In a saner society, an accused rapist life is practically over.
It is the only crime where the accused is presumed guilty until and even after being found innocent.

If you think the few voices on social media condemning alleged rapists is a punishment, living in the US
will certainly change your mind.
At least, allege rapists over here don't lose their jobs and usually have some people publicly defending them.
