globemoney:Even after correcting you, you're still arguing! Uche Secondus is not Igbo, so your thread heading is wrong! |
twerkjack:Please, just shut up! How come the elections in 2015 which were done when the PDP you mentioned were in power recorded far less violence and infractions compared to this orgy of bloodletting and rigging under the 'saintly' APC? What's happening is that you desperate power-hungry thugs are trying to impose yourselves in the south-east and south-south, despite the fact you're despised in these zones; and conversely, we're witnessing little or no violence in the north-west and north-east because PDP isn't trying to impose themselves on these zones! In any case, aren't you guys now in charge of the security architecture of the country? It's either you're turning a blind eye to the mayhem because you're the instigators....or you're not in charge of the situation and way in over your heads! Either way, you don't come out of this positively! |
The message they’re sending out to all the APC party apparatchik lower down the ladder is that only the ‘lord and master’ in Aso Rock is allowed to benefit from rigging....the rest of you mofos had better start praying to whichever god you worship for a miracle, otherwise nothing-nothing for you! ![]() |
K Sermwell:Good question! It’s as if EFCC just woke up from a deep slumber! I reckon now they think the presidential election is done and dusted, they can now start clamping down on all those election malpractices that gave Buhari his ‘victory’! |
jaxxy:Because with a free and fair election, they’d be shown up for the unpopular, unsavoury characters they actually are! |
tommykiwi:You’re talking of a people who don’t know the meaning of the word ‘shame’....it’s not in their lexicon! Nigeria has taken so many steps backwards from 2015 in so many aspects of national life! It’s amazing how a people always manage to shoot themselves in the foot and retrogress given half a chance! We should have known what we were letting ourselves in for, ‘electing’ a bloodthirsty, power-hungry bigot whose only interest in power stems from the effizy and air-miles that goes with it! ![]() |
InvertedHammer:Hehehehe ![]() Davido should have appeared on the scene and sang assurance for her! That would have calmed frayed nerves! ![]() |
aswani:She probably said it in jest! However, some of her kinsfolk have taken it as an excuse to abuse Igbos....and some Igbos have taken it out of context and taken offence! It’s all part of the useless ethnic-religious inspired partisan-politics in Nigeria that i’m sick and tired of! |
Where’s the one sent to Rev Frs and Pastors in Churches? When i tell you fools that APC is an islamocentric party you’ll want to come for my head! ![]() |
Meanwhile, pan the camera back over to Naija and you see scenes of underaged kids voting in elections; thugs kicking ballot boxes with such dexterity that you begin to wonder why they're not playing in the English Premier League; ignorant muthafuckers screaming 'sai baba' like their life depends on it; nepotism over merit; dick measuring by ethnicities that ought to know better; so-called herdsmen and bandits slaughtering innocents in industrial numbers; kidnapping; skull-mining; prostitution; suicide; unemployment; millions of kids out begging on the streets when they ought to be in school; governors making a song-and-dance about launching boreholes and constructing sub-standard roads; the list is endless! And we hope to match or even better the likes of Ethiopia, Rwanda and Ghana? |
GLYMAN:Brilliant! The answers to these questions will tell you where our problem lies! ![]() |
rex444:Never mind Bene....even Somalia no dey for list! ![]() |
It’s in this sort of league table you will see ‘one Nigeria’! Fuc’king useless negroes! |
cute9ja:Oh please, spare us the pretence! You knew exactly what you were doing when you posted this revisionist, one-sided cra'p! Saying you didn't author the article but just innocently posted it because you're looking for a detached and dispassionate analysis of the points raised is bullshit! You expected dispassionate discourse on such a Igbo-bashing thread on nairaland!? |
ipodstinks:Zik was an idealist who wrongly believed 'one Nigeria' stood a chance of success! I'm cutting him some slack due of his pan-Nigerian childhood and upbringing which shaped his worldview! Now if you're a 'one Nigeria' apostle, Zik should be your god shouldn't he? If however you're not a 'one Nigeria' apostle, yet keep quiet and allow things to continue the way they are, it stands to reason that you're either a two-face hypocrite or a coward! Hope that answered your question? |
Arda1000:Don’t mind the fool! If Mazi Kanu is a scam, what would he call the Lugard creation that’s responsible for the highest amount of bloodshed since the Second World War....a lie sustained primarily to service the interest of the Fulani oligarchs! |
What Ebonyi needs now is direct access to the outside world either via a airport in Abakaliki, or a rail link to AIIA Enugu! |
Someone needs to tell the Governor that he should invest in a couple of motorised street-sweepers as well! |
Another thing i like about the state is how they show it's possible for a state gov't to save money by embarking on these kind of projects without having to run to Julius-Berger that will quote you tens of billions of naira...if not dollars! This helps to keep the money withing the state. You can see quality hasn't been compromised as well...which isn't usually the case with projects in other states that use local contractors! On a serious note, other state gov'ts need to do a peer-group review (if that's the term it's called) and compare notes with Ebonyi to see how they can save money on project implementation in their states! The concrete rural roads in Ebonyi done on a shoestring budget are the revelation of the decade! |
RTSC:It's like a revolving door! ![]() Can't believe you forgot Aunty Arunma though! |
Okoro-eh-Okoro....Okoro-eh-Okoro! ![]() |
investnow2013:Damn...all the 5 south-east states are in the top 10! Impressive stuff! ![]() Ebonyi is improving! |
If Abians don't ensure this toad is disgraced at the polls, then they deserve whatever they get! |
SillyMods:Shut up! You hear o to gee and all you can think of is your nemesis the Igbos coming to snatch away your ill-gotten privileges! You think there are no Yorubas in the movement as well? Igbo have a stake in Lagos hence they're entitled to have an opinion on who they'd prefer to govern the state! If you don't like it, then follow IPOB to agitate for the break-up of Nigeria so you can be rid of those 'pesky yeebos' for good! |
MIKOLOWISKA:I don't get the point you're trying to make. You saying he shouldn't invest in the east where he's from? |
I dislike that man! Given the potentials of Abia state, it's a disgrace that it's in the position it is presently nearly 4 years into the Ikpeazu admin'! Nothing stands out as an achievement in that state! |
RTSC:Same here! |
Any pics of the ongoing waste plant, ecumenical centre and canal being dug within the state capital? |
Impressive stuff! I hope they start the landscaping as soon as possible! The thing that i like the most are all those concrete rural roads. They've opened up the rural areas, and look beautiful as an added bonus! |
kramer:Could you give us examples of who in Nigeria meets your standards for beauty.....say two examples? |
SluttanSlayer:Hehehehe ![]() |
Was gonna say 99.9%, but let’s go with your estimate! ![]() |
