drealmydas:In Nigeria, if you refuse to bribe an ordinary police officer, you can be shot. But a lady allegedly slapped one of the notorious SARS officer in company of other officers and nothing happened. That eyewitness is so dumb, if she wants to cook up story, she should have done it with sense. If indeed she was wrong why are they against her recording? |
ifymadu:If you go through my posts, you will see that I support SARS in arresting yahoo boys even many cry babies are against it(who knows if you are one of them). But you are very foolish to believe the word of an eyewitness. The dancer assaulted a SARS officer, he did nothing. She insulted him, he did nothing. Then she came online to accuse him of slapping her. The same SARS officers(30 of them in this case) that are eager to arrest, detain and shoot suddenly become terrified of a skinny lady and couldn't do anything. While this was going on, the eyewitness who happens to be driving by and doesn't care about her own safety decided to intervene. Even a kid will not believe such story, but what do I know, intelligence is not always correlated with age. |
Two people fighting over different opiums. |
The girl is dull. A simple visit from SARS will reset the blackmailer's brain. |
ifymadu:You are so gullible. The eyewitness is merely protecting her boyfriend's job. SARS will never charge her to court because they know the implications. I hope you encounter the same SARS hospitality that Korra encounter. |
Jodhar:It is foolish to believe the word of a SARS officer. I hope you encounter them soon. |
Another achievement for Buhari. |
The eyewitness is a girlfriend to a SARS officer. She couldn't hide the barbarity of SARS by claiming they want to beat her up. What kind of a police gang up to beat a civilian when they could have arrested here? When does SARS become traffic warden? If you think SARS is wrong for arresting yahoo boys but it is okay for them to harass a motorist. Then something is wrong somewhere. |
Really |
drlateef:When the contest is between two muslims, you go for the extremist one. When it is between a muslim and other faith, you vehemently preach against the infidel, hiding under the cover of fairness, zoning or integrity. I have no problem with your positions but pretence is bad. |
Mrukk:They are liars, let them bring evidence that those listed were disqualified and the person who disqualified them. Bisi Akande was once a member, so was the late Oyo governor, Lam Adesina and both are muslims. It was political disagreement(defeat of AD) which led to Akande leaving the group. What these muslim "leader" want is to sit down in their room and get invited to become a member. It is never done. I have seen no proof that the listed names have at anytime applied to be a member of Afenifere. What is even more interesting is that none of the names mentioned have an iota of Islamic fanaticism in them, yet these muslim "leaders" are using their name for Buhari/Islamic/political agenda. I see big problems in the future by the time these old men all die off because they will be the last generation of Yorubas who believe in Yoruba agenda. |
Locusstandi:Thank you. Nairaland is giving platform to divisive elements such as the one-man group Muric and this three member "group". They claim to be muslim leader but the content of their release is more of a Islamic/Buhari fanatic who is angry at everybody else. |
BabaEleko:Be bold to state where your allegiance lies. You are just like those religious zealot leaders using religion to drum support for Buhari. Guess what your lord Buhari has done for the Yoruba region, he has created the largest number of Almajiri's. Now every motor pack, shopping complex and public space is full of Yoruba beggars. This wasn't the case some few years back. They have lost their credibility and are expired. They are a composition of political rats looking for an opening to continue having their share of the National cake. In western countries, politicians would retire to continue their professional career or go hook up one of their hobbies or whatever, but in Nigeria here, National Assembly is the retirement home of past politicians because they either don't have a career to go to, because most of their credentials are fake or they are glued to the free government money which comes easy when government encouraged theft of the nation's wealth. They are expired as Buhari himself. If they were really expired, your muslim leaders won't hold a press conference about them. They lost power due to OBJ's machinations but they still held on to their principles. They are men who lived and still live a modest life. Power and credibility are not the same. It is a shame that you mention theft and national assembly in reference to Afenifere when no single prominent member is a member of the national assembly. It is typical of Buhari's supporter to tag everybody a thief. We all know for a fact that Buhari has handicapped and made Obasanjo, IBB, Jonathan and other old thieve totally powerless. Gone are the days when Obasanjo handpicks who becomes the President, (Yardua, GEJ) now he is so powerless he can even win his own local govt., he had to go make up with his sworn enemies, Bode George, OGD and more, just to be able to get back his illegal oil block, government contracts and other unconstitutional emoluments which are no longer coming. This old fools should bury their heads in shame. They have been exposed and will never be taken seriously by any sensible Yoruba son or daughter. Awon Ole Oshi.I am beginning to question your age. OBJ has mostly lost his polling booth except in 2015. He has never had local support at any time in history even when he was in power. He has always played on the national scene. Oh, the "thief" accusation again. OBJ is not even a member of Afenifere but you had to lump them together to make everyone look guilty. You are really doing a good job but note you and your leaders religious division may backfire. |
Mosesm:More christians became leaders because many muslims were scared of western education for religious reasons in Nigeria's early history. There were educated muslim but they are far in between. So those who prioritise education over religion became the de facto leader. It is by no accident that Awolowo, Ahamdu bello and Azikwe became the leader in their various domains, the key is western education. Of course, this view of education has changed but you can't expect the legacy of the anti-west stance of some Yoruba muslim to fade away that fast. The question you should ask yourself is why these muslim "leaders" didn't join Afenifere since it is a voluntary group open to all Yorubas. But they choose to sow division from the outside because their goals is more of an Islamic than Yoruba ones. The problem here is that these muslim leaders will be long dead before their seed of division start bearing fruit. They are creating problems for the future generations of Yoruba which may ultimately lead to violence. |
All the cacophony of the Christian propaganda using their pre-eminent domination of the Nigerian press is apparently geared towards a Christian propelled president in 2019.I am really not surprised, a lot of underground divisive religious-based political division have been going on in SW in recent years now because some people felt that they are losing their base. What way to fight back than to create a we vs them war. I have no problem with this set of people choosing political sides but they should be forthright about it The question right-thinking people should ask is what is the business of this group, a supposed muslim group with Buhari and his administration? |
DrayZee:She is a thief by virtue of demanding ransom for the phone. How she got the phone is irrelevant. What kind of a creditor repairs a debtor's phone? My views won't change until there is an objective evidence that clearly shows that the real owner of the Iphone actually owns her money. |
Sterope:An incoherent story courtesy of a not so smart lawyer. The only person who will repair a phone is a person who thinks the phone belongs to them which in this case is the accused. Would you repair a phone you seized from your debtor? |
I don't believe this, no creditor will use their own money to repair a debtor's phone. |
Farewell to Poverty? Beggars have increased astronomically since Buhari's election. Tinubu must be mad. |
iceberryose:I know there are scammers in every country but how do you know those selling fake goods are Americans when anybody from any country can claim to be from the US? |
Many are mad but few are roaming. |
Anybody who returns another person's money or item because of potential benefit or threat is no better than a thief. It is the same mentality that go that lagos Iphone ransom corper into trouble. You either be a real thief or return other people's property with a clean heart. This guy deserves condemnation. |
shineeye1:Why should people enter marriage? For the boredom and suffering? |
Explorers:Actually that means nothing with advanced tech or even some local tech I have witnessed. |
Buhari2019:Buhari body odour is back? |
Fake news. They are neither Nigerian nor fighting over a man. |
nlandmodsaremad:Eh ya, take heart and forgive them. |
Traitors, they would have apologised to Abacha if he were alive. Some of them even received bribe from Abacha before he died. SMH. |
ChiefAzubuike:Feel free to gift your kid with poverty. |
musicwriter:Another victim crying like a baby. |
MartinCorridon:Maga, take my advice before it is too late. |
You will pay for pre-empting court judgement. |
