AuntLaVIV:It says a lot that these hostels look more organised, decent and well-preserved than the hostels in the regions premier university, UNN! I saw pics of the dilapidated FRANCO hostels a few months back and i wasn’t happy! |
AuntLaVIV:Nice pics! The environment looks well-tended! |
kcnwaigbo:I know that ‘feral’ is a typo....but it kinda fits as a description of what happened on the 23rd of February! ![]() |
Fine bobo! He should also think of establishing in the east as well! |
deepwater:So how will the hordes of underage almajiris up north vote? Not forgetting the fact most of the banks are controlled by southern Christians, so the muslim north can allege being disadvantaged. |
Validated:You make a good point. But they’d rather see the country go up in flames than allow such a ruling to fly! Without those fictitious millions of votes garnered up north Buhari would struggle to hit 5 million countrywide! |
Abagworo:It did look disorganised and compact with hardly any greenery! I think part of the reason is the villagers mad rush to take commercial advantage of the university next door! This disorganisation of villages, towns and cities due to commerce and industry is a feature you see all over Nigeria, not just the south-east! |
amaniro:I’ve analysed the reason for this. Up north (core muslim north specifically) they’re more of a cohesive unit and have a unifier in Islam. Islam dictates pretty much everything in their region; there’s little or no difference between politics and religion where Islam is concerned. This is why you have the Caliphs as both the religious and political leaders! This gives them an edge over the south and allows them to come together and rally for a common goal even though they’re from different ethnicities! Down south, we’re more disparate in our religions as well as ethnicities, and Christianity is more about ones personal relationship with God...having little to do with politics. Even when it takes a stand on a political issue, it’s not obligatory for Christians to adhere to any proclamations made! Colonial Britain noticed this too, and used it to their advantage....hence the direct and indirect rule in different parts of the country during the colonial era. |
okosodo:Sadly, that’s the long and short of the matter! They don’t know who’s really for them and who’s against them. This is why during the uncivil war, it was easy for outsiders to come in and sow the seeds of discord, suspicion and animosity among ethnic groups in the then Eastern Region who had up till that point been living peacefully together for centuries! |
Chubhie:In saner climes, when 40 citizens are slaughtered like nama at the abbatoir, the entire country would come to a halt and emergency measures will be initiated as well as flags flown at half-mast and a national day of mourning declared! Not in Nigeria! In Nigeria we read such news now while jejely sipping a nice hot cup of tea, and casually turn the page to look for some titillating news stories that would make us laugh! ![]() |
cactus1549:I’ve asked this question before...what informs the tagging of the murderers in the north-west as bandits, while those in the north-east are tagged terrorists? Do they wear identification tags when going out to commit mayhem? ![]() It’s all political! They tagged the north-west ones bandits so it wouldn’t look like terrorism has spread to the region/zone during the Buhari era! Remember they claim to have decimated and ‘technically defeated’ the bokos in the north-east, so agreeing that the problem has not been contained and has in fact now spread to other parts of the country is bad press and not good for the image of Buhari as the ‘saviour of the north’! ![]() |
Ochuksbaba:Bros, it’s like you don’t know the people you’re dealing with! They will brazenly militarise and rig the election and then turn around to to tell you ‘if you’re not satisfied with their ‘victory’, go to court’! ![]() |
baliyubla:Like he cares! ![]() |
asha80:Was that Uni they passed through FUTO? It looked well spaced out and had a lot of land! |
Good points Curlieweed! The meeting was done obviously before the outcome of the rigged elections were known. Sadly, Ohanezes’ calculations didn’t quite pan out as hoped! The points you raised are germane, but we can be proactive in this regard only in the restructured federation Dr Nwodo was talking of; or alternatively, in our own country! Dr Nwodo talked of supporting Atiku and PDP due to their favourable stand on restructuring, but personally i don’t see any northern president or the northern elite agreeing to a change in the status-quo that would revert the political-economic structures of the country back to its pre-66 settings, thereby giving them a kick in the teeth and leaving them with the short end of the stick! If anything, Buhari forcing himself on Nigerians makes that dream even more distant and unachievable! Buhari has an agenda to hold the south down while Personally, i thought those thinking they could remove the desperate likes of Buhari, Oshiomole, El-Rufai, Amaechi, Tinubu, Keyamo, et-al just by using their PVCS were a bit naive and too trusting! |

Now he’s ‘won’ elections there’s no need to pretend! ![]() |
ashacot:Ummunnemu my black ass! Since when did Igbos start taking a stand and forming opinions based on who Yoruba like or don’t like!? Nice one Reno....’ppreciate! ![]() |
kingthreatz:As opposed to youth from your region/ethnicity that are shinning examples of moral rectitude abi? |
PrimeGadgets:I've seen a clip of the new Kotoka int'l airport terminal. It's better than anyone in Nigeria! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_hhw3Aj54A |
AleAirHub:In Nigeria it wouldn't even have been left alone to grow this big. It would have become the star attraction in a delicious pot of alligator stew even before growing into adulthood! ![]() |
IvarTheBoneless:Was waiting for the bastard that would go tribal and lower the thread into the gutter....you didn't disappoint! This Usman dude, is he Yoruba? If not why using him for your ethnic bragging? Funny thing is the grp B you mentioned would gladly have you carry your Joshua, Ekundayo, et al and fuc/k off with your lovers up north to form your own country of boxers.....but we know who's clinging on to the other don't we? Shameless bigoted goat! |
oilPUSSY:Hehehehe ![]() Can picture you having a heated discussion with him and the moment he makes that unbelievably dumb statement, the fight just drains out of you as you stare back at him in disbelief! I mean, it's clear at this point that you ain't gonna get anywhere with him so you may just as well just give up! ![]() |
0balufonlll:Can't count the number of times i've heard you sneaky mofos use this line! Last time we moved back en-mass to the east what happened? Didn't you nasty lot send your genocidal armies after us like Pharaoh sent his armies after the Israelites? Recall our house of reps, bla-bla-bla....that's a bit premature, don't you think? Recall them, meanwhile you scheming bigots will still control our oyel and gas, and your thieving military, police and other officials will still be all over the east collecting customs and federally collected revenue....not to mention 'egunje' at roadblocks! Nice try! How many more of our youth have to be murdered in cold blood by your trigger-happy and murderous army before you get the message we're sick and tired of sharing the same country with you scum? See this fool wanting to act like he doesn't know Ndigbo/Biafrans have been agitating for a separate existence from his bigoted and hateful arsse! I can agree with your stand on Ndigbo returning back to the east and recalling their reps from the national assembly only if a date is fixed for a UN supervised referendum, and you get your leeching fingers off our oyel and gas! Shikena! |
luckyelems:Not necessarily! Could be he was struggling to drag them to the next level, but like a stubborn horse they just refused to budge! ![]() |
Melian:Shut up! Besides voting and being voted for in Lagos, how have 'eeebos beaten more than they can chew'....you this nasty, bigoted semi-illiterate!? |
mightyokwy:These guys are so paranoid....not to mention, two-faced! If they're tired of 'one Nigeria', then join IPOB to agitate for a referendum to determine it's future! All this Igbo-this-Igbo-that is all about the Lagos elections and their fear Igbos may vote en-mass for Agbaje (a Yoruba man oh) thereby loosening their godfathers' monkey-fist grip on the Lagos treasury! |
Anyone watched the above YouTube video yet? This is the Nnia Nwodo i love to see....he's mirroring my thought's exactly! If you can't watch the entire clip due to data reasons, FF to 28.33 and hear what he said about our brothers in Rivers and Delta states (of which i'm one) and plans to bring us all under one region...albeit, still within Nigeria! ![]() |
gberra:Dude, zip it! A curse coming from a spawn of satan like you is like water off a ducks back.....ineffective ASF! You're here yapping about PDP this and that! How many of the devils in PDP are now in your party of saints today? There's as much difference between PDP and APC as there is between six and half-a-dozen....both sides of the same coin! If anything, the nastiest and most remorseless looters and riggers have now ported to your party of saints and are now deemed to be 'born again'! You say PDP rigged abi? Assuming for the sake of argument we go along with your premise, what then is the change you schmucks have been mouthing off like a parrot on crack? You guys say you've done marvelously well in governance since 2015 abi? Then why toe the line of rigging with the excuse that PDP rigged and so you're just paying them back in their own coin? Why not trust the strength of your conviction and go to the polls for a free and fair contest? After all, you lot are now in control of all the security outfits and infrastructure so you can enforce sanity in the process if you really wanted to! Anybody that judged that farce of last Saturday as a free and fair election needs a brain surgeon and a new moral compass! A election in which rigging and tilting the playing field in favour of the despot Buhari started way before election day is what you're calling free and fair? *Your god didn't sign the electoral bill into law because it wouldn't have allowed you shameless lot access to the results in a slow and manageable manner that in turn would have allowed you to cook the figures as they gradually came in to give Buhari the rigged victory that's now giving you a stiff bone'r! *Knowing you had devilish designs on the election process, you now circumvented the laid down procedure to remove a whole Chief Justice of the Federation (the head of a supposedly independent arm of gov't), and replaced him with a compliant sharia judge from the core muslim north! *You appointed a INEC chairman from the same ethnicity (and possibly region) as Buhari...a reversal of the GEJ era when the INEC chairman was selected from an entirely different region and ethnicity from that of the president, and who GEJ said he had never met before! *You rigged the voters register...filling it with underaged almajiris and illegals from neigbouring Niger, as well as rigged the PVC collection process so it was difficult for southerners to collect (that's if the PVC hadn't been secretly destroyed or sold off) while up north they were even calling people to come collect theirs! *On the eve of the election, you sent thugs to go destroy the election materials for an entire state in the south-east...making the already difficult logistics problems in the zone even more dire! *The card readers in the south were slow to accredit...that's when they worked at all! *Thugs went to PDP strongholds and scattered the entire process...in some cases, even burning materials and votes already cast! Dude i could go on and on, but i don't have all night! Nigeria is a disgrace and the butt of all jokes in the civilised world! The sooner you guys humble yourselves and accept things just need to change (and i don't mean the fake ojoro change your god brought in 2015), the better for the entire country! |
kasheemawo:That's all you shameless scum are all about....winning election by hook or crook, just so you can say 'Buhari is your president till bla bla bla'! You leeches have had an inordinate amount of time (in relation to other ethnicities/zones/regions) to control power at the centre, yet your neck of the woods is still the headquarters of poverty, terrorism and illiteracy for the entire world! Fat load of good being president and head of state has done for una! Without 'one Nigeria' you pathetic parasites are nothing and you know it! This is why the likes of Mazi Kanu and IPOB scare the shi't out of you all innit? I have warned my people still daft enough to believe they can get anywhere sharing the same country with you bloodthirsty neanderthals, that they had better have a rethink! You lot think of nothing else besides how to scheme, bully and terrorise the rest of Nigeria into submission so you can steal unmerited power that you haven't got a clue what to do with! |
Josnac:Spot on! It's obvious this despotic regime cherry-picks the court rulings to obey and the ones to ignore based solely on how the ruling affects Buhari and the Arewa hegemony! Separation of the three arms of gov't my black arsse! |
