Kasdat5: I found your analysis extremely biased. May be you're still in pain for Atiku's lost. How can you even compare the mighty Kwankwaso and the likes of Tambuwal and Lamido? Lamido couldn't deliver Jigiwa to Atiku, but Kwankwaso won kano handsdown even though both kano and jigawa are governed by APC. Tambuwal also, another decampee is battling in sokoto, lost majortiyy of the seats. Kano central seat, the seat belongs to Sen Rufai sani Hanga of NNPP not shekarau, just wait and see. As for G5 issue, Atiku messed up when he couldn't let go Ayu. Now that he lost the election, let Ayu retain the charmanship for the rest of his life. Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh |

Pascal9: That's not correct. Beeing from Kano, I can tell you that, the election is keely contested. The senate and HoR winners are the indicators. For example, Sen Barau I Jibril of APC won against NNPP candidate because he is the best, despite kwankwasiyya tsunami. In the Kano south a sitting senator Kabiru gaya of APC lost to NNPP's Kawu sumaila despite been in the senate for 16 years. Now if you sum all the votes of the senators in both parties, you'll see how the vote equates the presidential. Kano has voted for good candidates. |

Eriokanmi: I don't agree with your assertion that religious politics did play down south. Because, if you look at the bar chart of the results, you'll find that each of the candidates are able to secure reasonable votes in the north, unlike in the southeast. Just look at the result of Anambra, enugu for example and compare it with Adamawa or kaduna, you'll see what I'm talking about. In fact, what I actually see with respect to religous politics is that the southerners and the Christian bodies wanted to fight the so-called Muslim-Muslim tickets but, in reality they ended up helping it. Also, Kwankwaso is not a looser in this election unlike you thought. He was able to re-establish his base in kano after been betrayed politically by Gov Ganduje. Joining Obi as a VP would have affected this. Also, it isimportant for you to understand that contesting against the duo of Tinubu and Atiku is not an easy task, thus even if Obi/Kwankwaso have been materialised, there's still no guarantee of success in the Presidential elections. You can agree with me if you add both the results of the two candidates. 4 Likes |

Alhaji Waziri has made many unwise decisions which are responsible for his loss at the presidential polls. They are: 1. Siding with the likes of Tambuwal and Sule Lamido against Kwankwaso during PDP northwest zonal tussle. Now Kwankwaso has proven to be more useful poitically than the others. 2. Allowing Peter Obi to leave the party. He could have stayed if the VP seat has been reserved for him with genuine commitment. 3. Selecting Okowa instead of a more powerful Wike. Okowa didn't add value to the tiket. 4. Unability to let go the party chairman, Ayu, to pacify the so-called G5 governors. Ayu couldn't deliver Benue state to Atiku. I hope the presidency of the projected winner, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed tinubu would be the best for the country. May Nigeria succeed. #NigeriaDecides #nigeriaelection2023 12 Likes 1 Share |

The whole narrative about Igbo (SE) presidency is confusing... 1. If we're zoning between North and South, then their agitation is baseless. The turn of the south means SW, SE and SS have equal right to aspire. 2. If we're zoning between the six geopolitical regions, then other subregions such as NC and NE also have the right to agitate for the presidency because they didn't produce a president since the return of democracy in 1999. 3. If we're zoning between the ethnic groups in the country, then other tribes have the right to agitate for the presidency as well. The question is what do you really want? And what's your strategy? |

I keep wondering why Buhari paid the Pensions of the Biafran Retired Soldiers after over 51 years of the Civil War. I wonder why Jonathan and Obasanjo didn't think about it in the 14 years of their Adminstrations, yet they are both Christians. I wonder why our Christian leaders keep telling us that Northerners are our enemies, but two Christian Presidents were in Power for 16 years and didn't achieve anything even in Southeast. Who is actually the enemy of who? Buhari commissioned one of the Biggest Train Station in West Africa in the South just two days ago, why didn't he shift that gigantic project to the North? Goodluck Jonathan was in Power for 6 years, why didn't he complete the Nnamdi Azikiwe Conference Centre in Onitsha? Ndi Igbo! OUR MUMU NO TOO MUCH? |

Imagine if this statement came from Dr Gumi, Pantami or any other northerner? There would have been media manipulation, reactions from the so called activists like FFK, Deji, Yesufu. Sahara reporters would have to link the person with Buhari's tribe, family and so on. Too much hypocrisy in this country. |

SIRTee15: 1. Personally I don't like Buhari administration due to inactions, and his incompetence has always been criticised in the mosques . However, we don't hate him like you do. 2. You don't need to know my tribe or region be4 you agree or disagree with me. By the way I'm from the north and I'm not fulani. 3. Pls try and control your hatred because that what's preventing you from from getting some1's point right. 4. To educate your ignorance, fulanis are minorities in the north and some of them are educated and nice while a many are left in the Bushes (so.e in the north but majority in the southern part of Nigeria, where they learned Kidnappings and banditry) for many decades. Also there are Christians among fulanis. Atiku is more fulani than Buhari but as you know Nigerian elites have only one tribe, religion and language that's interest and personal ambition. |

Nigerian muslims doesn't have any bad feelings over Pastor professor being Vice president. Unfortunately many "majority" of our brothers from Christian faith are always not happy seeing a practising Muslim ( like sheikh or imam) holding a big office in the country. I hope we'll one day grow above that. I was always hoping and praying that Pastor Osibanjo with Zulum succeeded Buhari is 2023, but with the recent religious sentiments played I'm afraid we may be left to chose btw Atiku and Tinubu in 2023 both of which have bad records in the past. The reality of our situation is that we at the grass root always hates ourselves while the elite and political class loves and hug each other. |
