: Atiku Changed His Name From Siddiq, Earned A Masters Degree With GCE Results by wirinet(m): 12:18pm On Jul 03, 2022
GreatAxeMan:
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, says he wished to be known by his current name and not by his West African School Certificate which carries the name “Siddiq Abubakar.”
This is not how change of name works. There are procedures for legally changing your name. You just don't submit a document bearing one name and simply attach a letter stating the name you wished to be called.

According to documents displayed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Atiku did not provide information on his primary education.
Then he does not possess the minimum qualification for contesting for the office of the president in Nigeria.

The 1965 West Africa School Certificate (WASC) result presented by him identified the student as Siddiq Abubakar.
Then he needs to support the name change with supporting affidavit and other documents relating to change of name.

He also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom.

From the documents, SaharaReporters observed that Atiku earned a Master’s degree in 2021 with GCE O’level results.
What name is on the certificate from Anglia Ruskin University? Is it Siddiq Abubakar or Atiku Abubakar? What certificates did he use to gain admission into the said university?

Furthermore Nigerian journalists including Seun and Sowore should also beam their search light on the educational and family background of Atiku Abubakar and not only Bola Tinubu. What primary and secondary schools did he attend? Who are his parents, his brothers and family? where did he depend his childhood and youth? Which qualifications did he use to getting employed into the Nigerian Custom Service?

They also need to dig out his INEC forms he submitted before contesting for the governorship election in 1999 and the ones he submitted in 2017, 2011, 2015 and 2019 presidential elections.

I hope other candidates will take him to court on these grounds.

Are you trying to be a clown?

How many women discover their pregnancy status in 6 weeks how many days was Roe overturned? A week ago how do you expect them to know this and take care of it within such timeframe.
Keep quiet and stop talking about irresponsible people are you responsible yourself
This fixation on people's sexual choices is very alarming tagging it irresponsibility is clownery because married people are not spared from such realities too.
That guy is so annoying. He talks on issues he has no idea about. He is trying too hard to be a hard right Conservative. He is neither a woman or at best a doctor ('gynecologist), but he claims to an expert in pregnancy related issues. I have seen a woman go three months without her knowing she was pregnant. Very young first timers can go 2 yo 3 months without realising they are pregnant.

Asking a 12 year old girl who was raped to carry the child to term is to me the height of wickedness. The person has no soul, or has very dark soul. There is a high chance the girl will be scared for life - physically (VVF) or emotionally.

The way you people assume and throw words around without knowing who you're talking to baffle me a lot.
Oga there are countries that have developed their steel sector so much that the economies of scale they've acquired on it has made them unbeatable in the international steel market.
They can produce it cheaper and sell cheaper and make Nigeria investing on it stupid since an industrialist can always import from those countries way cheaper than he would have gotten buying from Nigeria.
You don't just go about investing out of emotions.
Steel isn't a sector that has an international cartel like OPEC that fixes it's price worldwide.
If not for OPEC,Nigeria oil would have been useless because countries like US,Saudi,Russia would have use their capacity to make Nigeria oil unsellable and useless.
We can discuss without you throwing words around please.
But we are both saying the same thing. I don't subscribe to the government throwing money away in steel plant. We have wasted enough billions of dollars. We should just import. When in talking about steel industry, I don't mean steel production, I am talking about turning steel into first machines tools and then machines and machinery and finally products. Same with plastic industry.

Easy fix, increase Chinese and India import tarriff at the ports to offset local cost disadvantage inefficiencies. cool
It's doesn't work with the Chinese. Many countries have tried that and it had always failed. Why? Because the Chinese government resort to "dumping". They reduce (subsidise)the price of their product to meet whatever tariff you place. The Chinese strategy is econonics of scale. They make profit from shear scale of production instead of price mark up on individual items. They have excellent infrastructure, very low interest rate and strict government control, its very difficult for even US and Europe to compete.

Steel mining isn't developing here because of cheaper imports of the same steel.
It's not government's place to make steel available for industry, let the private sector handle that if they can.
I also don't think we aren't manufacturing a great deal because of lack of mining capacities.
There are great nations out there that don't even have steel deposits.
How then did they do it?
Only thing they need to fix is power.
You obviously are not in the real (productive) business. Probably you are an admin person. I have undertaken many productive businesses. Steel (and recently plastics) is the backbone any industrialisation. countries use steel bans and tarrif as an effective weapon in a diplomatic or economic war. Nigeria's industrialisation was stalled because of the failure of Ajaokuta and Delta steel industries. Nations without steel deposits import from other countries.

For you to develop the manufacturering sector, you must develop the power and mining sector. Where will the manufacturers get raw materials from. Ask innoson how much has spend on steel, Dangote how much he spends to get lime stone. These raw materials should be made available and easy to get by manufacturers.

And about China, those guys are having a field day because the government is corrupt.
I now understand what you mean by mining. You mean mining for local industries as against mining to collect rent. I am still not convinced as mining is prone to abuse. Since we do not possess the machinery, technical knowhow and refining capacity to process mined materials to usable materials, we will still have to depend on the Chinese and Indians to mine for us. And you know how these people are degrading the people and the environment in other parts of Africa.

I will prefer we import raw materials from and recycle for now. There is an enormous potential in recycling old materials into new raw materials. Even the recycling industry is dominated by Chinese and Indians. I will prefer Tinubu or Peter Obi talks about building manpower and skills apart from infrastructures essential for development.

Otherwise, he will know a credit system will not work in Nigeria's current state. The first thing is to empower SMEs and provide a conducive environment for them to strive.

Tinubu is not an economist, he studied business administration. though they said he worked as an accountant.

What Nigeria needs right now is investment in the power and mining sector in order to help the manufacturers. The a massive investment in education and SMEs. Then we can start talking about car loans, who will collect the car loans? is it the millions of unemployed youths he wants to give car loan?

That was how Buhari started sharing 30k and 10k in the name of social investment. These people are not serious at all. As a graduate of Economics I feel sorry for this country anytime I see politicians bringing useless policies.

The problem is that Nigeria politicians who think they know the economy well, ignorantly use political economy policies.
I agree with with except your mention of the mining sector. Mining has always been exploitative and destructive in nature. Foreigners (Chinese and Europeans) will just continue to exploit and destroy our people and environment, while our people (governments, communities and youths) will to kill each other to collect rent. That's what has brought sub-Saharan Africa to its present sorry state.

What we need is education. Technical, entrepreneural and scientific education. We must encourage research in other to solve our own problems instead of hopelessly depending on outsiders. We must convert from being consumers to producers.

Nigeria needs more than a car loan policy.
That's why I am disappointed at Tinubu who claims to be an economist, an accountant and a businessman. He is still talking about consumption instead of production. If a civil servant takes a loan to buy a foreign car (Tokunbo for that matter), which economy will it benefit? Our importation bill will continue to rise and our naira will continue to fall.

He just used that as an example. Someone earning 100k does not necessarily have to go fo a N3.5m car. In a multilateral arrangement involving banks and FG, workers can actually obtain car loans for 5 years (60 months) and mortgage loans for 20 years (240 months) on a single digit interest rate. I'm a banker and I currently enjoy this benefit. This is what obtains in UK, Canada and US.

The man is making sense. Despise the messenger but don't hate the message. Take emotion out of it.
Are you a banker in Nigeria or in China? In Nigeria's current inflation rate alone hovers around 18%. CBN interest rate is 13%. Banks that borrows from CBN must input their running and administrative costs (before even talking about profit) before giving out loans. That's why loans from banks is around 25 -30%. So how are you able to get single digit loan in Nigeria'?

You see yourself. Until Nigeria embrace the credit system. everything will crinue to fall apart. Imagine your level of ignorance on mortgage and credit lines. Anybody earning 50k a month with good credit should be able to afford a car of 2 million naira which will be paid over the years depending on your down payment. If the system is not changed now, you will start hear civil servants stealing 3 trillion naira because you have to pay 100% for everything.
Someone earning 50k a month should be able to afford a car of 2million on credit? Are you joking? Won't he spend out of that 50k salary on transport, feeding, housing, medicals, electricity, family, etc. Will the 50K even cover his living expenses? Then when he purchase the car, will he run it on water? Will he get free service and parts for the car? If any of the Lagos Revenue collection agencies like LASMA or VIO catch him for one flimsy excuse or the other, he will be fined more than 50k.

When a bag of rice is now 35k, gas is going to N10/12kg cylinder, electricity is about N60/Kwh, petrol is trending towards N300/litre, etc, you are talking about N50k per month salary being credit worthy.

Is this the best of Tinubu? Unfortunately he's saying gibberish even after all the editing.

How would someone earning 100k afford ro pay back a car loan of 3.5 million?

Even with a credit system. It will take 100% of his salary for over 2 years to pay for the car.

Which lender will agree to such a deal?

BTw Nigeria already has a credit system. Loan apps like Carbon and Branch use it.

The next president should focus on increasing local production to strengthen the naira.
So that car of 3.5 mil can go back to the 1.5 mil it was sold 7 years ago.

TINUBU HAS NOTHING TO OFFER.
What's the interest rate? What is the CDN's interest rate and banks interest rate? At an interest rate of 25% - 30% per annun, how long will it take someone earning N100,000 to pay back a loan of N3.5million? (very few tokumbo cars cost N3.5million today.)

No we can't rest. Have you looked closely at that NYSC certificate? The name there says: "Bola Adekunle Tinubu", not "Bola Ahmed Tinubu" which he claims as his real name.

Every document this man presents has issues.
Another mystery with the name is Bola. Bola means bring wealth as against Ola which simply means wealth. what does the Bola stand for? Bola is short for something, ie. Abimbola (born in weath), Adebola (crown beings weath), bolaji(wake with wealth or born with wealth), bolanle (wealth came home), etc.

One would have expected his official documents to bear his full name, but they are all short form or abbreviations. It like someone simply bearing Ade, Ola, Olu, Ayo, etc.

Because;

The states and their legislatures says so.

The courts, up to the supreme court says so

The Republican party through its party leaders says so.

Mike pence the Trump Vice President who has the final ratification power says so

The US Congress says so

And every other American, save Trump and a few deranged MAGA cults followers says so.

Because I saw the coup execution with my very own eyes live on TV. Trump and his deranged MAGA followers distrusted the ratification of an already declared election that had passed through all constitutional process.

The problem with your distinction is your definition of God. The agnostic just like the atheist does not believe God is a Jewish man (or an arab man), with all human attributes dispensing justice using Jewish laws and customs on all.

The agnostic just like the atheist is open to the idea that a certain force might be responsible for the creation or start of the universe.
