Sad as the story is, this is a REFLECTION OF SECURITY PERSONNEL DISTRUST OF THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

Sad as it looks, they may be released to go back to the trade in a few days time.
They are mostly teenagers whose potentials are to be harnessed by every sane society but what we see is a REFLECTION OF THE MANY DECAYING STATES ( moral, family, politics, education, economic, social, religious etc) OF THE NIGERIAN NATION-STATES.

I am tired of all these talk about corruption and injustice Mr. President!
Address the economy! Nigerians are suffering all over the land. Salaries cannot meet the needs of people. Everything is going up. Foodstuff is expensive.
Please, address the ECONOMY!

it is not bad in any way. The Maritime Universities are situated there because those are the best places for them to be- riverine environment.
It's a high time those from Delta state ask for a full fledged federal univerusity not only the specialised ones which cannot cater for the many admisson seekers from there.

The Nigerian education system does not have room for that. Ordinary PhD holder is meant for research jobs in academic or research institutions. But after the 'struggling' to get the degree where do you expect him to get money to start something.

I still insist that mothers must nurse their babies at least 1 year before sending them to creche.

it's very sad and disheartening to hear and see things like these. The fact is that there is NO state without these white elephant projects which are used to mortgage the future of the masses.
I always wonder why would a sitting government start a project with a completion time that is far beyond its tenure when it knows that our political system is so unstable on issues of continuity and is built on selfishness and not selflessness.
May God help and deliver Nigerians.

The use of drive is contextually wrong. From this notice, the meaning of drive used is effort-an organised effort by a group of people to achieve something. (DRIVE for something) or (DRIVE to do something).
Thus, in the notice, school fees is not something they want to achieve but the payment of school fees.
So, it should read, 'There will be a drive for payment of School fees...'
although, this still sound verbose and somehow ambiguous.
Why not something like:
OPERATION SHOW YOUR SCHOOL FEES RECEIPT BEGINS NEXT WEEK.
