Team UC. I've had to install over 90% of the browsers in Google Play Store .I took time to evaluate their performances. Eventually I had to uninstall all except UC BROWSER. In fact in some download sites you will be advised to download and install UC first for fast multiple simultaneous downloads ( up to 6 ). I have just UC and Chrome in my Gionee . Chrome because it was preinstalled and can't be uninstalled but I rarely use it. |
by samsono30: 12:24pmThe Chinese and some other Asian countries have it in their constitution that if fraudulent acts /stealing leads directly to the death of citizens , the culprit will most likely face the type of trial you are advocating . Unfortunately our own constitution does not have such a provision . Dasuki is charged for fraudulent act without any other strings. And the act is bailable. That was why three different jurisprudents granted him bail and now the ECOWAS court has reaffirmed same. Anything outside of that is pure sentiment, emotional and is unconstitutional. The President should send a bill to the National Assembly to amend our constitution to reflect the Chinese model instead of using sentiment and personal bias to becloud is reason and the law . Remember, we are no more in a military junta where one man can take unilateral decisions up to promulgating a decree with retroactive effects. |
Somebody is really afraid and needs complete loyalty and trust of his guards. It's better to forestall mass revolt than ' buy ' over your personal guards. Lots of discontent are blowing in the wind. The ECOWAS court just added another one. |
This Committee wants to exhume a case that was signed, sealed, delivered and buried after 10 years Don't they have more pressing issues to attend to ? Okay you want to recover the money ( impossible) or jail Odili (another iimpossibility). In any case why jump to 1999-2007? What of all those governors that served from 2007-2015? Maybe they have approached Odili and he refused to join their party . |
kurt09:Did you read the post ? It said phones that you hate not names of phones you know. Now, what's your grudge with GIIOONNEEEE ? |
by HisSexcellency(m):See crooked rationalization. In other words, APC and PDP are corrupt because it suits your imagination and serves your purpose. Why then is your boss seeing problems only with the PDP in his corruption fight if, according to you, what was good for the goose was even better for the gander. |
What can I say . Only EFCC and the presidency know why this is so. My only concern is that over 90% of Nigerians have lost confidence in the credibility of the corruption fight. |
herbie27:Hmm . Don't be so sure o .What happened during the Edo election may be a child's play come 2019 - forging, tampering and padding election results. |
babestella:Right . The EFCC should now investigate or has the CCB done their job as well ? |

lielbree:Who will break up Naijeria ? Make I hear word jare. "The crowded market has not noticed the people standing and you're talking about the people sitting". |
What is our government really up to ? - if we have any. And yet some people are rejoicing that another APC administration is to be installed in Edo state. Nigeria is in real trouble. |
Nigeria's problems are really deep rooted. So, with what APC foisted on Nigeria ( recession, depression, cluelessness etc etc etc) and the way it is going about governance, it was still possible that people voted for them? I doubt this election results or is that some of the Edo people sold their conscience for a plate of porridge ( #2,000 / vote as was reported)? |
APC and sharing money during elections are like bread and butter. I'm an eye witness during the 2015 generals elections in Lagos. If only Edo people will refuse to sell their conscience. |
Meanwhile, Boko Haram attack in two different attacks killed at least eight Nigerian soldiers in Borno state. It is obvious that Boko Haram is still very much around and our soldiers are doing everything possible to contain them. Why then even contemplate Swapping with "Chibok Girls" when this deal will reinforce their strength. I thought prisoners exchange is a post war thing. |
"Those who stole Nigeria dry are not happy. They recruited the militants against us in the Niger Delta, and began to sabotage oil infrastructure. We lose millions of barrels per day, at a time when every dollar we can earn, counts. It is a disgrace that a minimum of 27 states, out of 36 that we have in Nigeria, can't pay salaries".My question then is : Who financed /sponsored Boko Haram that fought and distracted the previous administration? Among the two agitators which one has a more reasonably equitable demand? Corruption is more than looting /stealing. |
http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/211236-7-billion-i-wont-apologise-soludo-falana.htmlAfter reading the above article and most of the comments made in ignorance by people, I have decided, henceforth, to use utmost restraint in passing judgement based on a one sided story. In other words, no more media trials and convictions. Is Soludo not exonerated now? Not only Falana but all of you that tagged Prof Soludo " a thief " and other derogatory names must also apologize. |
Agreed. Nobody is above the law. Justice must prevail. The issue here is EQUITY. Justice without equity will always breed discontent. If it is you, will you like it? |
Hehehe. I am liking this news. APC, forging, tampering and padding are like. .................. |
Are you see what I am saw? Former president Jonathan is on probe and trial. How? Can you really separate the head from the tail of a coin? Or are they divorced now? If Jonathan owns these properties after being a Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President, Acting President and President over a period 16 years,( a record) ,is it too much? EFCC should take it easy and, Mr President, please call your boys to order. Vengeance may be okay but forgiveness is a nobler virtue. Remember the biblical injunction: " Any of you without sin should cast the first stone ". Thus saith the Lord. Also do remember the Shakespearean play: SHYLOCK and the unforgiving demand for the pound flesh. You know how the drama ended. |
QuotaSystem:NO. HE IS TALKING ABOUT EQUITY. |
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the programme of events for the commemoration of Nigeria’s 56th independence anniversary. There is no mention of celebration here ( for those who were hasty to comment) . So let's hope it will be a low key thing considering the state of the economy. Not a Buhari fan though. |
Bad egg. Anyway this goes to show how the agency goes about fighting corruption for Buhari. The offender's name is immaterial - if you know what I mean. |
There is a very big disconnect between us Nigerians and our president. Why does he always report us to foreigners anytime we sponsor him abroad - like a class prefect reporting recalcitrant students to the principal. What does he really want to achieve by these careless, unguarded and unpresidential utterances. TALK TO US MR PRESIDENT AND STOP WASHING OUR DIRTY LINENS IN PUBLIC. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. |
I've said it elsewhere and I repeat : All politicians , without exception, have skeletons in their cupboards. The fact that one of them is being investigated is simply because the investigative agencies and the C-in-C have vowed to use every " law " at their disposal to, so to say, break that person's cupboard to expose the 'skeleton'. If only they can beam their searchlight with the same intensity, zeal, scrutiny and enthusiasm on " their own ". Well, some will say " use all means to get justice ". My contention is " What of EQUITY "? It's most likely that this victim of vindictiveness is not the wealthiest Nigerian first lady - dead or alive. Same here with the immediate past president - her husband. |

So many prominent and knowledgeable Nigerians have been advising this administration to form a stronger and more qualified Economic team to manage the current situation. This simply implies that the current team is incompetent and clueless. Yet some of the governors - who, by the way, have been demystified, want the status quo to continue for God knows why. That vote could never have been unanimous. APC Governors ko, monthly handouts/bailouts ni. |
You want to know what I feel about Buhari and APC, ANNOYING! The type that makes you dumbfounded. |
EFCC, Buhari and APC stop diverting our attention from your ineptitude and cluelessness. Arrest Patience Jonathan and her husband , recover all recoverables from them and imprison them if that will solve all our problems. Whereby it doesn't, the shame will be yours. Mtcheew. |
simplycarro:Bros abi auntie, for your safety, better stay away from the SE that day - as in on the monthly environmental sanitation days. See, even the bishops don't want any wahala. |
