Richy986:The whole comparison is not flawed because everyone buys petrol at the international price and worse still countries like Nigeria buys refined crude from refineries abroad. So prices are expected to be similar save taxes and subsidies. |
SecretReporter:Those you are importing fuel from won't ask you of your minimum wage or access to finance before selling to you. |
Ezmans:In the North ke? The only law they Enforce in the North is Sharia Law. Traffic laws are non existent in the North outside Abuja. I am negotiating to buy car from someone in the North. When he showed me his documents, I saw that all documents had expired since 2016. I asked him how he thinks I could drive such a vehicle to Lagos. Mind you this is a vehicle he uses everyday. Most times even with all my documents intact, I am afraid of driving on the streets of Lagos due to Road Safety, LASMA, VIO harassment and extortions. |
lonelydora:Even thought I agree that the police were interested in the case because the victim was fulani, LASMA or any other state traffic management authority does not have the right to impound vehicles indiscriminately. They don't have the rights to even enter your car without your permission not to talk of getting into the drivers seat and driving your car to their office.

Factfinder1:Fulanis are master strategists. They have run Yorubas Street. The know why they supported Jagaban. You think Buhari does not have the medical record of Tinubu? ObJ used the same strategy with Yaradua (even though it backfired). The presidency is between Shettima and Atiku. |
Gandollar:Dangote ke? How can you compare dangote with Tinubu. Do you know how many businesses Dangote chairs? Even the refinery alone is a herculean task in terms of stress, management and finance. |
Softmirror:Tell me how many companies Tinubu runs directly. Tell me how Tinubu had been keeping himself busy and in mental and physical shape since 2007. Anyway, pray God keep us alive till May 29 next year to see how things work out. |
boldtruthalways:IBB went to Germany to treat Radiculopathy (an infection of the foot.) President Jonathan runs to Germany for even minor treatments. So Vice president Osinbajo should be commended for using a Nigerian hospital. |
Fahdiga:My broda, the Yorubas goofed with Tinubu. Osibanjo would have been a far better and less controversial candidate. He is more bold than Tinubu. He took radical actions the few times he was allowed to act as president. Tinubu can betray his own soul to gain and retain power. |
Gandollar:Oya who are his biological parents, siblings and uncles/aunties? |
Softmirror:Which strength and energy does Tinubu have? What has he done since he left office in 2007? Book he no write, business he no run, he just have fronts running his business for him. He just sleeps at home collecting 10% of Lagos IGR and appropriate Lagos State lands and properties to himself. Tinubu cannot survive the rigours of running the presidency. The Fulanis have run Yorubas Street. Heads or tail fulani wins the presidency. It's between Atiku and Shettima. If tinubu makes it to the elections and wins, he most probably won't survive the presidency. A repeat of Yaradua might happen or president Tinubu might spend most time in British hospital. Shettima would continue where Buhari left with the Fulanization of Nigeria. If Yorubas were wise they should have supported Yemi Osibanjo. He would have at least stopped or slowed down the Fulani agenda. |
RealLagosBoy:They would bring Jubril's brother from Sudan to replace him. |
TWoods:You still have a long way to go to learn how prosperous societies are built. Just because you escaped poverty, you ran away from your families and fatherland to become second class citizen in another man's land. Jews control the Media, film, financial and tech industries not only in the US but also in Europe. Mind you there are only about 14 million Jews in the world. Look at this video particularly reason number 6 which deals with community development over personal satisfaction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeSrp-7TYGY |
basilico:So this what you could dig up? An interview 3 years after the elections. No a rally speech to rile up her supporters, but an interview of her views and life after retirement from politics. They did not try to impeach Trump. Trump was actually impeached - twice. And it was not Hilary that impeached Trump, it was the democrat led house. They Democrats knew the Republican Senate can never remove Trump, they only wanted to show their own supporters, independents and non trump Republicans the impropriety of Trump's actions, for the next elections. And it worked. The Democrats would not have won the presidential election without rebel Republicans like the Lincoln project. It is same scenario playing out now. If Trump contest the next election, much more Republicans would go against Trump after the expose by the January 6 committee. I am sorry to say, you are a very dishonest person. I just pray that is is not the way you conduct yourself in real life. |
TWoods:This was an illegal business, just like 419 business. Victor provided the mule, inlaw provided the account and cover. Both have stake and share in the business. That's how 419, drug business and money laundering works. No they are not ENTITLED to any of your success. Who gave Victor the gift of football? His sister? What sacrifices did the family make to get him out of poverty? The family can make requests for help... but to go on social media to malign him is the very height of delusional arrogance. If i were Victor, that would be the end of any help i ever planned to render.Believe me a gift has to be nurtured. No baby is born that can play football from the womb. The baby even has to be born and survive first. Many people particularly family members makes lots of sacrifices for Victor to be born, nurtured, schooled and fed. Sometimes some siblings have to forgo their schooling and their career to sponsor just one of them, with the hope that the siblings will help train others. That used to the the social structure of igbo and Yoruba social structure in the past. My dad trained his brothers and sisters. When he died while i was very young, there were lots of rich uncles and aunties competing to adopt me. Today greed, selfishness and ungratefulness has taken over our society. Huh? This is an issue that is squarely endemic with the black man. Have you ever heard of Jeff Bezos siblings? Bill Gates? How many of their siblings are out there screaming that their "brother" must drag them out of poverty? We don't want to work, we rather reap where we did not sow.Do you think Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates siblings live in poverty? You think they are crying because of $20k or even $100k? This is a joke right? You need to go out and learn how Jews, Arabs and indians take over wherever the go. Go to London, Australia, US and even Dubai. They are being taken over by Jews, Arabs and indians. How? A single immigrants would come, and in less than a few years he would bring his whole family. All living under one roof and working. They buy properties together and before a decade, they would take over the whole street. Furthermore go and read about the Kibbutz system and how it help Israel develop from nothing. We blacks can't live with ourselves without negative emotions of jealousy, pride and avarice which at the end of the day render us all poorer. |
TWoods:Are you talking generally or in relation to this specific case? In this case neither the inlaw nor Victor Osimhen was entitled to the money. Then on a general case, your immediate family is entitled to some of your success. Why? Because you could not have made it all by yourself. Afterall you did not drop from heaven. Due to the poverty and lack of social security in sub saharan Africa. Most of us need family support just to survive. To feed, school, have a roof over our heads and even treat medical issues, we require the help of close family members - parents, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. Victor cannot tell us that he got to where he is today without help from any family member. Sometimes the family has to make sacrifices just to push one person out of poverty. It is often expected that the person would help other family members once he or she is made. But the reverse is now the case with the black man. Once he has made it, he immediately start seeing his immediate family as a burden and an embarrassment . He lives extravagant life and feels happy to see the family he left behind living in poverty. I have seen too many of such examples in Nigeria. In fact most families such situations, whereby one man or woman is a billionaire but his blood brothers and sisters are living in poverty. This is the main reason we fail to progress as a society, unlike the Jews, Indians and Arabs who make sure their kith and kin succeed along with them. |
happney65:I believe the justice department is scared of Trump and his violent fundamentalist supporters - ie Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and other militia groups. A Trump indictment would definitely lead to violence and social unrest. |
kenzysmith:OSIMHEN IS NOT ENTITLED TO $1 OF THAT MONEY. It for the agents that facilitated the transfer. |
TWoods:You are one of those that always defend the rich and castigate the poor or vulnerable. Why is it only the poor inlaw you are attacking and find nothing wrong with Osimhen's conduct. |
Idaytesj29:To me even £90k is too small. It should have been at least 30/70, which would have been at least £150k |
TWoods:He presented himself and his bank account for the deal. The whole business itself is 419. Victor Osimhen nor the inlaw was not entitled to anything. Victor Osimhen presented his inlaw as his Nigerian agent. The foreign and Nigerian agents were supposed to share the money. What happens if the foreign agent refused to pay the Nigerian agent his commission? Its still the inlaw that has the right to sue the foreign agent. In a 419 deal both the person that brought in the client and the person whose account is used have a fair sharing formula. |
TWoods:You people are reading the back of your phone. There is no entitlements in this case. The inlaw was presented as an agent to the tranfer of Osimhen to juventus. He signed all necessary documents. The money was transferred into his account. Victor Osimhen used sentiments and scope to collected all the money, and gave him 2.5%. He is now demanding foe his fair share of the deal. Where is the entitlement here? |
Idaytesj29:Which next transfer? This was a deal that happened 2 years ago. If there had been another transfer, you think the sister and inlaw would be crying? Osimhen ran his inlaw street. There was to be no other tranfer. |
benalvino3:Trump's worshippers are liars narcissistic and anarchists just like trump. You tell an outright lie, then you use your lie as a basis for whataboutism. Hillary did concede defeat, never told her supporters to "stop the steal" or planned a coup to overthrown the incoming government. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEiv4gulxHg Stacy Abrams did not concede, she raised issues within the electoral system put in place by Brian Kemp the secretary of state and opponent, but she acknowledged Brian Kemp as the winner of the election. She did not even challenge the election much less rilled her supporters to "stop the steal" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDeVX4N0Iuk No one investigated trump for stealing an election. What the Mueller committee investigated was Russia's attempts and actual interference in the elections for which certain Russian individuals and organisations were indicted. What the Mueller investigations could not establish was collusion by Trump and his organization. But then trump worshippers are tone deaf and blind to reason. Their own motto is trump must be worshiped by all necessary means - lies, deflection deception, violence, etc. |
tnerro1:If you look at Victor Osimhen's sister and her husband in the video, do they look like people doing well? The sister way shedding tears in front of camera. It shows they are suffering. Whether Victor Osimhen collects £200,000 per week or he stopped playing football, the sister and her husband has determined that they would not get any help from Victor. So they are prepared to collect the reminder of the other deal to set themselves up for life and forget Victor. |
Ibime:Trump has opened the Pandora box in US politics. I don't see any one or party accepting defeat again in the US for the near future. Any presidential election from now on has the potential of turning violent. Peaceful transfer of power is now history. I don't see how the next elections will not turn violent particularly if Trump is running. |
Yonsxp:You sound like a very dishonest Nigerian. I pity those that do business with you. How can you do a deal (agency one at that) and give the person that front for you just 5%? Even people that front for greedy politicians get up to 30% |
Mercury12:The transfer fee itself was worth €60million. The money the inlaw received was the agent's fee. Whether he used one agent or two is not the issue here. The agents should get their fees appropriately. Yes he bought in his inlaw to keep it in the family. To me he should have shared the agents fee 50/50 and not 3/87 as the inlaw alleged.
|
Ficient:Watch the video. The inlaw alleged Osimhen only gave him 20k not 70k. Besides, he was the agent. So the money actually belonged to him. |
tillaman:That's if you are dealing with outsiders. When you deal with family sentiments come into play. Victor would have used sentiments and carrot (more money and deal in future) to get the inlaw to transfer the money to him. |
Mercury12:The money is the agent fees its not for any sweet work for football field. The money was not meant for Osimhen, that why it did not go to his account directly. Abi you no pay agent fee before you rent house? Osimhen want collect rent and agent fee at the same time. |
biafranrealson:20k out of $439k and €69k? Who is greedy between Osimhen and the inlaw? Remember this is the agents fee and not the transfer fee itself. You think Victor that could only give only about 2% of the deal they both carried out would be ready to spend his own money to help the sisters family? |
