For the record and to educate similar ignoramuses out there. Waec is a requirement for Nigerian Universities, Not all universities abroad require waec. Many foreign universities will admit you if you have alternative qualifications. Universities in the Uk will even admit you if you have absolutely no qualifications but are above 21 and have some work experience. Finally Tinubu got a high school diploma or community college diploma i. The US which is the basis of his admission to CSU. The problem with you idiots is that you ascribe you yourselves intelligence you do not posses, in the process make big fools of yourselves. Like I said it is idiots like you arguing over Buhari’s waec when the man has a postgraduate degree from the US war college, I mean how daft are you people? A man worked in executive roles for Mobil, he gained admission to Chicago state university and you think they wouldn’t have caught him if he wasn’t qualified?
You guys are just a joke!!!! Your IQ must be higher than that of Einstein and Newton added together. Since you have a copy of the high school or community college diploma tinubu used in gaining admission into CSU, can we see it? |

sammytee02: Brother, it's not about paying someone in dollars. To be neutral on this, primary and secondary certificates are not really relevant here. The highest degree certificate is the most relevant one. Fine he said some unknown people stole them - he might be saying the truth tho. We all know who Abacha was, the rest is history. He claimed to have gone to Chicago State University but the school didn't deny that fact and even said he finished with them. Also, the college he claimed he went to - not on this post, confirmed it by placing his photo on the wall of fame as an outstanding alumni for the year 2002. These are facts that corroborated that he went to those schools and wasn't lying. If you are working for Tinubu, please inform him that he will need to present these certificates to INEC before the elections. I am sure the Amaechi team will take the matter to court to force INEC to disqualify Tinubu on non qualification based on certificate and/or lying under oath. You know the electoral law allows interested parties to challenge the eligibility of any candidate. So it will profit you guys to start writing the schools Tinubu claimed to have attended for certified true copies of his certificates instead of engaging in linguistic and rational gymnastics. |

MrBlock: My statement didn't confer support for or against Tinubu. I just stated my opinion as regards to the low importance some people place on their primary and secondary school certificates especially when they have had multiple advanced degrees and decades of professional work experience.
You, on the other hand, are a sick cunt. Run along to your chauvinistic friends. I'm not here for people like you. This applies when there are no controversy concerning the certificates. After all no one is bothering Atiku about certificates. But when there are controversy concerning all the certificates a person claimed to have obtained from the very beginning, then importance is placed on primary and secondary school certificates. It's is embarrassing that in 20 years Tinubu could not present primary and secondary school certificates and his tertiary certificates he claimed to have obtained is still mired in controversy. Let him even name his primary or secondary school colleagues abi he no get classmates? |

omohayek: I'm saying being unable to produce them on demand is neither a crime, nor of the slightest relevance in assessing a candidate's eligibility for the presidency. I couldn't produce a primary school certificate if asked for one at this time, as I graduated several decades ago, and the small school I went to has since shut down with the death of its owner. Does that make me somehow a criminal? Does it invalidate my Ivy League degree?
If I were working for Atiku or Obi, and wanted to discredit Tinubu, there are far more with this school certificate thing is a Nigerian version of the "Obama birth certificate" faux-controversy, a cheap attack that allows for the expression of a dislike for a politician without admitting that said dislike is driven by base prejudice. In this case, said suspicion is further boosted by the fact that most of those pushing the story (not you) are the same ones who are certain that Tinubu is a drug baron (without any evidence other than a doctored JPEG) and who insist Peter Obi is a saint, even after he was caught setting up offshore accounts while in his second term as a governor. You are just being unreasonably partisan. I expect someone with an Ivy League degree that graduated decades ago to be more reasonable. Tinubu's certificate controversy did not start today. In fact it started the year he became governor. After he left government office someone tried to revive the certificate controversy, but was shut down by the Lagos High Court. Even though the murmurs about Tinubu's certificate down down, it did not completely ho away. Now that Tinubu has clinched the ticket of APC and on the cusp of becoming president, are you surprised that the certificate controversy are heating up again? If Tinubu has nothing to hide, why has he laid the controversy to rest for over 20 years. He still has between now and the elections proper to present the results and show people he is expecting their votes that he actually obtained the controversial certificates. I have never referred as a drug baron. I am matured enough to to accuse people based on hearsay without concrete evidence. If this thread was about Tinubu's drug past, you will not see me commenting. Comparing Tinubu's certificate controversy to Obama's birther controversy is disingenuous. Obama birther controversy was quickly shut down by Obama showing his birth certificate and hospital records showing he was actually born in the US. Even his main antagonist Donald Trump accepted and place the blame on Democrats. He said it was Democrats that first raises the issue, that he simply played along. Tinubu meanwhile has used every legal loophole to prevent people demanding and seeing the certificates. |

The Supreme Court threw out Gani's suit because of impunity. The Supreme Court threw out the case because Tinubu at that time had absolute immunity as a sitting governor. After the immunity expired one Dr Dominic Adegbola revived the case, asking the court to compel the IG of Police to investigate Tinubu's qualifications. The Lagos State High Court dismissed the case with the stupid excuse that "an application must be filed before the court, within three months when the alleged fraudulent act was detected". So you see the Zugzwang. When Tinubu was Governor, you cannot investigate his certificates because he has immunity. After he lost immunity, you cannot investigate his certificate because you have only 3 months to demand for an investigation after discovery of certificate fraud. |

Lagos – A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Tuesday dismissed an application seeking to compel the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to investigate former Lagos State Gov., Chief Bola Tinubu, for alleged certificate forgery.
Justice Saliu Saidu dismissed the application, filed by one Dr Dominic Adegbola, seeking to reopen the suit initially instituted by late Chief Gani Fawehinmi in 1999.
Adegbola had sought for an order compelling the IGP to commence investigation into the alleged certificate forgery case.
Dismissing the application, the judge held that by Order 34, Rule 4 of the Federal High Court Civil Procedure Rules, the applicant failed to satisfy the mandatory requirements of the law.
He also held that such an application must be filed before the court, within three months when the alleged fraudulent act was detected.

For once, we agree - religion is also an evil scheme foisted on gullible people by no one else than the master of lies himself - the Devil. So you are right in that "religious" people (you said theists - same to me) and their religion are also a huge part of the problem. Non theist rulers "appear" to be doing well. That is a lie from the pit of hell. Do not be deceived.
And that's the reason you should not be a part of these evil machinations, my friend. Stay clear or you'd be a part of those that will be partakers of the wrath of God that's to be poured (in full measure) on the children of disobedience! Laws that attempt to regulate things of the spirit don't work. They create more problems than they purport to solve. Examples are abound in history, eg., laws that banned alcohol, prostitution, fornication, adultery, marijuana, etc the dont stand the test of time. |

When you a call a baby a foreign thing You are setting the stage that she can dispose the baby off like a virus any time she feels like. It's all a matter of perspective.
