Even after correcting you, you're still arguing! Uche Secondus is not Igbo, so your thread heading is wrong!

PDP members everywhere disrupting elections then later they’ll come and shout “rigging” may destroy u ppl totally for brain washing gullible Nigerians angry
Please, just shut up! How come the elections in 2015 which were done when the PDP you mentioned were in power recorded far less violence and infractions compared to this orgy of bloodletting and rigging under the 'saintly' APC? What's happening is that you desperate power-hungry thugs are trying to impose yourselves in the south-east and south-south, despite the fact you're despised in these zones; and conversely, we're witnessing little or no violence in the north-west and north-east because PDP isn't trying to impose themselves on these zones!

In any case, aren't you guys now in charge of the security architecture of the country? It's either you're turning a blind eye to the mayhem because you're the instigators....or you're not in charge of the situation and way in over your heads! Either way, you don't come out of this positively!
PoliticsRe: EFCC Arrests 7 Party Agents For Vote Buying (PHOTO) by Xander85: 7:11pm On Mar 09, 2019
The message they’re sending out to all the APC party apparatchik lower down the ladder is that only the ‘lord and master’ in Aso Rock is allowed to benefit from rigging....the rest of you mofos had better start praying to whichever god you worship for a miracle, otherwise nothing-nothing for you! wink

why were these vote buyers not arrested during the presidential electionshuh
Good question! It’s as if EFCC just woke up from a deep slumber!

I reckon now they think the presidential election is done and dusted, they can now start clamping down on all those election malpractices that gave Buhari his ‘victory’!

Why does Apc hate free and fair elections now they are in power?
Because with a free and fair election, they’d be shown up for the unpopular, unsavoury characters they actually are!

APChit party should be ashamed of themselves, the first election dey conducted is full of crimes and killing of innocent citizens!
You’re talking of a people who don’t know the meaning of the word ‘shame’....it’s not in their lexicon!

Nigeria has taken so many steps backwards from 2015 in so many aspects of national life! It’s amazing how a people always manage to shoot themselves in the foot and retrogress given half a chance!

We should have known what we were letting ourselves in for, ‘electing’ a bloodthirsty, power-hungry bigot whose only interest in power stems from the effizy and air-miles that goes with it! sad

I see nothing wrong in what she said.

The whole statement was taken out of context.

She was asking for reassurance. That's all.

Davido should have appeared on the scene and sang assurance for her! That would have calmed frayed nerves! wink

She was probably just joking with a friend and people are now going to use it for a different reason.

You should hear what my friends from different tribes say to each other as yabbis.

I am certain her words were taken out of context. Do we know the reaction of the person she was talking to?
She probably said it in jest! However, some of her kinsfolk have taken it as an excuse to abuse Igbos....and some Igbos have taken it out of context and taken offence! It’s all part of the useless ethnic-religious inspired partisan-politics in Nigeria that i’m sick and tired of!

Foreign AffairsRe: Rwanda: This Country Was In Total Ruins In The 90s Due To Bloody Civil War by Xander85: 4:42am On Mar 09, 2019
Meanwhile, pan the camera back over to Naija and you see scenes of underaged kids voting in elections; thugs kicking ballot boxes with such dexterity that you begin to wonder why they're not playing in the English Premier League; ignorant muthafuckers screaming 'sai baba' like their life depends on it; nepotism over merit; dick measuring by ethnicities that ought to know better; so-called herdsmen and bandits slaughtering innocents in industrial numbers; kidnapping; skull-mining; prostitution; suicide; unemployment; millions of kids out begging on the streets when they ought to be in school; governors making a song-and-dance about launching boreholes and constructing sub-standard roads; the list is endless!

And we hope to match or even better the likes of Ethiopia, Rwanda and Ghana?

For starers, please let's not even go near level of education and intellectual competence, you are no match for me (Don't even make me go into details)

Secondly, i did not write the article, i only shared it because i knew it was a very sensitive write-up that will generate a cornucopia of respondents, and evidently i was not wrong.

Nobody has the monopoly of knowledge, we all make mistakes and learn everyday, people like you that bash people on the internet and feel like 24/7 encyclopedias are inconsequential in real life.

Finally, I really wonder who you are telling that the South South was carved out of the Western/Mid-Western and Eastern region?

Did I at any point say otherwise about the South-South?

You know that they say about empty barrels.........
Oh please, spare us the pretence! You knew exactly what you were doing when you posted this revisionist, one-sided cra'p! Saying you didn't author the article but just innocently posted it because you're looking for a detached and dispassionate analysis of the points raised is bullshit! You expected dispassionate discourse on such a Igbo-bashing thread on nairaland!? shocked Dude, get real!

Oh o. Nice one. But tell me, why did Azikwe against Secession clause sir? I like it as there is no insult now.
Zik was an idealist who wrongly believed 'one Nigeria' stood a chance of success! I'm cutting him some slack due of his pan-Nigerian childhood and upbringing which shaped his worldview!

Now if you're a 'one Nigeria' apostle, Zik should be your god shouldn't he? If however you're not a 'one Nigeria' apostle, yet keep quiet and allow things to continue the way they are, it stands to reason that you're either a two-face hypocrite or a coward!

Hope that answered your question?

What Ebonyi needs now is direct access to the outside world either via a airport in Abakaliki, or a rail link to AIIA Enugu!

Someone needs to tell the Governor that he should invest in a couple of motorised street-sweepers as well!

Another thing i like about the state is how they show it's possible for a state gov't to save money by embarking on these kind of projects without having to run to Julius-Berger that will quote you tens of billions of naira...if not dollars! This helps to keep the money withing the state. You can see quality hasn't been compromised as well...which isn't usually the case with projects in other states that use local contractors!

On a serious note, other state gov'ts need to do a peer-group review (if that's the term it's called) and compare notes with Ebonyi to see how they can save money on project implementation in their states! The concrete rural roads in Ebonyi done on a shoestring budget are the revelation of the decade!

And our Igbo brothers and sisters in Lagos do not see any need for "O TO Gee" for PDP in Abia or any of the Eastern states that have been chained by the Poverty Development Party since 1999 (a whole 20 years of slavery)!

Igbos always cry more than the bereaved.
Shut up! You hear o to gee and all you can think of is your nemesis the Igbos coming to snatch away your ill-gotten privileges! You think there are no Yorubas in the movement as well?

Igbo have a stake in Lagos hence they're entitled to have an opinion on who they'd prefer to govern the state! If you don't like it, then follow IPOB to agitate for the break-up of Nigeria so you can be rid of those 'pesky yeebos' for good!

Those cheekbones are way too pronounced for me to consider her a 'beauty'. And if she wasn't so light skinned a lot of people would see her differently

I suppose it's similar to the way certain people love gap toothed chicks. It's a No from me all fronts I'm afraid.
Could you give us examples of who in Nigeria meets your standards for beauty.....say two examples?

The only solution is to restructure the polity, reduce the powers and roles of the FG.

Jonathan wanted to do this with his confab which the yorubas led by Tinubu opposed .

Jonathan was a golden opportunity for the south but unbelievable the same south was his greatest critic and opponent. While the north had only BH to express their frustration , the south had enough useful idiots willing and ready to insult and derail GEJ's govt .

The south can never smell the presidency as things stand because the north will never relinquish their grip on power and there won't be any silly talk of restructuring anymore. Just look at the idiots that were elected into the Senate under the APC; is it that Buffon Roachass or that crook Kalu that will speak for the south ?
