To know those behind this lie, look no further than those who shamelessly peddled the ludicrous fake news Buhari died in 2017 and was replaced by a Jubrin from Sudan. They are hateful anarchist who have no shame. They have never had the capacity to feel shame, as others can, and never will. |
lightwind:Lol. You're lucky the 40 character thingy isn't switched on today to bounce intellectual lazy bones like you. |
ProudlyLagos:The ridiculous reality about them is that they would still follow another lunatic hate preacher tomorrow, to their own destruction, if a charismatic "Ohamadike" in the mould of Kanu turns up pretending to be their Messiah. All he would need to do is anchor his messages of 'salvation on the 'urgent' need for Igbos to fight and oppose "Yaribas" and "Abokis" to thrive and dominate. |
iLoveYouToo:Unfortunately, that is the sad reality of the SE and Igbos today. Yet, and from time immemorial, they remain a people prone to making the wrong decision because of primordial hatred of other and a preponderance for letting emotions rule their capacity for pragmatic and logical thinking. If not, the entire forum should explain to me why a people who say they want a completely autonomous SE region, where Igbos can define their own socio-economic pursuit independently, are fighting to replace Tinubu with Atiku at even the expense of the turn of the South and the ambition of their own in Peter Obi. Is it not conclusive proof these people are driven by emotions plus overwhelmingly sentimental hatred and resentment towards others when, contrary to their demands of over six decades now, this wish to remove Tinubu, moving at remarkable pace to decentralise power and processes, as Igbos have always claimed to want more than anything else, with Fulani born-to-rule supremacists and hegemonistic imperialists who will surely return Igbos to 'one Nigeria' Egypt they tell the rest of us they resent? |
ello29:Here we go again. Politicians were responsible for Azikiwe frustrating the inclusion of a secession clause in our constitution many decades ago abi? Politicians caused the Igbo coup and influenced Ironsi to declare the unification decree ? It is politicians also responsible for Ojukwu's foolhardy pursuit of a war against Nigeria he knew he could not win and fully understood will come at a devastating cost for Igbos? Politicians also made a People lose their commonsense, respect for the sanctity of human life and humane decency to queue behind many homicidal hate preachers in the form of Kanu, Ekpa, Mefor, Nworu etal and even illiterate cultist killers and cannibals like Ikonso and "Dragon" etal? Who does that? Keep talking bro. A man incapable of of accepting the root cause of his own problems is very far from gaining solutions to those problems. |
Difrent:100% correct talk. Nairalanders should ask themselves why Igbos, especially those online @Nairaland and @twitter (X) etal have never backed what is shown below that all intelligent and exposed Nigerians know is Biafra, Oduduwa Republic and Arewa Republic etal in all but name. The answer is simple. As you stated, Biafra is a tool Igbos use to blackmail Nigeria to hand them the keys to Aso Rock, Lagos, Wealthy SS States etal. Look at how Igbos live as itinerant traders and economic migrants happy never to return to the SE. Is it not incontrovertible proof their Biafra noise is rubbish? The greatest sustenance of Igbos, because they are the owners of one of the most barren and unproductive regions of Nigeria, is the markets and spending power of other Nigerians outside the SE with the SW being the wealthiest example. People should ask themselves why Igbos, who would become broke overnight with the declaration of Biafra that would cut of their unrestricted access to markets outside the SE, can be truly sincere about gaining Biafra. We have not seen them make a conscious and even single effort to diversify the economic sustenance of the SE away from the huge income Igbos derive, as an itinerant trading people, from trade of good outside the SE. How then does their Biafra noise make sense? Can a disabled man, who needs a carer 24/7, sincerely say he is ready to live without a carer unless (1) he is insincerely blackmailing others to gain a hidden agenda or (2) is ready to commit suicide? What exactly about the barren reality of the SE, when Igbos make the majority of the income that sustain their folks in ala Igbo in the Markets of the SW, SS and North etal, show they are ready for Biafra as the SW or SS would succeed, in around 10 years, if they became independent nations today?

lightwind:Mentioning Obi is very pertinent because most Nigerians understand he is the personification of the unreal hypocrisy of you lot based on blind love of your own and primordially senseless hatred and disregard you host for other. Mainly Yorubas that, since the days of Azikowe etal, you feel threatened by because you cannot dominate or better them meritoriously. Obi is one of the Igbo leaders, 100% certified by his decades-long failings as a political leader in your region, who has gotten the SE where she is today. When you people then tout such a gross failure as fittest to lead Nigeria, while daily insulting Tinubu as "useless, never mind the fact he is the reformational father of the modern Lagos you are all fleeing to, do you think others will not call out Obi constantly as a show of how warped , prejudiced, clannish and bigotedly hypocritical your support is for such a monumental failure? |
MrMcJay:God bless you. Ebubeaugu, full of Igbos that should be patriotic in wishing to save SE from homicidal villains, became worse than the criminals in ala Igbo leading to their disbandment for extra-judicial killing, extortion, robbery, Kidnapping etc, etc. Contrast with Amotekun, full of indigenous Yorubas samecway Ebubeagu consisted of indigenous Igbos, that is now the best complementarysecurity force to the NPF in our entire nation. They don't wish to accept that the problem is with the mentality and outlook of the average Igbo and not the system per se. No Nigerian can deny that SARS was dreaded nationally leading to their disbandment by Buhari. Yet, bad as SARS were, it was only in ala Igbo, under Peter Obi, that Awkuzu SARS evolved into a demonic evil brutally murdering young men, harvesting their organs for sale, and then dumping their bodies in Rivers. Without a change of core orientation and mindset, I make bold to say the SE and Core North will remain the only region State Policing will fail to achieve desired results. |
frankson1:This is the tragedy of their existence. I.e refusal to take responsibility for their own wrongdoing further worsened by their 24/7 readiness to blame 'outsiders' for all their self-inflicted woes. Is there even a single case, since man has existed, of any individual gaining solutions for problems he has causes himself yet continue to insist is the fault of others alone? They continue to mention Tinubu, "Yaribas" etal. Yet what does Tinubu or Yorubas have to do with how Igbos, of their own freewill, chose to relegate their democratically elected leaders and replace them with genocidal hate preachers in the form of Kanu plus Ekpa and Chinasa Nworu etal? They made Kanu etal "supreme leaders" of SE Nigeria and commanders of the fortunes of one of the biggest ethnic groups in Africa. Igbos, in their overwhelming majority, decided to obey and sit-at-home for these homicidal hate preachers rather than their democratically elected leaders. Till today, they continue to justify their wrong choices rather than admit, as Chimamanda does, that there is indeed something very broken about the collective psyche and outlook of Igbos . You hate Buhari and 'outsiders' mean you put your future in the hands of murderous genocidaires and hate preachers like Kanu etal? Who does that individually let alone in many millions globally? I.e jump from frying pan into the fire? |
Evilthoughts:I have "no clue" because I don't wish to join you attacking South Africans unfairly? In this case, I simply don't agree with your argument which is predicated on your belief South Africa does not deserve status ascribed to her. You feel, via a misplaced sense of entitlement, such should be Nigeria's glory automatically. Sorry Sir, I cannot help you with that as an exposed citizen of the world who knows Nigeria has work to do matching South Africa onwards to being the meritorious Giant of Africa. It is time we stopped talking based on past glory and what we feel is our deserved status to begin acting to gain genuine economic might even our enemies will respect. Like or hate USA, you must respect her for her economic greatness, wealth and all round an usually unmatched capacity. If you paid attention you'd notice I made it clear, from my first post here, I will discuss the Nigeria V South Africa non-ending gbas gbos from a political and economic perspective and not the usual social bickering (Amapiano v Afrobeats comparison for example) that are subjective and cannot have a clearly defined winner or loser. Look at things from the perspective of quality of life for citizens or dweller of each nation, which political and economic considerations impact, and you understand my point. |
patrickcollins:You who has clue should, here and now, make a coherent case for how to "salvage the Country" since Tinubu is "clueless" in that regard. The Mic is yours. Do it justice and reveal what Tinubu and literally thousands of the brightest Nigerian minds, home and abroad, are missing that you alone see Crystal clear. |
Reflect7:Indeed. Add sociopathy also. With the last chapter below been very pertinent description of behaviour we all associate with them. I.e "they lack remorse or do not regret their behavior".
|
Satazaa:They won't deal with this tragic reality that is now the fate of most Igbos in their region of origin today. Their 24/7 obsession remains going online to demonise, demarket and badmouth everything/everyone Yoruba while their seriously troubled home continues burning to the ground. |
Difrent:That one is the quintessential hypocrite of all hypocrite. If Kanu and Ekpa are caught korokoro, on video, gunning to death 20 unarmed men, he will tell you it is "Yaribas" who committed the act wearing Kanu and Ekpa masks. |
Chibuzoc:As usual, this one typically prefers living in denial than admitting there is a problem as Chimamanda did. No on is telling you Igbos no longer live in the East. Sensible and truthful folks are saying Igbos, of all Nigerians, are fleeing their region of origin the most, never to return, because of problems Igbos have caused for themselves. Igbo land is now unsafe for Igbos because of Igbos and not "Yaribas" or "Aboki". Deal with that reality Kanu and co, that you all celebrated and handed your lives over to, have caused. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/envy-jealousy-causing-problems-in-south-east-cubana-chief-priest/%3famp Envy, jealousy causing problems in South-East — Cubana Chief Priest |
iamnotillicit:Those ones cannot wait to escape the misogyny, chauvinism, brutality and insecurity of the SE for safe and civilised parts of Nigeria like the SW, SS, NC and FCT. |
Cyberterror:Indeed. What confirms Obi a failure more than the fact that Anambra folks boku Lagos? |
She has spoken the truth and admitted, unlike the thousands online living in denial, the "casual disregard for life" in Ala Igbo today has now gotten the south East to this stage where it is a region Igbos flee, to Lagos and Abuja etal, never to return. You lot always attacking Yorubas, calling them all manners of ungracious things, why are you silent? Your heroine has spoken . Are you going to tag her "efulefu" too so you can bask in your infamously irresponsible approach to life whereby you prefer to blame others always for your self-inflcted woes? |
seunmsg:100% correct. Some folks cannot detach their emotions from.politics. This is why they have been getting it wrong, per national politics, for decades now. |
fineboynl:It is only the SE that votes hatefully and emotionally to the extent of cutting their noses to spite their face.. All other Southern Governors who decamp to APC will be re-elected as long as their people are happy with their political leadership |
chiiraq802:And dismembered bodies of young men floating in numerous rivers across Anambra State. |
abc115:Lol. Can't you see below how Obi turned Anambra into Dubai jam Singapore in the 8 years he was President? Dozens of bodies, with organs harvested, appearing in Ezu Rivers while the conman Obi, the chief security officer of Anambra, was busy offering 5 million lamba reward. Most of you Obidients should be stand up comedians because you're wasting your natural talent lol.

KobolanderSegun:Indeed. The most developed nations of the world are secular or, at worst, moderately religious because they accept that politics and public administration should be separated from religion. Politicians have no business advocating for religious control of the law of secular societies, through Sharia or similar, because secular law and Courts already exist to handle judicial matters. I wish South Africans well but hope they take a firm and principled stand against this 'incursion' as OBJ and Nigeria could not when Zamfara State, in 1999-2000, succeeded to become the first Nigerian State to enshrine Sharia into law with other Northern States following quickly. The rest, as they say, is history and we are now deplorably where we are today. |
SmartPolician:Sanusi is a hypocrite abeg. He has always talked the talk yet incapable of ever walking the walk. The North cannot be rescued by leaders who cannot take the stance, 100%, that the problem of the North begins and end with Northerners themselves and not "Yoruba President" or "Southern advantage". Like the Hausa man below insist is the case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEczxfZ1s7Q?si=VQuXUy46U11cOfLL |
VeeVeeMyLuv:No she is not and that is even the fundamental cause of all of our problems IMO. Nigerians will never be able to unite because we are very different people, with starkly contrasting values and outlook, being forced to coexist. Imagine Israel and Iran sharing same geographical space all for the sake of nationhood? A disaster for sure. That is the self-destructive reality of Nigeria today. Since we are in agreement on our retrogressive lack of homogenous unity, across ethno-religious and socio-economic lines, what is your take on tackling issues? We can see, from stance their leaders took, what Yorubas believe should be done to adress this fundamental and crippling schism between regions and ethnicities. Tell me your own solution because I am always wary of those who say, correctly I must add, that Nigeria is not a united Country and then declare uncompromising support, like the broken record Gidgiddy, for balkanising of Nigeria knowing our constitution does not allow that and the North will never willingly accede to such. Yet same people are never in support of what is shown below. Fact is that Nigerians have not reached the level of selflessness that will allow all citizens to accept what is shown below unilaterally. Most Nigerians, especially those from the North and SE, use excuses to mask their real agenda which has nothing to do with what is best for Nigeria and all Nigerians. https://punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/

Shawarmagirl:You're a hater of the "Zoo" and your fellow Nigerians but your assertion is correct for ambitious and progressive Nigerians who accept that admitting the truth to oneself is not weakness. It is strength because having the clarity of mind to see what you do wrong is essential to correcting mistakes to then go on to make great progress. The same cannot be said for you and your bigoted "anti-Yoruba" ilk though. Your castigated of Nigeria is not objective and never delivered because you want better for her. Merely the utterances of enemies-within you lot have always being and will always be. |
Trymeee:Agree with the bolded . Nigerians feel that having a large economy, in comparison to others, signifies strength and success. It does not. True success for nations is always reflected by how national economic success facilates the best and most rewarding life for citizens. Switzerland is regularly ranked 20th in the top economies of the world yet I know, from direct experience and research-driven knowledge, that the Swiss people have better quality of life than most nations ranked 1 to 10 in the top 25 economies of the world . This is now the case with Nigeria and the likes of Benin Republic etal. Sure we are always in the top five ranking for biggest economies in Africa but the sad truth is that this is not reflected in the lives of Nigerians. Our average people, not the Adenugas and Dangotes etal, are today worse off than average Beninoise whose economy is not even in the top 20 in Africa.

Evilthoughts:Bro, South Africa is not a "small African nation". It is the nation others in Africa need to learn from. The SA v Nigeria gbas gbos is more socially-driven and will endure forever because humans are competitive like that over issues related to social bragging rights. Nigeria v Ghana jollof for example. Trivial but passionately contested argument. The Politics and economic success/failures of nations is different. It must be viewed/discussed with facts rather than sentiments and emotion. If the focus is on national politics and economic output, which is my preference to discuss, then I think we should humbly accept we have a lot to learn from SA. That is the truth most Nigerians may not wish to accept. Accepting this reality does not belittle us. It would simply mean we have the mindset of winners because winners learn from those better than them to improve and win. I am always hopeful Nigeria can be like Japan and Germany after the second World War. Two nations who accepted that costly mistakes had reduced their worth glory and standing considerably. They disappeared for a considerable period of time, went into Ghost mode to focus internally and solely on a return to greatness, to then re-emerge economic leaders of the world. This is what Nigeria and Nigerians need to do rather than dwelling on past glory or potentials. I.e humble ourselves absorb knowledge and good economic practices from others to then emerge truly dominant and meritoriously worthy of the tag "giant of Africa". |
