pacesetting: Now you are disguising . Good we are getting somewhere. The last election was not all you mentioned just because one man who came third is sponsoring propaganda for mind control of his gullible followers, lieing unprovoked while attacking & discrediting every institution of Govt once things don’t go his way. Yes there is room for improvement, but was the best election we have had in the last 25 years— in my opinion. A new party usurped the major opposition, produced several legislators in the process. Yet you wan to rubbish every other person’s win just because you lost.m your own pursuit. It’s dubious, selfish and narcissistic. The court is the only place to prove your case, not hear-say, beer parlour rumour or emotions. Your lord, Obi knows this, but has bungled the case due to his usual all talk- no substance, tackiness and lack of preparation that has described his career since his days as Gov. That’s why he has looked for a new narrative, and is already weaponising the fickle emotion of you Obedients to start another victimhood meltdown. Be smart! You are being played by a master schemer. 1 Like |

pacesetting: “Hatred” , “Victim”, bla bla bla. These are the only words you guys use once anyone does not join in your emotional blackmail rollercoaster. The poster I replied already made it about your demi- god just like everyone of your fellow obidients screaming “Atiku knows he didn’t win” even without understanding the thread. But of course you’ll gladly ignore that in your usual victimhood and dishonesty. Your obviously dubious manipulator of a saint never had a case to begin with. You can cry all you want, your Obi is a pathological liar who is not different from all the other politicians you are placing him above. “INEC didn’t give him documents to nail them” ? Just hear yourselves. Always scheming and blaming and then result to petulant tirades when they beat you to your game. For a guy who boasted just weeks ago, he had evidence and will prove to everyone how we won the entire election. Only to result to manufacturing witnesses on the fly, doctoring evidence, etc. if you seek a position, you work, form alliances and bid your time, not reality to dark arts of character assassination of your opponents, weaponised the emotional imbalance and ignorance of a mob, cyber-bullying, propaganda and lies. It didn’t work then, it won’t work now in case you are not paying attention. You are not victims, you are just sore schemers who lost an election. Incompetent lots |

YouandiAllofus: Simply because they are co-defendants in the case— as your lord and master joined them in the suit. The same way INEC defended the results that declared Adeleke winner in Osun against the APC. Never mind that, you can keep on being getting emotionally manipulated—- it’s the price to pay for lack of perspective. Obi has most of you where he wants you and will milk the herd ignorance with ruthless narcissistic expertise. He did not and is not winning anything, anywhere against anyone with this empty charade of his. He made so much mouth yet fumbled a basic case. As usual it’s everyone else’s fault not his nor the tactlessness of his legal team. The next thing for him to do is unleash his usual character assassination onslaught against the judges, and their families. You and other zealots will get riled up per usual, claim victims, run with another narrative for the next few weeks, but will only end in wailing and gnashing of teeth. Nothing else. 1 Like 1 Share |

drugBaronTINUBU: Which profile of people did he appoint? You can’t name them? All you guys do is wallow in envy and sorrow at the sight of progress, you start explaining what no one asked you, throwing a bunch of meaningless words around with no substance. Everything is a competition to you lots in your small parochial Minds. It’s not everything you stress yourself to give explanation to as no one asked you. You don’t seem to be paying attention yet, all your “go and verify” propaganda, IPOB themed character assassination techniques pre-election did not work, and it’s not about to start working. You can knock yourselves out with fallacies all you want, the folks you are dealing with (or rather dealing with you) are veterans in this game. Like it or not, seasoned private sector led leadership built on strong processes and know-how based on verifiable track records is what you’ll get going forward. Not packaging of frauds who masquerade as intellectuals. |

Whitecoal711: This is the kind of myopic, self-destructive politics you guys play. You complain there is no infrastructure, a Govt is making provision for that, but because you “bigoted self-serving angry mob” have declared Soludo persona non grata for stating the true situation of things about “moneys saved” (and not pandering to your emotional leanings for a candidate), anything he does going forward is now useless. The propaganda of hate is now unleashed full swing on Soludo. The work of Govt is to build infrastructure and provide an enabling environment for business to thrive. If you don’t like it, go and secure loans and build farms. The several thousand indigenes( some of who are into agri-business) will see good road to transport their produce. I am sure they are happy. Tomorrow now, when it’s time for him to contest for presidency, you will change Mouth and say he is the best thing since sliced bread,—-gaslighting everyone just because “he is our man”. Leave politics for once and commend laudable initiatives. |

Brendaniel: Excuses, excuses and excuse is all you are giving. Some of you just regurgitate propaganda like robots without any form of critical thinking, and wish it to be true. So let’s even go to with your thinking and assume the stalling of the Akwa Ibom and Delta ports (that have since been concessioned with no single progress) is the fault or the FG, how is the completion of the one in Lagos a problem? Isn’t it to serve Nigerians from all tribes still? Or would you rather the stakeholders abandon it like those of Delta, Akwa Ibom? Just so to appease your sense or envy? You guys should stop this crab in the barrel mentality just because of hatred driven by political sentiments. Elections will come and go, but these infrastructure will power more businesses. It’s not every thread you should be commenting on and spewing pain and hate. It’s okay to overlook some at the risk of sounding really imbecilic. 10 Likes 1 Share |

obyno82: Yet you celebrated the overpriced, bogus, and lousy airport that was built with not strategic thinking to the critical mass of people in the state. How do you guys find a way to complain about a mega city having a tram line like this for any reason? Everything is not competition. The 1M+ people to be transported daily is enough reason this is a strong proposition, giving the amount of time people spend in traffic. Find other threads to complain, this is not the thread for Gods sake! 1 Like 1 Share |

pocom35: The sheer amount of ignorance bedevilling Nigerian youths is out of this world. Rather than ask questions, they curse, hyperventilate, spew bigotry foaming in the moth while chiming in on issues they know nothing about. Yet they swear they know what they are doing when it’s obvious they are victims of “group think” due to crass ignorance. Now imagine the problem society finds itself with these dudes having to vote as well. Totally ignorant, warped world view. We are talking about intracity transport, he is talking of bullet trains. The country can only be great if more state governors remotely even perform at this level, not leaving everything to the Fed Govt. Failure of other states in pulling their weight is the prime reason for the massive rural-to-urban migration we are seeing stretching the infrastructure of states like Lagos, Kano, Rivers, etc. The leadership keeps trying to solve the problem, yet daft folks want to criticise without thinking, sounding stupid in the process. Always having a reason to complain. 1 Like 1 Share |

God1000: Jobs from where? A state already plagued by over population and uncontrolled migration due to the failure of other governments. With loads of undocumented people from other countries like Niger republic, being ferried in droves, dumped into Lagos weekly only to become bike riders in few days albeit unlicensed, it’s is practically impossible for any govt to cater to this. Economic planning requires a great deal of controlled immigration. We as citizens need to understand how systems work before castigating every and any policy of Govt. For instance, the state has constantly solved for the overwhelming transportation mess with several initiatives in the last 15 years, yet people politicise things when elections are near for ulterior motives. We need do start waking up to the reality that a very small state by land mass, with a population of close to 30M will have to take drastic measures at times to address it every dynamic problems. 5 Likes |

Subsidywise20: So basically, it’s justified that he should be dishonest just because he is scared of the backlash from Nigerians. Isn’t his candidature built on the supposed values of truth, integrity and honesty ? How then are we suddenly using the supposed standards of other aspirants to judge this gaffe. As opposed to lying or deception, why not state what he plans to do, and give detailed explanation of why that choice is in the country’s best interest. Integrity is key. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

BluntCrazeMan: I agree. Another issue is that, the youths who are blaming the older ones lack any sense of depth. Celebrity culture and social media trends is all we care about. We can use social media to engage these politicians better on these topical issues. No, they’ll rather turn the whole drive to a bandwagon of noise where healthy debate is not encouraged. For instance, nothing stops the youths from organising a Twitter space— to invite aspirants (some will be willing to come), and ask them direct questions like: Will you restructure? Will you deliver state policing , how? and what timelines? But No, it’s all vitriol, stanship, etc. 1 Like 1 Share |

You people were already singing Kwankwaso’s praises just because there was news he was meeting with Obi for a merger. The youths already “Saintified” him, chanting he loves education, he is detribalised, he is not like other politicians, Obi-Kwankwaso will deliver Nigeria from the hands of evil men bla bla. This same Kwankwaso? I doubt anyone in the North is more ethnoreligious than Kwankwaso besides Buhari. Get it straight today, no saints in Nigeria politics, not even Obi who until last month was /is Atikus boy, a staunch PDP by blood. A major part of the decay in the last 20 years. So I will never buy the saint bias. Hopefully the youths will wake up and discuss candidates competence based on merits, while asking them tough questions on Governance. So far, all we have is a bandwagon of hero worshippers without any substance. Exactly the kind of drive that brought Buhari to Power. The youths should please be wise. 1 Like |

Tonypens48: Please you guys should cut Wike some slack abeg. He polled 237 votes even with people like Udon and co splitting southern votes. What you see on display right here is an act of blinded loyalty that the Northerners display to keep power in their region by all means. Wike could be a docile or gently as a dove, Tambuwal would still do the same thing under different circumstances. Isn’t Peter Obi gentle? Why didn’t Atiku and the Northerners zone the ticket to SE because of people like him. Nortehrners supper their own demons irrespective of their incompetence, character flaws and party lines, but y’all southerners like to form educated and over analyse things throwing your own leaders under the bus at the slightest. A former governor in Jigawa just gave ticket to himself and two kids, no Nortehrners has said a word since last week. Imagine If this was Lagos or Rivers state. The game is simple, it’s about keeping Power to the North after Buhari’s disastrous, bigoted and lopsided misrule, and all Northerners will work together to achieve this, irrespective of Party lines. If it comes down to it, Buhari will covertly support Atiku against his own party. Y’all will learn soon don’t worry. 1 Like |

But they are all protesting (including the supposed educated ones on Nairaland and Twitter) for a man to be stoned to death for alleged blasphemy. Watch how the ones who were venting yday and supporting the barbaric act have avoided this thread as it is an Islamic scholar. Why? because it is standard practice in the region. Yet, Ganduje was caught live on Camera stealing several thousands in USD (that can buy lorries of goat), did sharia do anything to him? VULCAN: I was just waiting for someone to say this! The poster you replied was trying so hard to act like he/she isn’t taking sides, but after a few post where he failed to answer the simple question: what is the actual justification for a threat or secession by Northern lawyers ? It jumped out as she kept blaming the NBA for being anti-north for dis-inviting El Rufai. That was it for me tbh. The fact is, it is the NBA’s prerogative to disqualify anyone (including El Rufai), especially as it is justified giving the ethnic and religious cleansing going on under his watch. Now, seeing this act purely from the point of view of an attack on Northerners is exactly the stuff of bigotry. The said poster, El Rufai and the Northern lawyers are complicit. Even if you have grievances, as members of NBA, there are internal mechanisms to address this, but as the bigots that they are (themselves, and their sponsor the Gov), they had to make it about religion and tribe. If everyone belonging to an organised national body threatens secession at every slight disagreement, how will we have a country? Pence was dis-invited last week in the US, heavens didn’t fall, neither did he make it about ethnicity, religion, nor go about sponsoring secession. 1 Like |
