major problem of you people here is. You don't read, you don't do findings, you don't research. And anyone that does that who now knows more than you, and want to help you through your post or questions, you will label him or her a scammer. See, on my first post I just gave the Op idea, I didn't ask anyone to dm me. But because they requested for my number that's why I put it out. In life, if you don't know something and you have those that knows, and it seems fishy, you have to go and do your proper finding. I saw a pumping machine here on Nairaland last week that doesn't use fuel, nor electric, nor solar and I made research about it. in fact I collected the person number. I made post on castor seeds some months ago how lucrative it is. After that post, a man from Ibadan called me and started telling me one nonsense. Castor seeds is now 1800 per kg, in fact a woman wanted to buy 2 days ago.

Now, majority of us think everyone is a scammer, if you think what is being said looks like scam and yet you can't go ahead and do your proper finding. That's your own problem. You may never get forward with that.

Some months ago, I came across mushroom on one Facebook ads that the man was in Canada urging Nigerians to be farming it because it's lucrative , I saw the ads and I was like what is lucrative in this nonsense we do see under rotten trees. Then, I check the price of a kg of it. I was like, so, this nonsense has profit, ordinary Google search can save you some questions but majority of you won't. i was like, wait o, I search price of a kg of mushroom, it's like 4k for oyster mushroom, immediately I called a friend that I saw on a Facebook page on mushroom. He said it's very lucrative.

Then, I was like, what's function of this nonsense, I now saw it medical relevance. it's very good is medicine. I asked a group of farmer from my Whatsapp group if they know about it, you won't believe that several are already doing it. A kg of button mushroom now is around 20k, 100kg will make you 2million naira. In fact the farmer said "it is never enough" in supply.

Ordinary "what is " most of you can't search with your phone until you ask online, no sign of doing research yourself and if they tell you , you call them scammer.

Some days ago, I was checking people's comment on job that pays well abroad and I saw forklift, truck driving, electrician, welding, I made sure I read all the pages till the end. Now, have not gotten abroad but I already know jobs that pays well. If you don't find, you can't know.

Now, mean if I want to send few kg of Elubo to my sister overseas, I need CAC , not only CAC, na RCC, it's those sophisticated product that needs that. Don't you see how those that goes there for first time do pack their goods. They will use transparent bags and put the name of whatever you carry on it to save question asking. So, you mean the locust bean they do pack has CAC number or Nafdac? Have you even seen an Ugwu pack that has CAC number. I sent moi moi leaves there first time, so I go dey try to get CAC for moi moi leaves?

Please go and check" Ekenomic" on social media, check "Moji export" on Instagram, check "Bella foods" on Instagram, and "udy foods" enroll for their training.

When I said their are cheaper cargo, their were some people here that said it's not possible, isn't it after someone testifies that you started flooding our dms.

Don't come near me o, because many of you are too lazy to research and to find things.
Any if their is a way out from a question asked, you the questionnaire will be the one to call him/her a scammer because of help that want to be rendered.
Nicely put.
You're a deep reader, and have done a lot of product/market research. You are indeed truly knowledgeable about your craft.
I want you to kindly give me the NL weblink of the guy who sells pumping machines that don't use solar, fuel, or electricity.

Thanks a lot.

What can't be done, to go to African stores and ask if they could need someone to supply them some other African foods if it's not sufficient or they don't have at all. The worst they can say is " they don't want" will they beat? The task is a paid task o. But someone said it's not possible here in overseas, as if no be human being they live their. most people you see moving out sold their resources. But if you can do some business like exportation of Nigeria food, some farming crazy farming that are small scale but return is large within some months, it's good. in export, you can make 1 millionaire gain on 100kg of Garri only in a week. Export is the best but hard to come by.

A kg here is around 700 naira, there is around 12 USD that's like 12000 naira. their are some courier that charges 3500 per kg multiply it by 100, that's 350k for transportation, getting there if sold like say 10 USD, that's 1000 USD within like 5 days. 1000 USD is around 1.1 million naira here in just few days, now imagine you send, egusi, elubo, etc.

Travel › Re: Subtle Influences I Experienced While Living In Europe. by XAUBulls: 8:15pm On Dec 10, 2023
laivwire:
In one of the Scandinavian countries in particular.

1. Minding your own business: This is the first culture shock. I do like to mind my business but Europeans take it to another level. No greetings, they won't even make eye contact. The most you will get is a 'Hi', 'Hello' happens if someone wants to ask a question. Public trains, buses and trams are quiet. Everyone prefers to leave a space or sit alone, plug in their headphones, and just gaze at their phone all day. It's something likened to a zombie movie...and of course, it begins to rub on you as well. You begin to dump all the ebullient greetings we are used to in Africa or heated discussions on the bus. you stay quiet, whip out your phone and scroll away.

2. Using high-end phones: Talking of phones, everyone is using an iPhone 13 pro max. I exaggerate but that's what you find around most of the time; High-end phones. And before you know it, other Africans like you are doing the same. Dumping the Tecnos they come with for more premium brands.

3. Smoking and drinking: You see a friend or colleague looking so gentle and meek and the next thing you see is her puffing away. It's everywhere and almost every adult does. Those that don't smoke vape. It's just all around. Nicotine in different forms: cigarettes, snuff you call it. Drinks are also complicit. Even though it is highly controlled, they pride themselves on getting drunk during social events and laugh about it.

4. Hedonistic purchases: I used to whip out my calculator before any purchase back when I just got in. Converting euros to naira and wondering why things were so expensive. Once you begin to earn a decent salary, those fears quickly vanish and you require good self-control from draining your account. It's a battle against the way the system conforms you. You must spend. Leave taxes, rent, and utilities aside. If you are to plot your liquid capital on a line curve, it will assume a rough zigzag shape pretty quickly. Transport is costly, you need winter shoes, you need running shoes, you need jackets, you need to get guacamole, chicken, sausages bla bla bla. Chinese knockoffs are not so common. Every big brand designer has their outlet here from Nike, Adidas to Ecco so you buy original which is expensive.

and just like your peers, you don't want your Nike dunks to wear out so quickly through everyday use so you buy 1 or 2 more pairs. grin Same with your Gucci perfume and your hoodies. You want hiking boots along with winter boots and comfortable sandals. Check your account.

5. Time blocking and adherence: Yes, if you're not on time the bus will leave you..and if you miss the bus, you will miss the train you're to link up with. A 1-minute delay can cost you 30 minutes lateness and eventually your job which costs you lots of money. You don't joke with time. You are paid per hour working. You won't spend more than a minute in a meeting you are slated to end by 2 pm. You move or you exit the Zoom call. No send anybody because dem no go send you.

6. Obeying traffic rules: It's great being a pedestrian here... and that's because it can be quite costly being a motorist. licenses are overly expensive. Diesel is costly, tolls and parking will zap your money grin so when you drive, do so with extreme caution. You don't want to be on the wrong side of the law before you find your ass back in the sweltering heat of your motherland. grin

7. Doing what is right always: One of the major proponents of this factor is the high importance Europeans place on references. Except it's an underground job where you are cheated in accordance with the laws of the land, your prospective employer wants to see solid references. So if you like, mess yourself up on your job. Sorry for you.

You do not need anyone to tell you not to be lazy. When getting a good job is a job in itself, you won't want to lose it. When colleagues younger than you can humiliate you covertly and overtly because your work quality is watery, you will tighten up. When you have 200 highly skilled applicants applying for one role on LinkedIn in 1 week, you will join them if you're not fucking good at what you do. angry

Other folks can add if I miss anything.

Good morning.
True that.

Paris shooting: Suspect admits 'pathological' hatred of migrants!

The man accused of a deadly attack against the Kurdish community in Paris has admitted to a "pathological" hatred of migrants, French prosecutors say.

The 69-year-old told investigators he had planned to kill "non-European foreigners" as he embarked on his shooting spree on Friday, they say.

The suspect was placed in psychiatric care after being questioned by police.

He is accused of opening fire at a Kurdish cultural centre, killing three people and wounding another three.

The man, retired train driver named as William M., told police he had become "depressed" and "suicidal" after his home was burgled in 2016, the office of the Paris prosecutor said on Sunday.

He admitted that since then, his hatred of foreigners had "become totally pathological", the statement added.

It said that on Friday he first went to Saint-Denis, a high-immigration suburb in northern Paris, in order to kill "non-Europeans" - but found few people there.

He then travelled to the Ahmet-Kaya Kurdish centre in Paris's 10th district, where he carried out the attack.

The man resented that community because Kurdish militiamen involved in the Syrian conflict had "taken prisoners during their fight against Islamic State instead of killing them", the prosecutors say.

A nearby restaurant and a hairdresser also came under fire before the man was arrested without a fight.

He was detained on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, and acting with a racist motive.

He has a history of weapons offences and it has emerged that he was released on bail days before the assault.

Last year he was charged with racist violence over a sword attack at a migrant camp in the French capital.

The shootings sparked unrest on Friday and Saturday. Demonstrators started fires in the streets, smashing car windows and clashing with police.

The violence unfolded after Kurds had gathered peacefully in the Place de la République to pay tribute to the victims.

In the aftermath of the shootings, Kurds have renewed calls to the French authorities for better protection. Community leaders met the Parisian police chief on Saturday.

Friday's attack came almost 10 years after the murder of three Kurdish women activists in the French capital - an unresolved crime.

The community was again "afraid", having been "traumatised" by the January 2013 murders, said a lawyer for the Kurdish democratic council in France (CDK-F).

Source: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-64091557
Gosh! I'm just reading this. The Kurds have always been a peaceful people who have had to undergo a lot of persecutions and the loss of their oil and gas-rich lands for years from fellow Arab Muslims under Saddam Hussein in Iraq and also in Turkey. I hope they don't experience such attacks in France again.
