Not everything seen elsewhere is good for Nigeria. Some nations like Japan and China, with paucity of space, have no choice but to find innovative solutions to accommodate many in small space.

This can lead to what is called the concrete jungle effect with loads of skyscrapers and tall structures to accommodate large population at the expense of aesthetic beauty and natural landscape taking in parks, green life etc.

Nigerian leaders simply need to lead well so population can be spread evenly across States of our nation that is large enough to accommodate us all and even stylishly in an architectural and town planning sense.


It is an aberration our smallest state Lagos host 23 million people yet Niger State, several times bigger, has a population of 7 million approx.

The big picture is far more complex. For example, Lagos and Ogun owe a large stock of the debt of the SW.

This is why we need State or regional policing. Travel and tourism could be huge and a significant earner for the SW if security is very good аcross the entire region.

In today's world any section of the country can do what the North did in 1960. Give us the Presidency or we leave Nigeria. They are just not conscious.
Rotational Presidency is good because without it the NW and SW can continue monopolizing the Presidency but it must be fair and equitable too and if it is fair and equitable then the SW and NW will still have more slots than others. The North have to wake up and smell the coffee. They have nothing to bargain with. They need to have their own revenue and that is most important.
