DMerciful:Ok. Let see how that goes then. We are all speculating currently but not long to wait before issues become clearer. |
Tochi3:Bro, I have heard you. Mark my word today. The main core character of a male, once a grown adult, is discernible and unchanging largely. For example, you either have balls or you dont. You cannot be a coward, as a grown man, to then transform into a brave warrior able to confront and dominate ogres without flinching. Whatever Obi becomes or does not become, his sojourn in politics will never be remembered positively because he is woefully defficient as a leader. Not a curse. Just solid prediction based on conclusions anyone can derive from the core character of Obi we have seen as second nature to him through his more than two decades-long involvement in Nigerian politics and public administration. |
DrMB:100% factual and logically consistent truth only sentimal and emotional folks will disagree with. |
Tochi3:Bruv, you are educated. Fault the logic in author's reasoning so you will not be a let-down mentor to your children when it is time to teach them how to transition from children into winning and conquering adults. The author merely repeats what many of us have stated for ages about Obi. I.e he builds nothing and no one, as a leader , because he does not have the capacity to. Meaning apex leadership will never achievable for him. In Nigeria character like Obi, distinctly a sheep and prey, rather than a lion and predator, never reach the apex of political power. Even if he does get to aso rock, by dint of providence and divine intervention, as GEJ , another misfit, managed to do then an impotent Presidency , as GEJ endured, is the only predictable outcome because of the power base Obi could not build as a result of lacking the natural talent of "lions" to be dominant in any Jungle. In the federal Jungle, Obi, a Sheep always and forever, will stand no chance against the Lions who will swallow him whole. Everything Obi has done politically has been 'gifted'. Non has come as a result of brutal confrontation, with no option of backing down, to then see him emerge a meritorious and gladiatorial victor who has slayed 'Monsters'. He flees when it is time to fight. He hides when confident visibility is the only option. He is reactionary and waiting to be put out of his misery always whereas better advancing on the front foot as natural winners, like Mike Tyson and Jagaban etal, always do. A shame you guys, because of a sentimental and emotional engagement with life, have gotten yourselves to the pathetic stage of propping this grossly inadequate chap as your messiah. It will always end in tears with Obi even if, as impossible as that is to contemplate, he becomes President of Nigeria. |
DMerciful:Just joking bro. No offence meant. A bit of humour is all. On a serious note, no Nigerian Party today, serious about winning, will make El Rufai her Presidential candidate. His is a very unpopular character with no appeal to any region currently, including his own. He will be a liablity that electoral spin doctors and analysts, which all serious Parties have, will advise their employers against giving their Presidential ticket to. Too much extremism, divisiveness, disruptiveness, troublemaking baggage and clandestine association with callous 'termination' of many Nigerians. That is why I countered your post with a joke in the first place. I would love El Rufai to be Presidential candidate of the ADC so the election can be over and in Tinubu's favour by 12.00 noon the same day Nigerians cast their votes. |
Lol. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed dey vex. Man just dey give ADC and her desperado leaders gbas gbos since Tuesday. It is well sha. As Igbokwe said, guyman Ralph Nwosu, ADC previous.owner, is the luckiest man in this season of desperado Guy quickly chop, clean mouth and stepped down sharperly for the money-miss-road desperado to fight it out. Clean money with no EFCC yawa 😅😁🤣🤣 |
DMerciful:😅😅😅😁😁 Bro, which primary school, secondary school and University did you attend? Abeg no vex, I need to know to ensure non of my children, or even those of my worst enemies, attend any of them. |
Gentledove2001:No he is not and you are sounding liks his blindly adoring but uninformed fanboy. This is same Atiku, over Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan's sexual harassment claim against Akpabio, who rushed to prejudice opinions publicly by announcing that "Akpabio has a history of such behaviour" i.e "sexually harassing" women. How much more reckless, thoughtless and irresponsible than that does it get? Coming from a former VP and elder Statesman as well against the sitting Senate President of his own nation that nothing has been proven against? I can list at least ten similarly disgraceful public outburst from Atiku in the past year alone. Even today, he has attacked the Tinubu Government because Nigeria is not in a list of economically bottom tier African Nation invited to meet with Trump whereas all the nations that form the top six economy of Africa, including Nigeria, were not invited either !!!! You fanboys need to read more so you have greater knowledge and depth to carry your argument or defend your claims. |
seunmsg:Lol. Respond ke? Impossible to get up against such a savage uppercut.😁😆😅
|
Kai !!! Twitter na leveller !!!! " Aunty mi Light dey ...shey integrity dey you side? ". Classic and brutal retort @LinusManna is a savage . 😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

benardtotti:The dont think na. All that needs to happen is for them to sight news they feel they can spin negatively to demarket Nigeria plus her current government and, sharp sharp, they rush online to post garbage without engaging their brains. They've learnt well from their messiah Obi who is a master at doing that to his own personal ridicule time and time again. |
Peakdesign23:🫨 With that big flat head? Anyway, and as they say, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" indeed. Lol. |
Amumaigwe:Everything is about Tinubu to you. When will you grow up and let go of sentiments that impair your logic? The entire world is resisting and fighting Trump's lunacy and dictatorial disregard for the basic human rights of others and you are here shouting Tinubu. Since the odious Trump came along, it is now easier and much quicker to count the nation still supportive of the US than those that are now her overnight enemies. Yet you reckon this is a character we should seeking the sycophantic approval of? Abeg grow up. |
Codes151:Shockingly so. Trump's flirtation With Elon Musk that has now ended in tears, especially given that Elon Musk is orignally South African and in the category of "foreigners" Trump detests, aptly illustrates with a joke the President of the United States is and how impaired, irrational and haphazard his judgement is. He has gone from one disaster to the next with his crew of arrogant racists and misguided nationalists that make up his frontline team. Nigerians should therefore be upset we are not invited to meet with him along with an economically lower to bottom tier group of African nations? We should actually be jubilating because this is the same Trump that, like or hate them, has already picked a fight with South Africa that happens to be one of the most important nation in Africa. Joke thread full of joke reasoning. |
Atlantis585:By your logic and reasoning, every negative indictment you allege against PBAT must similarly also apply to the leaders of the biggest economies in Africa i.e South Africa, Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, and Ethiopia since those nations were not invited either. God gave us brains to try and use independently and productively. Not to reduce the organ of intellect and reasoning to one smaller and less useful than that of an ant because of primordial hatred , irredeemable bitterness and lack of objectivity towards others.

hush15:You are an illiterate regarding macro-economics analysis. FDI under Presidents never reveal the big picture as far as discerning the contribution , or lack thereof, from individual States of Nigeria. This is because FDI for Nigeria, taken as a nation, can vary subject to global conditions and the performance of the President in power in relation to paving the way for greater inflow of FDI. When we then break down issues to discern info related to how States are doing, per attraction of FDI, it is obvious that Lagos, specifically because of exemplary leadership starting with Tinubu and continuing with his successors, has managed to grow it's capacity, virtually year on year, as the State with by far the largest share of FDI inflow into Nigeria. If a President does well, and assuming global overarching economic conditions are favourable to attract greater FDI into Nigeria, investors will be attracted to Nigeria but they must still do their due diligence to note which State can maximise ROI (returns on investment) for them. That majority they settle on Lagos, incrementally every years, should reveal the brilliance and efficacy of Lagos leadership to any truthful and objective Nigerian. A President can convince foreign investors to consider Nigeria but the reality is that most of those investors, after doing their feasibility studies, will invest significantly less in Nigeria if Lagos is not the exemplarily investment-friendly environment it is in comparison to other States. Meaning cumulative FDI inflow into Nigeria would be significantly smaller. Keep fooling yourself baba. Na you body the problem dey. That is why reality means nothing to you and you prefer lying plus living in denial.
|
hush15:Complete hogwash. In so far as it can be factually proven that Tinubu, while managing year in and year out large influx of economic migrants from all other States of our nation at a rate no other Nigerian has to deal with, has elevated Lagos to the extent Lagosians are the most opportuned, sophisticated and productive Nigerians in Nigeria, then you have no point. Maybe you need to do simple research to note what % of total FDI into Nigeria Lagos was responsible for before Tinubu took over in 1999 and the reality of how Lagos, completely in opposition politics the entire lenght of Tinubu's leadership of the State, now attracts 75% to 80% of total inflow of FDI into Nigeria today. You people only know how to argue sentimentally and ignorantly, never logically or factually, as your allusion to "occultic governance" proves. If we do the stats, figures and juxtapose with their correlation to the socio-economic development of Lagos post 1999, discountenancing your belief in unscientific occult garbage etal, it is obvious Tinubu has done spectacularly well. To the extent of positioning Lagos as the premier State of Nigeria and a geographical space now universally termed a "nation State" within Africa for the socio-economic powerhouse Lagos has become. Meaning you people are just driven by hatred, vindictiveness and primordial bigotry. |
Okoroawusa:Don't mind him. People like him are scary to me. I judge them by my own standard. Meaning that I will never deny what is true or proven reality merely because of hatred for individuals. Even my worst enemy I will not deliberately lie against or fail to give credit to where/when due. I'd like to think it is because I am just wired that way. When I then see others doing opposite, i.e blatantly lying and and denying what is evidently proven, I get taken aback thinking how naturally wicked and dark their souls must be as human beings. The reason is that most human beings, though not saints by disposition, know what is wrong to the extent they never display their wrongdoing publicly. They are ashamed of it and will usually hide what they do wrong so they are not found out. This means the human beings who publicly and unapologetically revel in telling blatant lies, cheating, stealing, defaming others, peddling falsehood (like Buhari dead and replaced by Jubrin from Sudan) etc, etc are sociopaths by nature. Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is an example. Those type of people revel in doing wrong and even take immense pride in such. As simple as that and, to me, that makes them perverse, abnormal and dangerous. A menace to society and their fellow men/women. |
hush15:You guys keep making this slanderous and baseless allegations that does not stand the test of logical scrutiny whether such is from Nigerian, African and even global expert, informed and objective voices. Expert socio-economic analysts worldwide credit Tinubu as the reformer and transformer of modern Lagos. Yet we know why you, likely a layman with no formal training in economic and infrastructure development, would say otherwise to then be hailing a total zero like Atiku, with nil history of developing anything or anyone, as fit and desirable. Below, as damning evidence of your malice and lack of objectivity, is glowing praise, through a research case study from the citadel of higher eduction that is Princeton University, for how Tinubu and Fashola reformed and transformed Lagos. Yet you, a sentimental and clearly based individual, wish to convince that your version of event is the truthful and accurate one? You lot are something else. You people really need your own nation to stay in and never leave because it is clear you sort, with your penchant for lying and blatant denial of accepted and proven reality, do not belong amongst progressive people mainly focused on growth and development of geographical spaces they inhabit. https://successfulsocieties.princeton.edu/publications/remaking-neglected-megacity-civic-transformation-lagos-state-1999-2012

madridguy:This is a major point you have made. Highest level leaders, like Presidents who have many other leaders under them, are exemplary at leading other leaders therefore gaining their loyalty, followership and mentee willingness. Tinubu has this with literally thousands of political devotees amongst Nigerian political leaders. Atiku has little to zero because highest level leadership is not natural to him so he can never excel at it. Not his fault as Atiku cannot give what he does not have |
It's all politics ojare. No big deal as worst enemies yesterday can be best friends today in politics. The main issue remains that they dont have the capacity or talent to depose Jagaban meaning this new found romance will be in divorce court after 2027 ADC loss lol. |
Wow !!! RIP to a Nigerian Legend. Same to Diogo Jota. Tragic news. |
BabaCommander:More greedy than Atiku who would not cede the slot of the South to a Southerner in 2022 ? |
meum:Wike has said he won't contest against PBAT so rule him out. Unless PDP micro-zone to SE or SS then Makinde stands a good chance. He has expressed interest in being the PDP 2027 candidate and is a current Governor with state funds behind him. |
Bentacur007:How is this possible? Atiku has no goodwill or influence left in PDP. He'd have struggled to be the 2027 candidate of the PDP let alone install anyone else. |
21lucky:Respect is reciprocal. Good manners is rewarded with similar in return. That is what baised and clannish individuals can never understand. You need to show where I display lack of good manners towards those who have operated with same on NL that is full of agberos who them play saints when others respond in kind. |
Justnation:Really? There must be another Nigeria in a different Universe to this one then because it is there that the bolded can apply. Per Obi, he is nothing but a carefully packaged fraud who is empty in reality and about to throw away the trump card that worked well for him in 2023. I.e his independence and detachment from the very ruinous and leprous hands that have destroyed Nigeria over decades now. These are the same people many fed-up Nigerians which to see the back of hence the perception Obi was change which consequently led to his good showing at the polls in 2023. Now Obi is in the ADC and the choir boy of the gang who, one by one, can be accurately implicated in getting Nigeria where she is today. I wonder the miracle you people feel will happen to make Obi's supporters, who followed him staunchly believing he reperespents "change", to cast their vote for Obi or ADC in 2027 when they now see Obi cavoting happily and gleefully with the enemies of Nigeria they believed he despised and would never have anything to with as a harbinger of "change" and a "new Nigeria". What "change" and a "New Nigeria" can Atiku, Malami, El Rufai, Sule Lamido, David Mark, Aregbesola and literally thousands of destroyers of our Nation deliver in the eyes of many who voted Obi for "change"? |
yarimo:Indeed. Bar Northern youths, who are always 'teleguided', and SE youth, who vote with hate-influenced sentiments, most Nigerians youths will stay at home, that go out to vote ADC, even if they cannot bring themselves to vote APC and PBAT. That is because this particular group of voters, that swelled Obi's vote in 2023, will find it repellent to vote ADC and Atku etal either as they view them a desperado coalition of same ruinous and leprous hands who have ruined and failed Nigeria over decades and have nothing to offer today. That is the reality some don't want to face because they are only dreaming of the outcome they want, I.e the ousting of PBAT, without noting the consequence of what will predictably happen with how Atiku and co are gathering, from top to bottom, a free-for-all congregation of the greatest number of confirmed failures and disgruntled losers in Nigeria to now package as "change" and "saviours". |
phantomxx:Me concerned about Obi ke? I'd have to respect him minimally for that to be the case. I was merely pointing out what is very obvious that most of you are failing to take into account because of your desperation to see PBAT removed. Obi, whose appeal was a carefully-contrived image of being different to the ruinous old boys who have destroyed Nigeria and refuse to leave the stage for others, has joined the very people he got good political support for distancing himself from in 2023. Do we need to resurrect Einstein so he can explain to you what this will do to Obi's and ADC' s electoral fortunes in terms of voted from the specific demographic group of young and idealistic Nigerians craving "change" and a decisive move away from the ruinous and leprous old hands they believed Obi represented? |
21lucky:Happy you've noticed my presence here to conclude I do not "know anything". Unfortunately, I am not even aware of you here. So, would that be all or do you have anything else to get off your chest? Lol. |
