Mr. Aritsejafor the funky CAN president should come out and blame the Muslim North since that is the only thing he knows. |
chukwudi44: This journalists are so unprofessional, what is the essence of politicizing this story by dragging Mbu into itBecause he is there to forestall these kind of things. May be Mbu's thinking and yours is that the state commissioner's work is to attack the governor. |
Considering what Jonathan and his madam have been doing of recent in Nigeria, one may just put them at pal with this man. |
psucc: It seems you are a foreigner void of any knowledge of nigeria politicking. The beauty of democracy is to have a robust opposition. Through these men we now have a strong opposition that will wake the ruling party up from their slumber. The end benefits are for the masses, people in authority will now want to perform in order to win the masses to their sides. The free and fair election in the last governors forum was their handiwork. The crack in the PDP could be traced to the hope each factions have on them. Do you think Jonathan would have cared if not the fear of the APC? The speaker of the house of rep emerged through their effort. The only sanity we the masses can at least rely on in this dispensation. May be the senate shall soon follow suites. With all these there shall be robust debate in the national assemblies instead of the former "aye" and "ney" senators we have/had. If it were like this before, no how Jonathan can increase fuel price from 65 to 95 naira at once. |
taharqa: Oh! SHUT that mouth of yrs tha, Nitwit. Were it even remotely suggesting otherwise, you wud have been singing another song, loudly abi??.Oh yes it favours the big men or more sinister the big thieves. An average Nigerian depends on small and medium scale enterprises for survival. Epileptic power supply, high cost of diesel and petrol to power their firms, high interest rates on loan, zero price control, insecurity, and so many factors are sending us to oblivion and you are talking trash. |
Where is Tinubu?
So you don't know that the hope of any PDP faction is APC in which Tinubu is the Co- leaders? |
The formation of the APC they championed is now yielding result. At least no factions of the PDP can veto anything on us without involving the PROGRESSIVE party. With this the masses can now have a sigh of relief that their lives is not longer in the hands of few PDP mad thieves. Jonathan thank you also, your cluelessness/ineptitude took us to this great path. |
This dude is †ђξ major problem of this country!! Very cunning!
... And GEJ too who's ambition is the rout cause of these problems. If he is ready to compromise today, the whole problem will be over. |
They have not seen anything yet. Let them keep pushing POLYGAMY the only solution away in the name of westernization or Christianity. Check out the core African society that practices polygamy and tell me is not a solution to the complain above. |
Common, anybody can visit it at anytime provided you are cleared at the entrance. It is like an area with residential buildings ( private), ministries, Hotel( as in private). In fact if you have your money you can by houses there. But you know that area, you can't enter freely into someone's house without permissions or invitation, there is no free movement to where the president stays. |
owolabifunke14:. That is a stratagem of war- PROPAGANDA, its everywhere. |
DivideUs: have you been following recent events? as a northerner i promise you me like a lot of people i know pray for it, the only pro nigeria north is the oil benefiting fewWho is going to feel the heat most in term of 'IMMIGRANT'? If the name eventually die off, what are the likely name of the new countries? At least the Yorubas will choose Odudua republic(sorry my spelling of Odudua may not be correct), the North already have Arewa, the Igbos will certainly go for their long awaited Biafra, the South- South shall be called what? I just hope it is going to be peaceful if it eventually happens. |
emmydeep: @ poster. So without oil one can not live a happy life again? If the Igbos are so strong why have they refused to stand together firmly to pursue a united goal? At least after the late Ojukwu, Igbos have been reduced to 'i support' ethnic group in Nigeria's political circle. |
justhelp: Now I know that truly GEJ is heading to the doom, he can even be disgrace out of aso rock... Even before the expiration of his turbulent tenure! |
That is what Jonathan and his team don't understand. The kind of opposition he has now in the North will give him a very dirty fight the type he is playing also. Not like Buhari who is calling for free and fair election that does not exist anywhere on earth. These ones understands the terrain of Nigeria politics. Rig your way and attribute the victory to Allah or Jesus. |
I have decided to ask parts of the endless questions that troubles my my mind when i hear people talking about disintegration: *Why is it that we only talk about it when Jonathan seems to be heading to Otuoke in 2015? *Why is it that the North are not contemplating it? Is it patriotism or parasitism? *Who is going to face its consequences as wealth without pro-developmental leadership is hoarse? *Is it all the developed countries of the world that have our peculiar type of wealth(oil)? *Will the North be able to live with their vast lands all suitable for agricultural and technological advantages? *Will the south( south-south and south-east ) be able to live peacefully without the former claiming "our oil " syndrome and the later claiming population and technological advantage? *Will the west be able to also live with their exposures in education, international trading and ofcourse agriculture? *Don't we all know that we shall become automatic foreigners in our present country if you live outside your proposed country and shall be treated as if you are in Ghana? *Lastly, who is going to retain the word "NIGERIA"? |
Slizbeat: Tukur or no tukur, what will happen will happen. Though they will gather but if their gathering is not for the welfare of the masses, they must surely scatter..... Few hours ago, CPC pulled out of Anambra APC. Not upto 3hours, ANPP did same. So, one by one, they will die off.Of what relevance is those parties to APC in Anambra before now? Is like saying APGA senator pulled out support for David mark in the Red chamber of the National Assembly. |
dridowu: In my opinion , i think most we Nigerians lack orderliness, we like to jump the queue, which is bad, even here on nairaland we jump the queue by using dot to book space just because we want to be on the frontpage of a thread******** i also use dot to keep space*******mouth sealed. The day we are lucky to have a self disciplined duly elected president, half of our problems will be solved. It is just normal that the citizens should emulate their leaders. |
nerodenero: The Devil and his disciples can't overcome the church. He will definitely be put to shame. But majority carry the vote. If majority of the so-called men of God are into these mess, could it be deduced that Christianity is populated by his likes? |
hopilo: Don't Judge. God is watching usI just hope you are jesting! |
ckkris: The renegade 6, or, r6, are all outgoing 2nd termers, and therefore, have no power of bargain. Their walkout had no effect on the mini convention, because their followers were too few. President Jonathan is more acceptable to Nigerians than Obasanjo, who is generally perceived as a wicked, heartless man. And Atiku is even worse. Let the r6 go and join hell-Rufai & other renegades in the APC.By your summation, any politician that is against GEJ are all renegade. It should also be surmise that renegade politicians brought him to power. Where are we heading to in this country with such odious mentality? |
felifeli: Send your children to private school; simple. Then they can enter university at 12 if you likeConsidering the indescencies in our higher institutions, a child at 12 in it would have given credence to Senator Yerima's proposal. |
This is a governor elected by the people and therefore think pro-masses. Any body nominated by a thieving godfather will behave thus. Anybody that thief/rigg himself to power will do... Any body that sail through the back of ethnoreligious boat to cross will abide by the rules. Pre-nursery: our native language is lost. Our culture and core values are lost. The children lost motherly care. All lost to the foreign ideologies. I am only doing it to socialize with my environment. Even at that; my children usually start at the age of 3years or few months before it. |
Is it that GEJ'S government could not just accept its inability to stop MEND hence, his attributing the low oil output to imaginary oil theft? The statement by MEND is not pointing at oil theft but destruction of oil installation. Now GEJ declare state of emergency in the Niger delta as you have done to the North East if you are truly fair. Nonsense! |
Yungwizzzy: what really went wrong in pdp??JONATHAN! |
Welldone sir Mr. Jonathan by proxy! If the above is in his mind and he puts it into action, hw would have been President for life. But all his senses are as if blocked. |
... And the delegates went ahead to vote for failure including the Northern delegates that are now daily insulted by Jonathan and his dogs. In anycase, Jonathan has still not prove any different from all the allegation on the above bashing. |
albiol: 98 million naira to register a party? No wonder he wants to die there. No, it only means that he has to be respected in the PDP. |
Timehin: Agreed he may not be the best candidate but by virtue of events he's the president so why can't they allow him concentrate on his job and is it illegal/crime for him to re-contest? If they insist he had a gentlemans agreement with them, are they more nigerian than millions that voted him to power? If he should accept their so called agreement will that not be a negation of trust on the larger population of which they are a minute?Obassanjo was the first to flaunt a political arrangement with the North but he handled it with maturity made the game different. You know that respect is reciprocal. GEJ started receiving all these bashing from Nigerians when he started talking any how to our faces; * I don't give a damn. * The bulk of the votes i got fro from the North are from the igbos residing there. * The militants are not the one that Threw the bomb in eagle square, they are my people and i know what they can do. * Boko Haram have infiltrated my cabinet and latter came out to say they are ghost and he can't dialogue with ghosts. * He started employing people of questionable characters, Okupe been the worst of them. A lot of things like that. This was when the real insults and disrespect started coming in like wild storm. |
gabito4luv: How I wish this guy would be given the opportunity to hav kids and feel the pleasure of watching them snuff the life out of him. Nonsense. No be only Matrix cause amYes ofcourse may be after serving his jail term. |
