raker300:This is what i like to see! Though areas reclaimed should be landscaped and made to look appealing to the eyes. Normally, we just do the barest minimum without going the extra mile to make the reclaimed area stand out in a unique way. |
Musical interlude! ![]() The contributions of Ndigbo to the Nigerian music scene is unquantifiable and started way back from the 60s/70s. Enjoy this nostalgic number from Egwugwu; She's My Choice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K18Jo_3VKcQ |
Daewang:It's Spyder that caved in to the dirty tricks and schemes of those pathetic Igbo haters (like the fool two posts above yours) that felt threatened by the way this thread was ironing out a lot of issues and uniting Igbos from different states and regions into one formidable block! Notice the bastards that camped on this thread 24/7 when it was thriving....trying to start fights between supposed kinsmen, and posting old, degrading and disgusting pics of cities in Alaligbo in a bid to cause divisions in the ranks.....notice they've all disappeared now they think they've succeeded in killing the thread! Spyder should return the thread title as it was before. The rest of us can police those bigoted scum when they rear their ugly heads again, as i'm sure they're bound to do! |
MajorJeffery:Doesn't it strike you as being odd and deceitful that someone who purports to be president of an entire country can only find 'close confidants' among his religion and ethnicity? Isn't it bizarre that one who campaigned for and sees himself as president of an entire country can, by omission or commission, show he doesn't like or trust people from a particular section of the country? The fact that you and your like-minded brethren above see nothing wrong in this, and instead are cheering him on shows exactly how much of a fake union/nation Nigeria is! I've accepted the fact Buhari doesn't like Ndigbo....and following on from this, that he wouldn't feel comfortable selecting his CSO from among us! No wahala! But you shouldn't be surprised when the section of the country he doesn't trust and marginalises isn't comfortable having or calling him president as well! If Buhari cannot see the entire country as his constituency, and treat all sections equally notwithstanding how some may view him...if he cannot do this, then he has no business being president! He should stick to being patron of Miyetti-Allah, and let the rest of us have a president we know doesn't trust or mistrust someone based solely on which region they're from or which religion they profess! |
So much for ‘president of the entire Nigeria’...only comfortable with people from his own religion and from his own neck of the woods! When i tell you pretenders that Nigeria is not a nation, some will want to argue with me! |
Probably as they were making good their escape with ballot boxes! Well, Buhari warned them didn’t he? |
TonyeBarcanista:This should be the tallest building east of the Niger! Point-Block in Port Harcourt is 17 stories....i know cos i counted it! With the funds Akwa-Ibom have, they should not only have three or four of these highrise buildings, but have a functional INT’l AIRPORT as well! Oil coys and other multinational corporations would have to be really committed to transfer their headquarters or other administrative operations to Uyo if there’s no direct access to the outside world! |
supereagle:We wouldn’t be here discussing this if Ndigbo have as much devolved power and control over their resources and destiny as the likes of Scotland or Ireland have! ![]() |
opparadise:Well, if the government provided even half of all the infrastructure and social services these western world countries you mentioned provide then maybe more people will empathise with the Nigerian government. ![]() |
nicepoker101:Quite sad really! I used to have a lot of respect for this man! Now he’s thrown it all away for what? APC has ruined this mans hard-earned reputation, and it’s now he will realise he has no friends in that evil party that was just using him to try and get a foothold in Akwa-Ibom! Last-last, they will compensate him with chairman of NPA or something like that! |
natinhoo:Igbo-hating schmuck...Biafra is not yours to give! Or are you saying Igbos and other ethnicities that may want to form Biafra are your slaves, and signed away their liberties and fundamental human rights to you in perpetuity? What’s your ethnicity by the way? Just want to know who these people are that ‘love’ Igbos so much that they can’t bear to let go! |
gidgiddy:His argument is DOA! So Igbos should keep quiet and soak up all the marginalisation, hate, murder, and general madness that is ‘one Nigeria’ just b’cos other ethnicities haven’t grown the balls to ask the right questions and demand for a better deal for their people!? The only way we can say for sure what Ndigbo actually want is through a referendum! Shikena! |
KingAzubuike:You can’t understand Gods’ ways b’cos you’re looking at the issue with the small mind of a human! There’s more to Gods’ existence than what you see on earth. Besides, God gave humans freewill and if humans decide to neglect carrying out the appropriate safety checks...and apply sanctions where necessary, how is that his fault? So he should intervene every time humans cock-up...which is probably by the second!? Puny humans...as The Incredible Hulk would say! ![]() |
Didi2d:Don’t fall for his trick! He’s not Igbo....just using a Igbo moniker to try and stir the hornets nest! |
blackgold90:Hell would first freeze over before the frantic and desperate APC allow Kano slip through their fingers! |
BuhariAdvocate:Can you swear by the Koran you believe in your heart that those people caught were buying those PVCs to 'assist' PDP? |
Baawaa:He must have seen APC rigging and bullying their way to ‘victory’ in other states, and he said why should his own case be different! Apparently, he didn’t bargain on the strength of determination the Kano electorate have to see the back of him! |
MadeInTokyo:Any other proof needed to show Nigeria is a ZOO!? ![]() |
There must be something hardwired into their DNA that removes all fear of heights! They're bold ASF! |
gidgiddy:Bros, like you i doubted such a thing was possible, that was until i watched a programme that showed goats climbing the near vertical sides of a dam! I was speechless!
|
drtwist:What boggles the mind is that these are the very same people that claim integrity and claim to be 'change agents'! ![]() |
TB28:Bros, stop arguing with that guy! You could be here all day going round in circles with him....they're quite adept at being evasive, slippery and dumb! |
YeebozNemesis:After that, Oduduwa Republic! That way you can get them to leave Yoruba land for good! I say a big AMEN to all prayers b'cos, quite frankly, i'm sick and tired of your kind as well! I really want you to put your money where your mouth is and do something stupid! Hopefully, it would help reset the brains of all those gullible 'one Nigeria' brethren of mine, and make them realise they're sharing a country with utter scum like you! ![]() |
BotherMleeper:Oh please, spare us the sermon! If PDP is a northern party, is it APC that’s a welcoming pan-Nigerian one? We’ve said it time without number that Nigeria as presently sustained primarily to service the interest of the core muslim north, so you’re not telling us anything we don’t already know! You’d be naive to think any permutation that has to operate under the present status-quo can bring the much expected Uhuru to any southern region or ethnicity!....It’s been rigged to favour the north! |
360degreess:Is it any wonder the fortunes of APC have diminished in Alaigbo?....What with the bigoted, Igbo-hating likes of you running it’s affairs or being its cheerleader! APC is a anti-Igbo party! What did Imo State gain over and above other states in the south-east as a consequence of their governor ‘aligning with the centre’!? Last i checked, their governor was pilloried and subsequently unceremoniously kicked out of the party for his troubles! |
awelekiti:.....And against all odds! |
sonofspada:Don’t mind the fools! It’s a game they’re playing; they’re giving useless press conferences just so they wil put their name down as one of those who ‘complained’ about the elections, so when the EU, UK, US, etc, are looking for who to deny visa for inciting and perpetuating acts of violence, they will hopefully get confused when they see complaints left, right and centre! ![]() |
Ofuzo:Nah...dude is genuine! He was born in the UK, but his parents sent him back to school in Imo in the 70s, coupled with the fact they must have been one of the sensible parents abroad that spoke to their kids in their native tongue. These experiences are enough to make any commited individual fluent in both english and Igbo, and keep the accents for both languages as well! If you’ve heard Indian or Somali youths in the UK speak with their parents in their native tongues, you’d be impressed how they can switch accents so easily depending on which language they’re speaking. ![]() |
I don’t think anyone needs to tell you to add the source of this report! |
I’ve come to see this man as oka-ome, so i don’t doubt him! |
gidgiddy:Bros, you know this..i know this...even a new born baby knows this, however the north (specifically Arewa) don’t give a fuc’k! |
