Justnation:

In 1999 the presidency was micro zoned to the south west, PDP vs AD&ANPP alliance.

Tribal bigots like you never complained. Then it was okay.
To micro zone the same to south East is now a problem.

You all will regret this TRIBALISM and ethnic bigotry in future.
Rubbish. Remember the injustice done to Yorubas that led to the death of Abiola ? If what happened to Abiola had happened to a Northerner, at the hands of Yoruba Military heads of State, would Nigeria not have burned seriously?

Of course the North knows what she got away with and why they had to compensate the Yorubas. You are the tribalist. Not me.

As per your silly threat, Yorubas have done the right things to make their region the most pivotally important in Nigeria unlike you globetrotting 'developers'.

No one can do anything to Yoruba. Not even the Igbo Presidency you think will give you such powers against us.

If maintaining rotation of the presidency is still on, Bola Tinubu shouldn't have contested in 2023, he shouldn't contest in 2027.
Rotation shouldn't continue to be between the Southwest and the North of Nigeria.
Are you not ashamed to show prejudice against SW so openly?

You say Presidency is being rotated between SW and North whereas the factually correct scenario is that the Presidency is being rotated between North and South.

This is because , by your myopic talk, surely driven by prejudice against the SW, many Northerners can also argue Presidency is being rotated between the Fulanis ( Yar Adua 2007, Buhari 2015 and Atiku's attempt in 2023) and the South.

Where does it then end if every ethnic group talk to make legitimate claim of marginalisation?

The only equitable scenario is for Presidency to rotate between North and South so that players from the North and South negotiate internally to produce the candidate who will stand for them.

Micro-zoning cannot ever be part of the general agreement , because it will create too much conflict, meaning Nigeria can only agree rotation is between North and South with everything else beyond that point left to internal regional agreements.

Pretty sure you are Igbo so let me tell you that Igbos will never be consensus candidate of APC until you people stop threating your attempt to be President as war against Yorubas rather than recognising you need them.

When it is the turn of the South in 2039, Yorubas will support South South to run on the slot of the South.

We owe you lot nothing as you have shown, beyond doubt, you do not mean us well.

If ADC fails to follow the trend and zone their ticket to the south East it will die a natural death.

The general consensus is that the south East should produce the president come 2027
Whose "general" consensus is that bar that of you lot from the SE alone? 2027 is for the South. That is the only thing reasonable Nigerians agree upon.

Tell your Igbo candidate,i.e Obi, to fight like a man for once in his life because that is what someone fitting to be President will do.

Nigeria does not owes you 2027 "consensus Igbo Presidency". Mind you, I do agree with you the ADC should zone her ticket to the SE.

Let us see who the Northern voters would be 'herded' to vote for. Obi who can constitutionally do 8 years or Tinubu limited to only 4 years Constitutionally from 2027.😎

What's ADC's business with the internal politicking of a party that to a large extent is out to help her?

ADC shouldn't be a meddlesome interloper but rather face her front because Nigerians are looking up to her for rescue from hopelessness.
Lol. You are not fooling anyone. Obvious you are one of those looking for revenge against Tinubu who robbed you of "Igbo Presidency".

Otherwise you will not label a party fronted by Atiku, Malami, Dino Melaye, Babachir Lawal, Hadi Sirika and so many other looters and failures as "rescuers" of Nigeria.

No normal Nigerians will see the above name and then vote ADC so that, as one example, Malami can return as AGF to aid the Fulani expansionist agenda in the South he did not complete under Buhari.
Oga, we see you well well.

Good. We should only be exporting high-value processed agricultural products.
Correct. They pay us peanuts for our raw materials to then utilise them to create far more valuable finished product that will then enter Nigeria and Africa at very expensive cost beyond the reach of the ordinary African.

Good that African leaders today are trying to change the plantation worker mentality of Africa towards trade with the West. We must take charge of our endowment rather than continue to act as plantation slaves doing all the hard work that is making their white masters huge fortunes.

Your job is to support everything the government does, keep supporting them and stop looking at reasonable people.

Don't let them stop paying you for propaganda.
Africa and Nigeria's greatest chance of development will be facilitated by moving away from being exporters of raw materials to be sellers of processed products where far greater and economically developmental income can be derived.

You accuse others of supporting Government automatically yet you are guilty of opposing government blindly.

Selling raw materials, that then gets sold back to us as very expensive finished goods only confirms we have no pride, nil ambition and are happy to be peasants of developed nation.

The practice is what has impoverished Africa and Africans many decades After Nigeria and many African nation gained independence, education and supposed freedom over their own socio-economic direction.

Obvious you hate Tinubu, Yorubas and the "Zoo". Yet those who love Nigeria will support what is now becoming laudable current strategy of African leaders aimed at stopping African nations continuing as raw material feeder factory of the world.

We should operate, as much as possible, at the finished goods end of the spectrum if we desire to be as developed as the nations of the West we have been selling our raw materials to for decades.

https://www.thecable.ng/breaking-tinubu-directs-temporary-ban-on-export-of-raw-shea-nuts/

President Bola Tinubu has directed a six-month temporary ban on the export of raw shea nuts.

Abubakar Kyari, the minister for agriculture and food security, said the ban takes effect immediately and the measure aims to promote local processing and add value within the country.

The minister said the measure reflects a broader strategy seen in the West African region to strengthen the agro-industrial base and increase export revenues by focusing on processed rather than raw products.

According to Kyari, the step aligns with similar efforts in other African countries such as Ghana and Burkina Faso, where phased or indefinite bans on raw shea nut exports have been implemented to boost domestic processing capacity and create jobs in the industry.

Stanley Nkwocha, senior special assistant to the president on media and communications (office of the vice-president), the ban will boost the country’s shea value chain and generate around $300 million annually in the short term.

It isn't Rocket Science. Bills sponsored, that then becomes ratified as law, as one example, can be a measure of productivity of Senators per State.

So too the success rate of Senators at meeting needs of their constituency. Their engagement with the executive arm is also available to use as a measure of productivity etc.

It really is sad. They now want to claim, in advance, and in case of any trophies Arsenal win from this point onwards, they "developed" one of the best clubs in the world and glory must go to them.

Several nations have more than one of their players representing Arsenal. Like Spain that has won so much. Brazil Also.

Arsenal even has a Spanish manager for God sake. Those guys are not saying Arsenal is about them because they understand the adage " there is no I in team".

Yet our own developers of the Universe are ready to declare Arsenal a Biafra team. Like Ttalk said, it is "disgusting" but , IMO, not surprising because "that's who they are". Lol.

Much as the electricity law has come to stay, the Governors are still slow to fully executing it. Much of what they are doing is largely implementing the distribution segment while they have shown less interest in the generation segment, partly because it is capital intensive. We don't really expect them to do it all by themselves, the law empowers them to attract private investors as parrners which makes it much easier. But as we speak, they rather the FG bears the burden of generating and transmitting while they only distribute in their states. However, to whom much is given, much is expected, Governors should be doing better.

-Kiss the truth!
Quite accurate, and I've made the same point before, but motivated States are moving seeking private sector partners for their preferred solutions.

I am confident the SW will make headway because attracting private sector partner will depend on State proving exhaustively that the partnership will be profitable and ROI is assured for the Private Company or companies involved.

Reasonable Igbos, for the sheer horror the SE has descended into, don't sit online joining threads like this to be making excuses or pointinf fingers at what is going on in this or that land.

It makes sense for a man with fatal disease to be lying he is in robust health while claiming he is better off than his neighbour with a migraine?

Reasonable Igbos accept there is work to do and focus on that. This is why Soludo, to shut up the unreasonable, excuse-making and finger-pointing Igbos, announced that it is Igbos responsible for 99% of killings in Igbo land. This is a Governor with security report some unhelpful and unprogressive noisemaker are not privy to.

Yet same folks sit online making excuse and shifting blame whereas Soludo's brave utterances was a call to action for Igbo, especially those pointing fingers at others, to accept they have caused problems for themselves and must embrace the task of finding solution.

Those sort can be deceiving themselves. The fact that Nigerians are not relocating to the SE speaks volumes.

Nobody is discrediting any information. You can't use the criminality and violence in 1 or 2 local government to judge the entire region.

Orsu and ihiala both in Anambra and imo are the hotbed of ipob esn violence. Nobody is denying the fact. The two Local government shares border and their terrain makes it difficult for security agencies to penetrate.

But on March last year 2024. There was breakthroughttps://saharareporters.com/2024/03/08/nigerian-troops-raid-destroy-alleged-ipob-esn-supreme-headquarters-anambra-kill-scores

Combined JTF and Vigilante from both States liberated those villages. Their were massively dislodged. The few that makes it alive run as far as possible and stay in the bush where Army and communities vigilantes set up by Ordima Orsu and ihiala are still hunting them to finish the remaining ones.

There is no record of hotbed of ipob violence in Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi. None.

But you can't say the same about the ritual killings that is endemic in SW.
Go and console your greatest female Chimamanda Adichie crying publicly about the horror in the SE and lamenting "this is not who we are".

Lol NBA 2002 conference was hosted in Ibadan. NBA will host their conference anywhere they want, that is not a determinant of better security.

Mind you Rivers state was initially scheduled to host this year conference, Enugu was an afterthought.

I can travel somewhere for an event with the government providing security and people staying in close proximity and might not necessarily live there.

If they say a state is insecure, they don’t mean people don’t live there or visit. Even during the peak of insecurity in Borno, people still live there and attend parties.
Bro, you know how to note reasonable and unreasonable Igbos here on NL? Reasonable Igbos will never be on threads like this because they are sad at what it reveals and know things are not as they should be in their region.

They accept that indeed other regions are better. Meaning Igbo must make changes. They won't come here to try and be defending what cannot be defended.

Unreasonable Igbos will be here trying to discredit information revealed, engaging in damage limitations/whataboutism plus calling colour white black like the chap saying Enugu is now some safe utopia because of one NBC conference whereas Nigerians are still not voting with their feet to relocate there or any other SE State.

Obvious the Unreasonable ones are far greater in number than folks like Soludo, Ijelespeak etal hence the current state of the SE.

That said, this and alot more similar incidents happening that never made it to public space, was brought upon the east by every single individual who supported and is still supporting IPOB/ESN.

We saw this coming to pass from the very beginning, but the east was hell bent on chopping off their own noses just to spite Buhari, and they made a huge success of it. Then came their preferred presidential candidate who made things worse by literally absolving the killers of any wrongdoing, saying they're his neighbours and he lives amongst them!!

Three lives now cut short, execution style, by someone who has no idea how to make a cell, let alone a human. A killer and a criminal, just like those he condemned to death.

Rest in peace young boys. You never would have been involved had your elders done the right thing from the beginning.
The executioner is officially a serial killer and has probably killed many before this murders and will still execute many more in future if he is not stopped.

Yet the scary thing is that there will many like him, with no regard for human life, running the street of the SE 'unaliving' anyone who even looks at them funny.

Which begs the question how many can the Police stop if Tinubu even deploys half of our NPF men to the SE?

As usual, Obi will 'fem' or try to find a way to link this with PBAT. Oh well, make your and lay in it. It is his region rapidly turning to a dystopian nightmare while him and other Igbo leaders cower, hide or feign ignorance from their Lagos and Abuja residence.

Yes because, like most of us to include Tinubu himself, the damage Buhari and his boys (Emefiele , Malami, Tunde Sabiu etal) has done shocked so many to the extent they has no option but to feel sorry for Tinubu regarding the sheer scale of problems Buhari left for him to face.

Anyone reasonable will know they must give Tinubu much longer than a year before commenting in light of what was revealed after PBAT became President.

You can imagine the madness revealed about how the Buhari government literally printed trillions the Nigerian economy did not have the innate buoyancy to defend.

Emefiele even had an over 700 unit estate confisticated from him as proceeds of his monumental theft under Buhari. How much did others even closer to Buhari like Malami and Tunde Sabiu etal, steal? Hadi Sirika and the Nigerian Airline scam nno?

Per the part in bold, I respectfully disagree. In my considered opinion, Ndigbo, especially those from other states, think he is a noisy rabble rouser.

The problem with Ndigbo is that, and I don't expect a Yoruba man to understand this, noisy Ndigbo's have brow beaten the majority. Threats of being labelled sabo etc means majority have to aquiesce to the demands of an aggressive minority who now have guns.

Now I am not saying you are Yoruba but can you imagine any one Yoruba person trying the nonsense on Yorùbá's that Kanu did with Ndigbo. A tribe that, despite his best intentions, Àwo couldn't unify. It's simply impossible to get majority Yoruba to back something that is good for them, never mind something that isn't. Can you imagine any Yoruba person declaring a sit-at-home, simply impossicant.

Look at how quickly Sunday Igboho was (rightfully) rubbished. By the way, all the Yoruba people he kpaid and injured in gubernatorial elections all over Yorubaland, that case is still waiting for him.

So bottom line is, Ndigbo don't all support Kanu, I wouldn't say they are cowards either, it's just self preservation and sometimes, that is a good thing.
I believe Igbos, as a people preferring to dominate all others, as their forefathers bragged before any other Nigerians even espoused the notion, are prone to passionately following leaders who sell them 'domination' agendas they predicate on the need to subjugate others so Igbos can thrive.

Your narrative of selling Igbos as good people cowered by a few bad eggs does not fly with me. It is the other way round in my opinion and I think you are simply blind to reality that even their agenda to dominate others everywhere, to include outside Nigeria, indicates.

Their core problem lies with the spirit of most of them that they must dominate everyone everywhere to be wealthiest and in command wherever they find themselves.

When met with resistance they then develop enduring and toxic hate for those who successfully resist and repel them. That is what is behind most of their aberrant behaviour condemned globally. As simple as that.
