Take off like 3 hours from work before you do so.
HMRC and Nigerian High Commission are now almost the same thing.
I just search for an alternative number from saynoto0870.com. They always answer fast cheesy

Someone gave a clear explanation and you just knocked it off by saying he is wrong.

To dey drop opinion for nairaland sef don dey fear person. Public forum oooooh!!!

FYI, I didn’t get taxed until after about 5-6 months in the uk and I was earning like 2k monthly. My only deduction was NI.
Don't worry you will pay the tax back. They will create a tax code to claw back any tax you didnt pay. You might not even realise they are doing it. My good friend just paid back about £6k

Tinubu has not done just one of these structured interviews to assess his capability. All he has been doing is dishing out millions to the north.

Was he and his team not supposed to have taken that into consideration before making the initial offer? A factor as paramount as that ?

The truth is that there is no system that will accurately give the exact number of fake accounts.
He has gotten them by the balls. It's part of negotiation tactics! If he withraws his offer now, he would pay $1b fine and walkaway. Twitter shares will tank or He can renegotiate and pay about $40 per share instead of $54

Omo. Those estate agents showed me fire (family of 5). Getting a 2 bed was near impossible so had to settle for 3. Even with that, at one point, I had to start lying about my number of kids till I saw a house where the Landlord requested he sees the prospective tenants physically. It was when I saw the Landlord was open to giving me the apartment I declared the true number of kids, guy man just added £100 monthly to the rent and said he was happy to do a 2 year contract with a 6 month break out clause which I accepted. It proved to be wise decision in the end as rent in that area is skyrocketed and I am just close to a year into the contract and salary increased 3ce giving me headroom.
Those estate agents cannot make heaven.

Hello house,

URGENT!
Anyone has a sure plug (an agent) for rented apartments (2 bed) in and round Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead, Chester and Liverpool for a family of 4 that just relocated to the UK about 2 weeks ago. The family is ready to cough out 3 months rent upfront.

Or better still, anyone with a 2 rooms in a flat to sublet for a short period of time (1 to 2 months)

NOTE: rightmove and other sites have not been helpful
Good luck with that. Based on my experience with a family of 5, the estate agents showed them pepper.

Possibly there are other places you guys shop.

He's untouchable nobody can hurt Elon he's just looking for small attention from his followers.
That's not attention seeking, he is letting people know about threat to his life. He already complained about a dude that built a bot that tracks his private jet. The guy is disrupting established car manufacturers, internet service providers, Twitter employees and now Russia...you don't want to be Elon right now!

You said it better. Nigerians just don't think rationally. That's also why the country is in the mess it is, no doubt. Dude's fears are legit. But it seems no one, at least not many people, care about the several unavoidable deaths on Nigerian roads daily. They believe it will never happen to them until it does.
Life is meaningless to them. They see it as normal for 200 people to be killed in a single day. There are still over 60 people in kidnappers den that were traveling on that ill-fated train on which that doctor was killed. No inquiry, nothing. Life goes on for them. @OP just look out for youself and don't travel anywhere!

So I have been dating my girlfriend for 3 months and she is perfect, actually she is a virgin, well behaved and very respectful. The relationship is going very fine but I am starting to really think deeply and I may just break up.
Why ? I have lived abroad for a while and do have a very serious phobia for travelling on Nigerian roads, her parents are a journey of 4 hours from where I am and I understand the area is rife with kidnapping and robbery of all sorts.

I find myself obsessing over having to make that trip to her parents place and also have my family embark on that journey and I always shudder at the thought of it.

I am seriously considering breaking up with her and looking for a lady whoose parents are here in the same city I reside, cos one of the things that gives me serious head ache is travelling on Nigerian roads.

Since I got back to Nigeria I have not travelled outside of the city that I am and it is because of how serious that phobia is.

But how do I tell her I am breaking up with her for this reason, it sounds very trivial but its a serious issue for me.
You have to understand that most nigerians are not rational thinkers that's why you're getting all these idiotic feedbacks. Your life is more important than any girl's whether a virgin or like Toke makinwa. Just let her go and find a woman where you would be comfortable commuting to in order to have a heathy and safe relationship.

i applied for a role that required Security clearance, and was shortlisted for the interview. Had the interview last week for one hour 30mins. Longest interview I ever had. Was thinking they will raise the issue of security clearance but they didn't. All fingers crossed. I came to UK in Nov
Don't worry once they give you the job, your access would be restricted until your clearance come through. I have heard about situations where the security guard escort you to the loo.
The security clearance process, most especially, the DV is very intrusive. Be ready to answer questions regarding all your escapades like having side chicks, watching porn and gambling. You cannot lie about these things becausethey already know! Not excluding your family history in Naija. God help you if you got a Russian babe from Plenty of Fish grin

If osinbajo eventually wins, it doesn't change anything. Tinubu camp will align with osinbajo and tinubu will even become stronger. Tinubu will likely be the de facto president just like late Abba kyari
That's not his ambition to become defacto president. He would probably go back to London and become a recluse.
