Ignoramus everywhere writing thrash. Who doesn't know that the right of self-determination of peoples is a fundamental principle in international law. It is embodied in the Charter of the United Nations and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Common Article 1, paragraph 1 of these Covenants provides that: "All peoples have the rights of self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development." The right of indigenous people self determination is an international law and it supersedes any indivisible rubbish script for Nigeria constitution. As far as Nigeria remains a bonafide member of UN, she is bound to adhere to all UN laws. |
Onijagidijagan:Leave Igbos , go to school and brush up your English. Stop embarrassing yourself dude. |
“be cautious in their utterancesYeah, patriotic pronouncement like that of our founding fathers below: “We do not want our Southern neighbours to interfere in our development. We have never associated ourselves with the activities of these people. We do not know them, we do not recognize them, and we share no responsibility in their actions. We shall demand our rights when the time is ripe. If the British quit Nigeria now at this stage, the Northern people would continue their uninterrupted conquest to the sea”. - Sir Tafawa Balewa (1947) “We the people of the North will continue our stated intention to conquer the South and to dip the Koran in the Atlantic ocean after the British leave our shores.” - Sir Ahmadu Bello (1957) Nigeria is just a mere geographical contraption - Awolowo “The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities in the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future”. - Sir Ahmadu Bello (1960) |
The oba of akure is suffering from acute Inferiority complex. Nobody is dragging Oba throne with him . If the Eze ndi igbo is truly disrespectful to the Oba, why then did he honour the Oba's invitation. Eze ndi Igbo is simply the elected leader of Igbo pple living in akure, how does his position challenge the position of the Oba of akure? The Oba behaved like a common street tout Like Oba of akure, most yoruba youth are suffering from acute inferiority complex. That's why they demand for respect rather than work hard to earn it. The Ogba ewu (Goat market) in head bridge market in Onitsha is dominated by hausas, even those some igbos sell goat there also, an Hausas man has always been the leader of the market and neither the Obi of Onitsha nor Igbos youths in Onitsha has ever felt threatened. Everybody is more occupied with their business. Why would an Oba feel threatened when an Igbo man becomes a leader in a market highly dominated by Igbos? Inferiority complex is the answer. I understand that yorubas hate competition in their land especially if the competitor is from another tribe. But they should know that America is great today bcus they welcome competition. Igbos leave igboland to yorubaland, not that yorubaland is more developed than Igboland, but simply bcus business in Igboland is highly competitive , unlike in yorubaland. In Igboland, everybody has the business brain which makes it highly competitive environ. Yorubas are not known for buying and selling, they are more of white collar jobs, which is an advantage for Igbos in yorubaland who are more of business merchants. The yorubas , hausas and other tribe exemption of Igbo always scream 'one Nigeria'. But Igbos are the tribe who practicalize 'one Nigeria' mantra, and yet they are hated for that. |

lygn19:You are a big liar man. It's obvious you have never been to the said market in akure. I have friends who carry out business in the market, the market is highly dominated by igbos and their is never a law or custom which require that the Oba choose the leader of the market. The traders are the ones who chose their leader, and that's exactly what happened, it was not the Eze ndi igbo who appoint the leader, he only supported the igbo man who won the leadership. The Oba has no legal right to dethrone a person selected by any indigenous group to lend them. You guys should stop all these lies. |

Onijagidijagan:Your cup of tea bro . Igbos don't give a damn what u think |
Kastonkastroll:You will love to have odua nation, but you are too coward to speak up for it. The one yoruba man who pick up the courage to speak up for it, is now the one you mofo are threaten to lynch if ever your odua nation is actualized. I wonder when , how and who you are waiting for to speak up and fight for the actualization of your beloved odua nation. You sit down and keep dreaming and wishing that oneday your odua nation will fall from heaven and actualize itself. |

Buhari has to first change himself b4 he can be able to change anything. I still see the same military coup dictator of 1982, no change at all. |
Rapmoney:You have to wait until a bomb explode in your head b4 you make required move to protect yourself and your family. SMH |
Enough of all this buhari's daughter brouhaha... She should go focus on her studies and stop all this media show. She is not the only person whose dad is president. Nigeria media has more important issues to report, then telling us what buhari's daughter is doing. Maybe they should also tell us what buhari's driver and gateman is doing. She is just seeking media attention. |
What a proud Murderer. Many beast in human skin working as nurse in our hospitals. May God help us all |
Why can't Country of western Nigeria stand and fight for their land? why can't they chase away Nigeria from their land? Are the country of western Nigeria cowards? ![]() |
It's all about religion... Buhari can't change even if he want to . He is a religious bigot |
I don't know of other tribes tradition, but in some parts of Igboland, a child born out of wedlock belongs to the woman and should bear her name, until the man pays her bride price and do other marriage rites as required by tradition. The deceased family is only insisting the man pay their daughter's bride price b4 he can claim the child he got with her. If the man refuse to pay her bride price, then he had waved his right of the child. The Child will be taken by the girl's family. Had it been the man got no child with the deceased woman, the decease family wouldn't have ask for a marriage rite from the man. |
new2020:Yoruba sign biafra petition? So igbos can go and leave them with hausa/fulani ? ![]() |
Buhari is not a petroleum engineer, he should rather supervise the defence ministry, that's his specialty. Bcus obj did it, you want to do yours, even though OBJ did nothing positive out of it. All these dictators in democratic camouflage. |
He looks dirty and disgusting. He couldn't even get a nice background for his shots. |
segend:Mofers, weakly's conspiring online to bully a woman. Go get a life dude |
coolitempa:You are always pained.. Why not hit your head on the wall close by . chronic moronic bigot calling someone bigot.. SMH |
