Make me, old fool. Someone's already rigging so how can my wishing him more rigging be a curse? Doesn't it mean he cursed himself? What has your own education taught you? To fear men? Capital mugu. Decorum your head. Learn to mind your business if u have any, re.ta.rd!

Well, you just replied, O worshipper of men. Your words speak for themselves "but men as well", what has that got to do with anything? As a woman i shouldn't have an opinion abi? 100% stone age olodo . Go back and read where u said i must be a BB supporter and implied that i support a Nigeria plagued by violence, just because i spoke out against someone who said he rigged for GEJ. You suffer from selective amnesia obviously. Agbaya. Comot for road abeg, smelly old thing.

In all your matured wisdom you didn't see it fit to say anything to the person who said he rigged (probably because he's a man grin) rather you faced me. The rigger hasn't even replied to my post, na you be voltron. Correct agbaya!

And thanks, by the way, i ALWAYS have fun  cheesy cheesy
shut up already girl. Haba! Ur mouth stil running? Even if he said he rigged, is that reason enough to curse him?? Must ur mouth always vomit curses? And for ur knowledge, i dont worship anybody. I referred to 'men' cos u obviously sound like someone dat runs ur mouth on fellow ladies, but at least u should hav some decorum wen it comes to men (if at all u can help yourself). Do u hear yourself talk at all? Gutter language, like a stark illiterate. Education is supposed to hav taught u some manners girl. Or dont u have one? Shh!!! Stop talking.

And pls stop reducing yourself, u are female. Have some self-respect, Not talking like your mouth is leaking. I got important things 2 do than reply ur banters. Bye. Have fun.

[quote author=tpiah! link=topic=653947.msg8201219#msg8201219 date=1303743267]sweetie, no need to panic.

all i'm telling you is if a man keeps mentioning how much he wishes you were from his ethnic group, then you shouldnt feel obliged to knock yourself senseless trying to copy the same.

someone like that can never be satisfied with a copy of the original when he can easily get the original if that's what he wants.

little story:

my friend's family friend had a brother who was dating this lady who happened to be a great cook, extremely beautiful and all any man would want in a wife. She would prepare delicious dishes that got the whole relatives salivating and eager to see her. Surprisingly [perhaps], the man broke up with her much to the dismay of his food loving family, and eventually got married to someone who could barely boil an egg, or so i heard.  The other lady also married someone else who i assume appreciated her better.

and did i mention the first lady actually wasnt the only girlfriend visiting at the time- she was just the best cook of all of them. lipsrsealed

so my point is nigerians are very obliging [unlike me], and they wont refuse should you make a request in the name of trying to outsmart them, or that they dont quite agree with.

However, anyone trying to outwit a nigerian man [especially the ones needing green card or visa]will have to buckle up their trousers and then some, because say for example, you demand you want to go and live with his grandma as a way of holding the man. He can be from say yoruba- what's to prevent him from handing you over to an old woman in bayelsa who he says is his grandma, while he checks out the local babes as you slave away learning his local dishes.

Or if indeed you spend a month or more with his actual grandma, then head back home, and as soon as you leave, the other girlfriends also rotate their own stays with grandma while learning how to cook his favorite nigerian foods.

so, win-win situation for the man, not so sure for the woman, especially considering the mosquito bites and whatnot that will also come with the experience.[/quote]Well, we can't just assume the man is a player or unserious. And where is it said de man wished she was from his ethnic group? Let's not make assumptions pls. We are not talking about players, but responsible men that want to settle down with their chosen wives.
Romance › Re: How Do I Tell This Decent Girl To Run For Her Life? by Wislet(f): 3:55pm On Apr 25, 2011
@heavy g, since she has said she wants to know wat he said, play it back for her to hear or tell her yourself. Also tel her about ur findings on de man. A man dat claims to love a woman cannot irrationally shut down her life like dat-askin her to close her facebook account & keep off friends dat hav been there for her long befor he showed up! Smh
Romance › Re: Staying With His Grandmother For A Month by Wislet(f): 3:18pm On Apr 25, 2011
SOME REALLY RIDICULOUS REPLIES HERE. The man grew up wit some kind of delicacies & has grown to relish them. Him asking his future wife to go learn how to cook them does not in any way mean he doesn't cherish her the way she is. He's NOT asking her to learn how to sweep de house/fetch water/keep clean, she already knows those! Men love good food, especially the locally prepared. His to-be wife is not from his place, so she doesn't know how to prepare them. He could easily have decided to marry someone from his place who could naturally cook good food for him, but he has found love elsewhere. Igbo men dont play wit good food. So what is de crime in asking his wife-to-be to learn how to cook his best foods, to keep his eyes at home, Instead of always missing mummy's nice dishes? Some ladies really need to get rid of their s.tupid pride dat will get them nowhere.

@OP, DONT MIND SOME OF THE REALLY S.TUPID RESPONSES U'VE GOTTEN HERE. Just tell her u're no longer interested. Dont threaten to tell anyone-it could make her continue coming to you for fear u might let the cat out of de bag. Just tell(warn) her in no uncertain terms not to find you anymore. U want to break away & be on your own. After a while of strongly rebuffing her advances, she wil get de message.

Yes. What really do u base your love on? Looks like physical appearance & 'seemingly' good qualities always attract you. Don't fall in love so easily. Try to take your time no matter de attraction. By doing so, u will be able to know if the other person feels de same way you do.

Romance › Re: Urgent Advice;i Got My Ibo Fiance Pregnant by Wislet(f): 8:40am On Apr 23, 2011
@OP, pls DO NOT try to get rid of de pregnancy, for ur sake & hers. Why kill your child? U complain about lack of finance for traditional wedding and all that. In Igbo culture, if a woman is traditionally married, SHE IS CONSIDERED A MARRIED WOMAN. The traditional marriage takes 2 forms: either u want de whole ceremony of calling guests, buying refreshments et all OR you go for its substitute. You can do it quietly in money terms- no guests, no party. It will be between you & your folks), the parents and the elders of her family. It is much cheaper & done to save costs, or in the event of the groom's unavailability i.e.pressure of work esp if he is outside de country. So instead of staying just like that, talk to the girl's parents and tell them the situation on ground. I'm sure they will want to speed up everything even more than u (Igbo has pride) so as not to be shamed. When that has been done, she can have her baby in the eyes of all as a married woman. U can plan for de white wedding later.

Are you mourning b-i-t-ch? smiley
I hate liars so making things up to astir attention is NOT me. I'm serious babe, this girl who was part of my life once is driving me nuts. I actually didn't went anywhere today except my gym and a little chitchat with my boys and guess what? She was there yelling at me from distant, ridiculing me infront of the public.   I took her aside by she went all crazy then I drive off. lipsrsealed
Get a new girlfriend/someone dat can act dat role for the meantime. Secondly, MAKE IT A POINT TO COMPLETELY IGNORE her whenever she rants. Running away, looking at her/showing any emotions will let her know she's getting to you. Just completely ignore her presence. Tell your male friends what's going on so they'll be able to watch your back. Above all, PLS KEEP A GOOD DISTANCE FROM HER ALWAYS. U never know what such a mind can conceive.
