vanbonattel:Lol, because all the landlords, in your mind, are your people Abi? |
AlphaTaikun:I did not even know the Igbo Eze in Ghana was an ex-con in Nigeria. See, this even proves my point about the irresponsibility, blame-shifting and whataboutism deception of the likes of Kettykin. I made this very point in another thread. I.e the fact it the criminal elements from Nigeria who are most visible at street level in Ghana, and not our legit and brilliant achievers, who are responsible for the negative perception Ghanaians have of Nigerians. Yet this Kettykin character, showing he does not care for solutions and is only interested in beefing Yorubas, is claiming it is Yorubas not allowing peace to "reign" in Ghana. Whereas it is actually his fellow Igbo who overstepped his boundaries in the land of others, as Igbos do everywhere wordlwide, and is even a former criminal to boot, that is not allowing peace to reign in Ghana. The truth is that what makes Nigerians great and admired, I.e our self-belief and confidence plus readiness to take risk, is what makes us bad, feared and reviled also. If we open our eyes to see the obvious we would note that how brilliant and talented Nigerian will readily go anywhere, sure in their capacity to compete and thrive, is the same way our most heinous criminals also believe other nations will be "mumu soft touches" they can build criminal empires in. By all means we must support Nigerians discriminated against unfairly regardless of ethnicity. Yet, I am not going to pretend Nigerians, per what I know from personal experience, are not guilty of exporting criminals abroad, in large numbers, who then become a detested problem for others outside our nation. |
anonimi:Lol. You've got no chills at all have you? Is there even a single thing or individual you find positive in Nigerian politics? |
1mansolder:Lol. Some of you cannot see how you are guilty of what you allege against others. Kenneth Okonkwo you did not attach tribalism and bigotry to as you did with Soyinka, Omokri, FFK and El Rufai. You merely castigated Okonkwo as "untrustworthy". Ditto the vile hate preachers and uber ethno-religous bigot Kanu that you absolved of tribalistim and bigotry you charged all others with, to claim his failing is "going about Biafra in a wrong direction". Surely it must be obvious to you that your clearly biased comment show what you are. |
anonimi:Is that not you, shown below, praising Tinubu and his predecessors, from 1999 onwards, as being better than "first class" Otti and Soludo in "the area of free basic education for all children"? If the two are not better than the four governors of Lagos State since 1999, in the area of free basic education for all children, then how is their first class degree not a waste? A total and complete waste to the society! |
fuckingAyaya:I'll get worried when Fulanis begin insisting on gaining political positions in Lagos and taunting indigenes that "Lagos is no man's land". I'll notice Fulanis when, rather than appreciate their host for success they have made in lagos, begin to mock Yorubas by claiming "we have bought all their land and are dominating lazy and unambitious Yorubas in their own land". My eyebrows will arch upwards also if Fulanis begin declaring "we developed Lagos and she will become worse than Afganistan overnight if we pull out of the State". The fact is that migration, in pursuit of better lives and greater opportunities, is not not an issue in humanity. Yorubas do it and we all do regardless of ethnicity or nationality. Migrants even have their own areas, in the land they have migrated to, they are allowed to define in their image. Like how Southall, in West London, is largely an Indian and Pakistani enclave in identify. What is wrong is for immigrants to any area, rather than seek sincere and productive assimilation, to prosecute a covetously expansionist agenda of malevolent takeover focused on seizing control from others to then make themselves the dominant force in the land. That agenda will always be resisted anywhere in the world. |
anonimi:Anonimi, have you now employed a ghost writer? Can't believe you wrote the above. Abi you're recovering from Malaria fever? I am shocked you can praise Lagos Governors to include Tinubu. 😲😳 First time I will ever like your post. This is proof miracles can happen and confirmation even a broken clock is right twice a day. |
Tinubumustgo:People like you make me laugh with your attempt at rudimentary mischief. You want to convince intelligent Nigerians this is about "incompetent people in power" rather than the reality of how, as the Hausa man confesses below, the solutions to the problems of the North is entirely in the hands of Northern leaders? The "competent leader" who should be voted in to "save" Nigeria is Atiku ba? A leader with several decades involvement in Nigerian politics yet failed Deborah because he could not stand his ground to condemn the religious extremism and murderous lawlessness in the North that led to her killing ? To make matters worse, virtually all Northern religious and cultural leaders chillingly endorsed her killing as deserved !! Atkku deleted his original message condemning the brutal killing of Deborah because he faced backlash from a region that unanimously endorsed her murder. How will he lead well for all Nigerians when his region reject what is best for all citizens of Nigeria? Shall I begin with Obi also and his pathetic record as a compromised, weak and cowardly leader? Crystal clear some of you are too emotional and prejudiced to identify those truly fit to lead Nigeria. Open your eyes. We should all be agitating for Nigerians to go and lead themselves at regional level. The current system is just a shambolic system of self-sabotage and continuous travel on the road to perdition for all of us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEczxfZ1s7Q?si=ALe-sPLxjlNsU0bL

christistruth01:Lol. Apparently, he wants a Kingdom though and that is the main bone of contention with Ghanaians. Nigerians cannot say they don't have first hand experience of what Ghanaians are agitating against. Especially the Yorubas who have had the historical and unending displeasure of fighting the covetously expansionist attempt of Igbos, beginning with Azikiwe etal, to make the SW an annexed territory of Igboland when nothing similar was ongoing in the opposite direction. To show that what Azikiwe and Co did was not the aberrant character of a few, they all continue with the same pursuit till today. Nauseatingly discriminatory, unwelcoming and protectionist in their SE enclave yet demanding the keys to the Manor in the SW. They even brag one of them will be Governor of Lagos eventually. Yorubas, factually one of the greatest ethnic groups in Africa with a distinguished history of exemplary achievements, will mumuishly allow that and fail our generations unborn via inactions that would see them become second class in their land of origin behind covetous and calculative usurpers ? |
SeraphicWind:How is he right? Did you not note his conclusion, shown below, that makes it obvious his focus is on attaching blame to Yorubas alone over ongoing events in Ghana and Lagos? What does the Eze of Ghana idiocy have to do with Yorubas? Should Yorubas not rightly agree he offended Ghanaians with his antics? How are Yorubas not allowing peace to reign in Lagos? If we get into the issue from the perspective of the many incendiary things Igbos alone, of over 300 ethnic groups in the State, are doing, then we'd be here for months !! Yet he introduced those unrelated situations here to shade Yorubas. You lot should learn to be fair and objective. He should be called out for his malevolent obsession with trying to make Yorubas the objects of blame over every issue. At his age, the man can't even discuss any topic without mentioning Yorubas negatively. Na wetin sef? Now it I'd beginning to happen to yorubas. I hope their kindred will learn from south Africa and allow peace to reign in Ghana and Lagos |
Ironfaceman:The Nigerian FG can only charge South African authorities to investigate issues thoroughly. They cannot do more than that because the situation of Nigerians in SA is complex. Loads of upright Nigerians there doing legit things. Yet we cannot ignore the fact that there are many Nigerian criminals in SA engaged in organised crime that may expose them to assassination attempt from other gangs in turf wars. Point is that you cannot assume every Nigerian killed in SA is innocent and South Africans are automatically guilty of killing them. What is being reported daily on NL about crime in India and those involved ? We are not ready to be the best version of ourselves, that Africa and the world can admire as meritorious "giant of Africa, if we automatically speak as if we are the innocent party in every situation. If you don't accept you have a problem then you'd never seek solutions for a problem you do not believe you have. The involvement of Nigerians in crime, in the nation of others, is disproportionately high. That is the truth we do not wish to face and accept responsibility for. When Abike Dabiri, our foreign affairs attache, tried to highlight this, a specific ethnic group began tagging her a bigot whereas her point was that we should look at ourselves also to note what we can do better. |
kettykin:Aren't you too old to be relating with every topic focusing alone on the ethnicity of those mentioned? That is what you do 100% of the time whereas it may be 10 to 20% for others, and it is nauseating. A sensible Nigerian adult, from what the reportage shows, would note Nigerians have died in SA and would wonder why. Every topic you must always seek to use to direct negative focus on Yorubas. You just can't help yourself and that is truly sad. |
Ojiofor:You still don't get it. Of course we give credit to them. As a keen footballer, I personally love Okoronkwo. She is a baller. Yet, I give her and all the other girls credit as Nigerian female footballers who did us proud and won together. It is you Iot who must always remind us of ethnicity, as if we should thank you, to then be saying Igbo girl scored this, made that assist, prevented that goal etc while blind to the contribution of others. As if your focus on the game was on the Ihbo participants alone, Show me how many Igbos here, throughout the whole WAFCON tourney, praised and celebrated the Yoruba who was player of the tournament or the contribution of Falcons who are not Igbos. Go ahead and show me because there are many thread here discussing the tournament. Everything you lot note and praise, is always from a clannish and ethnic perspective making it obvious you only see yourselves and other Igbos. Never your fellow Nigerians. |
Lioness5280:Lol. Amusing. "Migrant manipulation"? What does that mean exactly? "Accomodator"? I see you're getting warm with some catchphrases you learnt and now throw around ignorantly. Yes you have impressed me. That is what you want to hear right? Clap for yourself. Finally, yes we are "chasing" Igbos" from their "own Lagos". Yet all Igbos, despite being from the SE region of Nigeria, a considerable distance from Lagos, will even confess to you that Lagos is their biggest and favorite home, in the entire universe God created, outside their SE land of origin. Explain the logic of how Igbos, acclaimed to be circa 40 million worldwide, happen to have around 10 million of their people living in Lagos and the SW region that is the traditional domain of the Yorubas you claim are "chasing" them away. You're having a meltdown and tripping over your shoelaces sweetheart. Tak a break. Go and watch Lingashoni on Netflix. |
Lioness5280:Lol. This level of knowledge about latest Naija news na die. Obvious you love Nigeria and Nigerians. Heck, I can't be mad at a frenemy whose only fault is ignorance. You should visit Nigeria soon. We'd love to host you.😎 |
Lioness5280:You even carry unrelated and terminated convo from elsewhere here 😲😲 Okay. You win. Clearly you are on another 'levels. Where do I send your inscribed trophy to? |
tonesky:😲😲😲 Talk about point the finger at others only for your other finger to point back at you !! Is the bolded not what Peter Obi has become famous for since losing in 2023 to then enter a phase of attempting to play opposition politics? I.e "loose talk"? |
owobokiri:You once vehemently insisted Obi was an "empty vessel" and unfit Governer/leader. Your post , showing lack of confidence in Obi leadership capacity, are still here. Care to tell us what has changed? 😎😎 |
It is highly unlike Obi will ever be President. Certainly not between 2027 to 2039 anyway. |
kedeojo:💯% correct. The enemies of Nigeria's progress will never be happy with Dangote's achievement in the oil refining sector. Yet, who cares when they are in the minority. |
Validated:Some of you should try to read more, open mindedly, before jumping to conclusions to make utterances that leave others in no doubt you have comprehension issues. See below and note the "expulsion" is not ignorantly stated but is based on covering, for the absence of doubt, any attempt of El Rufai to hide under "self registration". The NWC therefore and hereby decides that by confirming and ratifying the denunciation of Nasir Ahmad Elrufai which was earlier done by his Unguwar Sarki Ward, Kaduna North Local Government Area and Kaduna State Executive Committee in Kaduna State, the SDP at all levels disassociates, disclaims, disfellowships, excommunicates Nasir Ahmad Elrufai as a member of the SDP; and to the extent that he purportedly claims membership by self registration or any other means, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai is consequently expelled from the membership of the Social Democratic Party anywhere in Nigeria and globally. |
Tochitee:💯% correct. They may claim others hate them. Yet, let us look at the fact. Who are those, beyond even Nigeria, who always have problem for trying to always lay claim to the rights, political and public administration offices and indigene entitlement of the hosts in the land of others they have migrated to? Today, they have caused negative attention for Nigeria in Ghana with the incendiary conduct of their "King of Igbos in Ghana". This covetous expansionism, allied with the need to prosecute the domination of others outside their ancestral domain in SE Nigeria, has spanned decades from the days of Azikiwe, Charles Onyeama etal. Covetous expansionists, seeking to "dominate" others in their land, is just who they are by nature. It is left to patriotic stakeholders to repel them by learning lessons from how the majority Hausa ethnic group became slaves of the much smaller but covetously expansionist Fulani in Northern Nigeria. Till today, and once they consolidated power, have the Fulanis let Hausa regain influential political stakes in their own land? No. It is the same way Igbos will move if allowed to control the land and region of others. Be that Lagos, Accra or Cape Town. |
SoftSport:Indeed. No surprise for those who understand their agenda. For example, how will they gain commanding control of Lagos, they covet the most of all geographical areas on Earth and wish to be their own exclusively, without control of the most powerful political offices in the State they hope an Igbo Presidency will help them gain? Desperation for Igbo Presidency is simply a tool of oppression they seek to use to covetously commandeer the land, asset and wealth of others. If anyone doubts this then they should read the thread below from several years ago. https://www.nairaland.com/745731/yoruba-marginalization-elders-met-jonathan |
Is this a surprise? They are all fundamentalists who hate the "Zoo" passionately and wish Nigeria the worst always. They do not care about the progress or effective governance of Nigeria and only religiously support Obi in search of the actualisation of an Igbo Presidency they believe will facilitate their historical desire to dominate Nigeria and all her assets. |
JIBO4REAL:He is an Obidient and passionate hater of the "Zoo". I don't think Einstein is required to tell us those sort passionately hate every good news/development related to Nigeria while remaining ready to jubilate all negative news/development concerning our nation. |
DesChyko:Bro, stop the distractive pettiness. I don't have time to educate you about the cement sector which is a totally different kettle of fish. You should drop the enemy of progress antics and focus on what is shown below to understand the big picture.
|
kedeojo:Well said. The bolded in your post is my fervent prayer also. |
