Art, Graphics & VideoRe: Results Of Web Banner Design Contest For Nairaland Ads by Wislet(f): 7:49pm On Sep 24, 2012
I wish to congratulate all the winners (and contestants).

@Seun (and the panel):
Let me apologize for not uploading the 154 X 95 Pixel (.PNG) for each design as well as not providing a link to my website.
I was involved in slight automobile accident later that last Thursday evening I uploaded that design. I actually planned to retouch and upload the designs the next day, Friday, but as fate would have it… I have been in clinic since then till this morning.
As for my website, my organization is currently undergoing rebranding, which include change of name & URL, and I deem it’s not in the best interest to jump ahead of the team.

I guess all odds were definitely against me as far as this contest is concerned, but it’s all good.

Thanks for this opportunity - it was a good one, and special thanks to all who appreciated my designs (@masterpiecer, @timbros, @unclenna, @Kslib, @toluxa1, @Seun) and others.

K.Net2
eeeyah. Sorry dear.
But thank God u're okay.
You are a winner already.

(1)A man that respects her (which comprises: not disturbing with over jealous attitude, doesn't beat up women and is FAITHFUL). With the way some men downplay this area of their relationship, it is indeed terrible that they actually expect it in their partner. Be faithful! It will not reduce the size of your head. Rather you will attract respect from your partner.

(2)An industrious man that doesn't take a lady's desire for him to be comfortable and independent as gold digging or high-reaching, thereby excusing his laziness. seeing as it is not every female that is broke. Do not talk LOVE when your broke a.s.s has not found something meaningful and productive to do. Will you feed, clothe and house your family with 'love?'. Your parents are still feeding you, you are not through with school not to talk of being in the working class, Or just started work, haven't established yet.......and all your interest is in probably lying to and trying to tie down someone of the opposite sex. And when she leaves, you come on nairaland to lament the evils of women.

(3). A man who respects God.

NO MAN IS PERFECT, SO I THINK OTHER MINOR BEHAVIORAL FLAWS, IF THEY CAN'T BE TOLERATED, THEN DON'T DATE THE PERSON.

PoliticsRe: Lawyers Protest Bad Roads In Aba by Wislet(f): 8:52am On Sep 21, 2012
afam4eva: You're yet to see a descent picture of Aba because the one's you've seen are the only pictures that can paint Aba as it's known to popular wisdom. Of course, we can't compare the senerity of Aba to those of Enugu, Owerri, Uyo or Calabar but it has some decent(average) places just like every other average city. Those pictures are not only astronomical but were taken in the eyes of mischief makers with a camera purchased from hell and produced by satan with materials assembled by his demons.
hahahahahaa.
This man u need help.
Maybe ur work is to lie , or are u working closely with....... ...... Mmmmh.
Be careful.
Do not lie ur way through life, even when the truth is obvious to a blind man.
PoliticsRe: Lawyers Protest Bad Roads In Aba by Wislet(f): 8:44am On Sep 21, 2012
afam4eva: Someone just takes a picture of a particular place in Aba and uploads it as a true representation of Aba. Yes, we know Aba is bad but not this bad and not everywhere. When i went to Aba 3 years ago, i was trying very hard to find the dirty Aba i kept hearing and seeing all over the internet but i couldn't find any. Even Ogbor hill that seems like a middle to lower-class neigbourhood is not that bad.
U visited Aba 3yrs ago? How do u know what Aba is like now?
You are being shown hard facts of how that city is right now, and here u are making excuses.
Don't bring down the wrath of More enlightened people upon urself.
RomanceRe: The Greatest Lie You Have Ever Heard From A Partner? by Wislet(f): 10:55am On Sep 18, 2012
190: My ex told me she had test to write next week
and while i dropped her off a friend of hers even called her
and reminded her of the test they had to write the following week
birthday plans for the next day cancelled over the fact that i wanted her to study
since im a book - person

cut the long story short, that nite my friend invited me to a club but i rather slept off since i wasnt a party person
without my gurl around and been back in school reading.

3am the dude rushes to my house screaming that my gurl has closed the club with liquor and it was strictly an IV tin
and he gate crashed into the club, rang her number all through that nite wasnt reachable, checked up on her next day - for where
babe don enter voice mail.

till 6pm on her birthday she pops up with bruises saying that she was robbed,
I investigated admist anger and found out she and her new mugu wen throw party for her were caught by the police over fraud and other related activates
she cooled her dancing nerves in the cell got beaten by 4 other cell mates and her friends bailed her for 8,000

since then no body adviced me to run while my heart is still working

JUST 3 days ago - shes using BILL BOARD and PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEMS To look for my phone number, black berrypin all over Nigeria and the foreign country where im residing
saying she MUST reunite with me and we MUST be friends weda devil likes it or not,

My response to her messager was:

I rather kiss the blackest part of devil's nyash than to touch her dead body with a 1,000 meter pole angry angry

RomanceRe: The Nigerian Wife by Wislet(f): 6:43pm On Sep 17, 2012
alosiby: Dear Mr highpower. In my opinion, Nigerian guys have problems. I grew up outside Nigeria and for some reason, all the Nigerian guys around me went after girls of different races and ethnicities...whilst we stayed away from them to honour our parents and good upbringing..what are we supposed to do?
just because one yeye girl gave you the wrong mindset doesn't mean the rest of us are like that...

I think nigerian guys can be fake, demanding, swagless, money loving and feel they are God's gift to women...I am also not a big fan of people who can't inspire me intellectually and those who judge people without getting to know them. Perhaps its the ones I've met..but they all act the same to me...LOL...I've met a few highly educated ones, but, truth be told, they are not really attractive and tend to be old and want young girls....yet treat us like chewing sticks....
i beg your pardon and ask you to reconsider. Maybe its you with the problem. Maybe you have a wobbed mindset of nigerian girls...are you seriously worthy of a good nigerian girl?
Good one dearie.
A person attracts what he/she is.
Marriageable (quality) Nigerian women abound, yet some of them here haven't been privileged to meet one for real. So, they brand ALL the SAME...forgetting that women see them (the men) the same way. Who is then worse?
YET, we all know there are still some good men around(who are too busy to whine everyday of their lives, and who definitely don't see themselves as 'God's gift to women' )- yet they are incredible. They are the ones to emulate. Same way, good women are there.
If only some of them who are so bitter that they vent their frustration on total strangers (and pride themselves as being what they have not attained)would use that time to develop themselves and their mindset, maybe the right ones will begin to come close.
But with this pride and bitterness...even a blind man would avoid them from afar.

@topic, yes, we can say it is (from the statistics that is) wink

but hey, we know most nations literally worship those people. Crime committed within (is mostly hushed and covered from the news) and without (are mostly hushed by other nations for fear of getting on the wrong side of the US).
But they'll gladly show the rest of Africa and other less developed nations and label them evil.
